Abstract Abstract Despite policy efforts to promote higher learning in Tanzania, reports show persistent student dissatisfaction, revealing the extant inadequate quality measurement models. The study examined the fundamental elements causing dissatisfaction using an extended SERVQUAL model with additional variables, perceived transparency mediated by trust. Researchers collected quantitative data from 398 third-year higher learning students. The structural equations modelling result shows that reliability, perceived transparency, and trust in an institution significantly predict satisfaction. Further, trust partially mediates the influence of perceived transparency on student satisfaction. Evidence from this study suggests that education policy geared to promote the expertise of service providers and punctuality of service offering, transparency in service offering, and social responsibility of service provision is adequate for student satisfaction. Future research can look into a cross-level of economic development, groups of students—analysis of satisfaction determinants, and test the transparency—trust-based SERVIQUAL Model in quality struggling sectors in Tanzania and other developing countries. Also, studies can test how satisfaction mediates the effect of quality on academic performance.

Abstract Background: Correction of secondary cleft nose deformity is one of the most important portions in the management of cleft lip patients. Various techniques have been introduced to achieve adequate shape, balance, and symmetry of anatomical landmarks. None of these methods can claim to universally solve all aspects of the problems encountered in secondary cleft deformity surgery. Some authors overlook the aspect of functional rehabilitation with regard to nasal respiratory pathway problems, which is present in over 90% of the patients. This study aimed to evaluate the aesthetic and functional improvements of the authors' non-destructive technique.
Methods: With over 15 years of experience, open rhinoplasty was performed, which included total remodeling of the deformed lower lateral cartilage using several suture fixation techniques without any graft or implantation with septo-turbinoplasty. A total of 150 questionnaires were sent by e-mail, but 55 completed questionnaires were returned. Surgical outcomes were evaluated using questionnaire responses, and outcomes were divided into five categories each for esthetic and functional analyses.
Results: The satisfaction rate ranged from 75 % to 98%, which means "more or less," "very much," and "absolutely yes" in the esthetic and functional viewpoints.
Conclusion: The results of this study strongly recommend performing the suture fixation technique and functional rehabilitation simultaneously for cleft lip/nose correction.

Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of head monted display based home-visits virtual reality simulation (HVRS) program developed for undergraduate nursing students.
Methods: A nonequivalent control group with a non-synchronized design was utilized and 84 participants (experimental group, 44; control group, 40) were recruited from August 31, 2020 to November 8, 2020 in Gwangju metropolitan city. The HVRS program consisted of scenarios of three nursing cases, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and stroke. Data were analyzed SPSS version 25.0 for Windows.
Results: At the completion of HVRS, significant differences were found between groups in knowledge of home-visits (t = 4.73,
Conclusion: The HVRS program developed for undergraduate nursing students is effective in improving knowledge of home-visits, self-confidence, self-efficacy, and clinical competency for nursing students.

Abstract Previous research has mainly focused on the cognitive-based theory of planned behavior (TPB) model to predict entrepreneurial intentions. However, given the close relationship between cognition and emotion, researchers may need to pay more attention to how emotional reactions help predict entrepreneurial intentions. To fill this gap, we apply both cognitive (i.e., descriptive norms) and emotional (i.e., anticipated inaction regret) aspects to understand predictors of entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, we employ the affect-as-information perspective as a complementary theoretical lens to TPB to test whether the role of descriptive norms on entrepreneurial intentions is affected by anticipated inaction regret as a form of emotional reaction to descriptive social norms. We conducted two survey-based studies with diverse samples (i.e., online Mturk panels of adults in the US and undergraduate students in Korea). This study demonstrates (1) a positive and significant relationship between descriptive norms and entrepreneurial intentions and (2) a mediating role of anticipated inaction regret between descriptive norms and entrepreneurial intentions. Our results contribute to the entrepreneurial intentions literature by exploring the mechanism between cognition and emotion, and highlighting an indirect emotional link (i.e., anticipated inaction regret) in understanding entrepreneurial intentions.
