Abstract This article presents a solid color circular weft fabric defect detection method based on AYOLOv7-tiny. The aim of the development of this network is to enable real-time defect detection in the production of large circular machine fabrics. The network has a good accuracy rate, fast detection speed, and a lightweight model. In the YOLOv7-tiny network, a space-to-depth layer followed by a non-strided convolution layer is introduced to enhance the feature extraction capability, improve image sharpness, address issues such as uneven grayscale and difficult detection of minor defects, and simplify the model complexity while reducing computation. Additionally, we combined the Squeeze and Excitation (SE) and Spatial Attention Module (SAM) based on Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM) to construct the Hybrid Attention Module (SC), which is integrated into the YOLOv7-tiny network. The SC module increases the weight of important features, enhances the feature extraction capability, improves image segmentation, and enhances the accuracy of the network's location information. Through extensive experiments with a dataset of large circular machine solid color circular weft fabric defect collected from an industrial site, the results show that AYOLOv7-tiny has a detection accuracy (mean average precision) of 98.7%, a detection speed of up to 333 frames per second, and a computational complexity of only 4.4 GFlops, which is better than the current mainstream surface defect detection models. The detection accuracy, detection speed, and model complexity of the AYOLOv7-tiny network all meet the real-time detection requirements of the industry and have been successfully used for real-time detection of large circular machine fabric defects.

Abstract Objectives: To summarize and appraise the use of dexmedetomidine in epidural labor analgesia, we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials (RCTs).
Methods: We conducted the literature search about the RCTs of epidural labor analgesia with or without dexmedetomidine from inception until November 1, 2022, in the following databases: PubMed, Cochrane Library, and Embase. The primary outcome was visual analog scale (VAS) within 2 hours after epidural intubation. The secondary outcomes included the duration of the first and second labor stages, Apgar score, umbilical blood pH, dosage of analgesics, and side effects.
Results: Eight RCTs including 846 parturients were included. The VAS score of the dexmedetomidine group was significantly lower than that of the control group at the time of 15 minutes (mean difference [MD] -1.41, 95% confidence interval [CI] -2.23, -0.59), 30 minutes (MD -1.02, 95% CI -1.70, -0.33), 60 minutes (MD -0.90, 95% CI -1.36, -0.44), and 90 minutes (MD -0.70, 95% CI -1.16, -0.23). The incidence of pruritus in the dexmedetomidine group was lower than that of the control group (MD 0.28, 95% CI 0.11, 0.74), but the incidence of maternal bradycardia was higher (MD 6.41, 95% CI 1.64, 25.04). There were no significant difference in other outcomes.
Discussion: Dexmedetomidine combined with local anesthetic for epidural labor analgesia can improve the VAS score of parturients. Except for the increased incidence of maternal bradycardia, it seems to be safe for the parturients and fetuses.

Abstract Background: Percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP) is a pivotal intervention for osteoporotic fractures, pathological vertebral compression fractures, and vertebral bone tumors. Despite its efficacy, the procedure presents challenges, notably complications arising from intradural cement leakage. Timely and accurate diagnosis, coupled with emergent intervention is imperative to improve patient prognosis. This case report illuminates the intricacies and potential complications associated with PKP, emphasizing the critical need for vigilant monitoring, prompt diagnosis, and immediate intervention to mitigate adverse outcomes.
Case summary: A 58-year-old male patient, experiencing a T7 osteoporosis-related pathological compression fracture, underwent PKP at a local hospital. Two weeks post-procedure, the patient developed paraplegic and dysuric symptoms, necessitating emergency decompression surgery. Gradual improvement was achieved, marked by the restoration of muscle strength, sensation, and mobility.
Conclusion: PKP Intradural cement leakage following PKP is unusual and potentially fatal. Prompt imaging examinations, urgent evaluation, and the decompression surgery are essential, which help alleviate symptoms associated with spinal damage, markedly improving the overall prognosis.

Abstract As a new industry, cold chain logistics has attracted much attention. Under the strong support of national policies, the development of cold chain logistics has entered the fast lane. This study takes the energy consumption of cold chain logistics as the research object, uses the the energy consumption benchmark evaluation model of regression analysis to present the current situation of energy consumption of cold chain logistics from different dimensions, puts forward the contradictions and problems existing in the current development based on the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis method. Finally, the development trend of cold chain logistics energy consumption is predicted and relevant suggestions are put forward. The purpose of this paper is to find out the rule of effect of each factor on energy consumption in cold chain logistics, and to provide the direction for energy-saving measures in production.

Abstract The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is one of the most densely built and economically vibrant regions in China, it is of vital importance to study the spatio-temporal heterogeneity and influence mechanisms of its carbon emissions against the backdrop of peaking carbon dioxide emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. However, systematic research on this area is still lacking. Therefore, this study uses spatial autocorrelation, kernel density estimation, and standard deviation ellipses to construct an exploratory spatial data analysis (ESDA) framework to analyze the spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics of carbon emissions from GBA and combine it with the geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model to identify the various influencing factors of carbon emissions in GBA and reveal its implications. The results showed that: (1) Between 2009 and 2019, the total carbon emissions in GBA remained stable and gradually decreased. The gap between the carbon emission intensity of the cities narrowed. (2) The GBA urban agglomeration exhibited spatial autocorrelation, but characteristics of the global spatial pattern had not yet formed a steady state. The kernel density of carbon emissions in GBA showed an obvious "monopolar" phenomenon. (3) The gravity centre of carbon emissions in GBA was located to the southeast of the geometric centre of the whole region, shifting toward the northwest. (4) Population size, level of economic development and energy intensity have a strong positive contribution to carbon emissions, compared to the level of opening up and industrialization level, which has a weaker impact. There is significant spatial heterogeneity in the distribution of regression coefficients for each factor, and GBA should take full account of the characteristics of different types of cities in terms of carbon emissions and implement targeted emission reduction strategies. Our research provides a comprehensive analytical framework for regional carbon emissions, offering theoretical support for low-carbon development in the GBA.

