    Abstract Regulation of Metal Stress Toxicity in Plants by Nitric Oxide examines the role of nitric oxide in regulating plant responses to metal toxicity. With a focus on regulation and signaling, this title analyzes how each key step of the plant lifecycle is affected. Recent studies have demonstrated the role of NO in regulating seed germination, nodule formation and nitrogen fixation, reactive oxygen species, Ca and hormone signaling, and their subsequent impacts on plant development under stressed and non-stressed conditions.
