Abstract Introduction: Online education has become increasingly popular during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite its potential for breaking down environmental, geographic, time, and space constraints, many scholars have found that online education still has much room for development. Online physical education, and especially dance education, face challenges due to the high demands of physical interactions and safety requirements. However, only a few scholars have explored the psychological motivations in the context of higher education dance students. Therefore, this study enriches this stream of literature by investigating the motivations of students' intention to use online dance learning.
Methods: Structural equation modeling is performed in this study. Empirical data were collected from China to examine the relationship between constructs. This study uses self-determination theory to build a theoretical framework and deeply explore the psychological factors that affect students' attitudes and behavior towards online dance learning. Based on self-determination theory and perceived value theory, the study investigates the interrelationships among the seven latent structures: perceived autonomy on flexibility, perceived online class arrangement competence, perceived usage competence, perceived relatedness with instructors, attitudes, perceived value, and intention to use online dance education.
Results: The structural equation modelling results indicate that perceived autonomy, perceived competence, and perceived relatedness have a positive influence on attitudes, and attitudes have a positive influence on perceived value and the intention to use online dance education. All hypotheses proposed in the theoretical framework are supported by the empirical data analysis.
Discussion: This study extends the self-determination theory to the online dance education context, providing a new perspective for understanding students' motivation to use online dance classes. The research results also provide theoretical support and management inspiration for the sustainable development of art and physical higher education, particularly online dance education.

Abstract Rowleyella Lewis, 1971, established for a genus of fleas, was found to be a junior homonym of the brachiopod genus Rowleyella Weller, 1911 and is therefore replaced by Waynella nom. nov., a substitute that preserves the meaning of the original name. The four previously included nominal species, viz., Rowleyella arborea Lewis, 1971 (type-species), R. gongshanensis Gong and Duan, 1989, R. nujiangensis Lin and Xie, 1990 and R. fugongensis Gong and Li, 2020, are accordingly now to be called Waynella arborea (Lewis, 1971) n. comb., W. gongshanensis (Gong and Duan, 1989) n. comb., W. nujiangensis (Lin and Xie, 1990) n. comb. and W. fugongensis (Gong and Li, 2020) n. comb., respectively.

Abstract Background: Considerable progress has been made in defining and measuring the real option value (ROV) of medical technologies. However, questions remain on how to estimate (1) ROV outside of life-extending oncology interventions; (2) the impact of ROV on costs and cost effectiveness; and (3) potential interactions between ROV and other elements of value.
Methods: We developed a 'minimal modeling' approach for estimating the size of ROV that does not require constructing a full, formal cost-effectiveness model. We proposed a qualitative approach to assessing the level of uncertainty in the ROV estimate. We examined the potential impact of ROV on the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio as well as on the potential interactions between ROV and other elements of value. Lastly, we developed and presented a 15-item checklist for reporting ROV in value assessment.
Results: The minimal modeling approach uses estimates on the efficacy of current treatment and potential future innovation, as well as success rate and length of new treatment development, and can be applied to all types of ROV across disease areas. ROV may interact with the conventional value, value of hope, productivity effects, and insurance value. The impact of ROV on cost effectiveness can be evaluated via threshold analysis.
Conclusion: The minimal modeling approach and the checklist developed in this paper simplifies and standardizes the estimation and reporting of ROV in value assessment. Systematically including and reporting ROV in value assessment will minimize bias and improve transparency, which will help improve the credibility of ROV research and acceptance by stakeholders.

Abstract This article studies the global asymptotic stability problem of multiple integrators subject to uncertain parameters and high-order nonlinear perturbation. By introducing a modified saturation function with positive tunable parameters, three types of modified nested saturated controllers with different parameter assignments are proposed to handle the uncertain integrators with high-order nonlinear perturbation. The specific mechanism of the modified nested saturated controllers with different parameter assignments, in which control parameters appear before states, saturation functions, or saturation levels, is comprehensively analyzed. With the help of a modified saturation function, the global convergence domain of each state can be kept invariable in the saturation reduction analysis. Meanwhile, a large saturation level is obtained by adjusting positive tunable parameters. Combining with derivatives calculation and M -matrix-based comparison theory, proposed saturated control schemes are utilized to handle the considered system. Finally, an active magnetic bearing (AMB) system is revisited as an uncertain mechanical system and used to verify the feasibility of the proposed control designs.