Abstract Considering the characteristics of complex texture backgrounds, uneven brightness, varying defect sizes, and multiple defect types of the bearing surface images, a surface defect detection method for bearing rings is proposed based on improved YOLOv5. First, replacing the C3 module in the backbone network with a C2f module can effectively reduce the number of network parameters and computational complexity, thereby improving the speed and accuracy of the backbone network. Second, adding the SPD module into the backbone and neck networks enhances their ability to process low-resolution and small-object images. Next, replacing the nearest-neighbor upsampling with the lightweight and universal CARAFE operator fully utilizes feature semantic information, enriches contextual information, and reduces information loss during transmission, thereby effectively improving the model's diversity and robustness. Finally, we constructed a dataset of bearing ring surface images collected from industrial sites and conducted numerous experiments based on this dataset. Experimental results show that the mean average precision (mAP) of the network is 97.3%, especially for dents and black spot defects, improved by 2.2% and 3.9%, respectively, and that the detection speed can reach 100 frames per second (FPS). Compared with mainstream surface defect detection algorithms, the proposed method shows significant improvements in both accuracy and detection time and can meet the requirements of industrial defect detection.

Abstract (-)-Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) is a polyphenol monomer compound extracted and separated from green tea, and is a key catechin in green tea. Recent research has identified that EGCG is equipped with important biological activities, including antitumor, antioxidant, anti-inflammation, blood fat reduction and radiation protection abilities. In the current study, it was investigated whether EGCG exerts a neuroprotective effect on AIT and examined the possible underlying mechanism. The present study sought to establish an experimental autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT) rat model and to investigate the neuroprotective effect of EGCG in this model. EGCG was demonstrated to inhibit urinary iodine values and thyroid pathological features in AIT model rats. Treatment with EGCG significantly reduced interleukin-1β, interferon-γ (INF-γ) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) levels in the AIT rats through suppression of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) pathway. In addition, pretreatment with EGCG significantly increased B-cell lymphoma-2 protein expression, and suppressed caspase-3 activity and TNF-α-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) protein expression levels in the AIT model rats. In conclusion, these results suggested that the neuroprotective effect of EGCG protects against AIT through its anti-inflammatory ability, anti-apoptosis and TRAIL signaling pathway in model rats, and it may be used as a therapeutic agent against AIT caused by inflammation.

Abstract Background: Post-stroke cognitive impairment and dementia (PSCID) is the main source of morbidity and mortality after stroke worldwide. It is one consequence of ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, or subarachnoid hemorrhage. Cognitive impairment and dementia after the clinical stroke may contribute to the clinical expression of PSCID, which are prevalent clinical symptoms, especially in the elderly. Current problems in the field of PSCID are related to a lack of harmonization of the classification and definition, deficiency of well-defined diagnosis, deficiency of standardized and objective treatment plans, etc. Auricular therapy can effectively improve the symptoms of patients with PSCID. However, there has been no systematic review of auricular therapy for PSCID. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of auricular therapy in patients with PSCID.
Methods: Before December 2022, a systematic literature search was conducted using the following databases: PubMed, Embase, SinoMed (previously called the Chinese Biomedical Database), Web of Science, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, and Wanfang Database. Review Manager software (version 5.3) will be used for statistical analysis; otherwise, descriptive analysis or subgroup analysis will be conducted. The quality of evidence for outcomes will be assessed with the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation approach.
Results: This meta-analysis further confirmed the beneficial effects of auricular therapy in patients with PSCID.
Conclusion: This study investigated the efficacy and safety of auricular therapy in patients with PSCID, providing clinicians and patients with additional options for this disease.

Abstract The integration of artificial intelligence (AI)-grounded procedures and the Internet of Things (IoT) is very important in the advancement of smart and intelligent paradigms. These techniques can be applied very efficiently for the development of various sectors, including the solution of mental health issues among students, especially in sports education. The proposed article is a summary and analysis of existing intelligent approaches employed to safeguard against numerous mental health issues during the academic journey of a learner. With the utilization of smart methodologies, it is very feasible to compute the stress or depression level of a student and improve academic performance and skills. With innovative technologies, it is possible to accurately analyze behavioral features and recognize any unwanted pattern for the timely detection of mental health issues. To assist the learners in becoming responsible citizens, it is very efficient to utilize AI for the improvement of their psychological quality and mental performance by reducing anxiety and depression levels. Smart methods can be applied for the recognition of personnel in educational sectors who are facing difficulties in performing their duties and can be motivated to enhance their mental level. The investigation then gathered several significant qualities from the literature already in the field and chose the most prevalent ones. The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is then used to execute the weighting of these attributes. The Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Research Analysis (MOORA) approach was used to rank the options.
