Abstract Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the diagnostic value of intrauterine 3-dimensional ultrasound and the functional characteristics of the intrauterine cavity for puerpera with intrauterine adhesions, and to explore the safety of pregnancy after treatment. A total of 102 puerperas with intrauterine adhesions were randomly selected, and intrauterine 3-dimensional ultrasound and 2-dimensional ultrasound were performed, respectively. Patients were followed up for 3 years to observe the pregnancy outcome and safety. The overall accuracy of diagnosing intrauterine adhesions through intrauterine 3-dimensional ultrasound was significantly higher than that through 2-dimensional ultrasound, and the accuracy of detecting mild intrauterine adhesions was significantly higher than that through 2-dimensional ultrasound, with statistically significant difference ( P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the accuracy between intrauterine 3-dimensional and 2-dimensional ultrasound in detecting moderate and severe intrauterine adhesions ( P > 0.05). The difference in missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis rates between the 2 methods was statistically significant ( P < 0.05). All patients received hysteroscopic surgery, and 78 cases (76.47%) were naturally fertilized during postoperative follow-up, including 24 cases of mature delivery, 45 cases of cesarean delivery, and 9 cases of spontaneous abortion. The intrauterine 3-dimensional ultrasound examination of the intrauterine cavity will provide intuitive and comprehensive diagnostic information for a parturient with intrauterine adhesion. Its detection accuracy is higher, and the clinical application is noninvasive and safe, which has certain guiding significance for treatment.

Abstract A feature of peripheral artery diseases (PAD) includes limb ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) and ischemia. Both I/R and ischemia amplify muscle afferent nerve-activated reflex sympathetic nervous and blood pressure responses (termed as exercise pressor reflex). Nevertheless, the underlying mechanisms responsible for the exaggerated autonomic responses in PAD are undetermined. Previous studies suggest that acid-sensing ion channels (ASICs) in muscle dorsal root ganglion (DRG) play a leading role in regulating the exercise pressor reflex in PAD. Thus, we determined if signaling pathways of nerve growth factor (NGF) contribute to the activities of ASICs in muscle DRG neurons of PAD. In particular, we examined ASIC1a and ASIC3 currents in isolectin B

Abstract Background: Ovarian cancer is the most common malignant tumor of the female reproductive system, and the survival rate of patients with relapsed and refractory ovarian cancer is very low.
Case summary: Here, we report a case of high-grade serous papillary adenocarcinoma of the ovary that was successfully treated with immunotherapy. Radical surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy for the 56-year-old patient were successful; however, her tumor relapsed. Subsequent second-line chemotherapy, targeted agents, and other treatments were ineffective, as the tumor continued to recur and metastasize. Anti-programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) monotherapy (tislelizumab) completely alleviated the tumor, and the multiple metastatic tumors disappeared. To date, the patient has used anti-PD-1 for 32 months, experiencing no disease progression and maintaining good health without additional treatment.
Conclusion: This case suggests that anti-PD-1 immunotherapy may have long-term positive effects on outcomes in some refractory recurrent solid tumors. Further research is needed to identify patients most likely to respond to anti-PD-1 therapy.

Abstract For the evolution of complex system, especially the unbalanced complex system, dynamic is its universal attribute. In this paper, by introducing the discrete dynamic system model in complex system research, a method of establishing the discrete dynamic system model of government human resources system is proposed from the vertical level. In this study, human resources were forecasted by the method of manpower/population ratio, linear regression and grey system, and the total number of health human resources in A city from 2018 to 2022 was forecasted by weighted average combination method. The results show that we should make great efforts to innovate the training mode of health personnel, improve the enthusiasm of staff, and reasonably control the expansion of hospitals.

Abstract Background: Recently, in addition to apoptosis and necrosis, several other forms of cell death have been discovered, such as necroptosis, autophagy, pyroptosis, and ferroptosis. These cell death modalities play diverse roles in kidney diseases. Pyroptosis is a newly described type of proinflammatory programmed necrosis. Further exploring pyroptosis is helpful to slow the progression of kidney diseases and reduce their complications.
Summary: Pyroptosis is mainly mediated by the cleavage of gasdermin D (GSDMD) along with downstream inflammasome activation. Activated caspase-1 induces the release of cytokines by cleaving GSDMD. Inflammation is a major pathogenic mechanism for kidney diseases. Increasing evidence corroborated that pyroptosis was closely related to the progression of renal diseases, including acute kidney injury, renal fibrosis, diabetic nephropathy, and kidney cancer. In this paper, we reviewed the role and the therapeutic treatment of pyroptosis in renal diseases.
Key messages: The better understanding of the progress and new intervention approaches of pyroptosis in kidney diseases may pave the way for new therapeutic opportunities in clinical practice.

Abstract Estrogen-related receptor β (ESRRB) is a member of the orphan nuclear receptor family and mediates stem cell self-renewal and early embryonic development. Previous studies have also reported that ESRRB plays a role in the development and progression of breast cancer and prostate cancer. In this study, we observed that ESRRB was highly expressed in cervical cancer and was associated with disease progression. Knocking out ESRRB using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing in cervical cancer cells induced cell-cycle arrest at the transition from the G0-G1 phase to the S phase, resulting in inhibition of cell proliferation in vitro and reduced tumor growth in vivo. Conversely, ectopic expression of ESRRB significantly promoted the proliferation of cervical cancer cells. ESRRB activated transcription of SMAD7, a TGFβ pathway inhibitor, which blocked phosphorylation and nuclear translocation of SMAD2/3 to the nucleus, thereby downregulating CDKN1A and upregulating CCNA2 and MYC. In turn, MYC transactivated ESRRB and upregulated SMAD7, thus forming a positive feedback loop with ESRRB. Together, these findings identify the tumor-promoting function of ESRRB in cervical cancer and reveal a mechanism by which ESRRB stimulates cell proliferation to promote cancer progression.
Significance: The ESRRB/SMAD7/MYC-positive feedback loop inhibits TGFβ signaling to activate cell-cycle progression and promote proliferation in cervical cancer, thereby driving tumor growth.

Abstract With the vigorous development of data mining field, more and more algorithms have been proposed or improved. How to quickly select a data mining algorithm that is suitable for data sets in medical field is a challenge for some medical workers. The purpose of this paper is to study the comparative characteristics of the general medical data set and the general data sets in other fields, and find the applicability rules of the data mining algorithm suitable for the characteristics of the current research data set. The study quantified characteristics of the research data set with 26 indicators, including simple indicators, statistical indicators and information theory indicators. Eight machine learning algorithms with high maturity, low user involvement and strong family representation were selected as the base algorithms. The algorithm performances were evaluated by three aspects: prediction accuracy, running speed and memory consumption. By constructing decision tree and stepwise regression model to learn the above metadata, the algorithm applicability knowledge of medical data set is obtained. Through cross-verification, the accuracy of all the algorithm applicability prediction models is above 75%, which proves the validity and feasibility of the applicability knowledge.

Abstract Hindlimb ischaemia-reperfusion (IR) is among the most prominent pathophysiological conditions observed in peripheral artery disease (PAD). An exaggerated arterial blood pressure (BP) response during exercise is associated with an elevated risk of cardiovascular events in individuals with PAD. However, the precise mechanisms leading to this exaggerated BP response are poorly elucidated. The P2X
