Abstract Abstract The continuous progress of multimedia technology in music educational institutions has led to the recognition of its importance in our country and society. The traditional approach to piano teaching has its limitations, which can be overcome by adopting alternative approaches to the instrument, using advances in science and technology. For pianist, expressing emotions and thoughts through music is crucial, and teachers can now use multimedia tools to exemplify their musical skills to students effectively. This manuscript proposes the Remote Piano Teaching Based on Attention-Induced Multi-Head Convolutional Neural Network Optimized with Hunter–Prey Optimization to improve the piano-teaching quality. At first, input data is taken from Piano Triad Wavset dataset. Afterward, the data are fed to preprocessing stage. The preprocessing stage involve data cleaning or scrubbing that is the process of identifying errors, inconsistencies, and incorrectness in a dataset with the help of adaptive distorted Gaussian matched filter. Then, the preprocessed output is fed to Attention-Induced Multi-Head Convolutional Neural Network (AIMCNN) for effectively predict the piano-teaching quality. The hunter–prey optimization (HPO) algorithm is proposed to optimize the parameters of Attention-Induced Multi-Head Convolutional Neural Network. The performance of the proposed technique is evaluated under performance metrics like accuracy, computational time, learning skill analysis, learning activity analysis, learning behavior analysis; student performance ratio and teaching evaluation analysis are evaluated. The proposed RPT-AIMCNN-HPO attains better prediction accuracy 12.566%, 12.075% and 15.993%, higher learning skill 15.86%, 15.26% and 16.25% compared with existing methods.

Abstract The integrated circuit (IC) industry's role in promoting sustained economic growth makes it highly valued by governments worldwide. Based on the late-mover advantage and market failure theories, this study demonstrates the importance of government intervention in industrial technological innovation. This study uses panel data from 81 A-share listed integrated circuit companies in China for 2011–2019 to analyze the effects and differences between the two most widely used policy tools, financial subsidies and tax incentives. The conclusion shows that financial subsidies inhibit technological innovation in the integrated circuit industry, while the promotion effect of tax incentives is weak. The robustness test also supported this conclusion. Further analysis shows that industry heterogeneity affects both policy tools. In terms of branches of the industrial chain, the policy effect of the core link is more significant than that of the support link. The inhibitory effect of financial subsidies is more obvious in the Pearl River Delta region, and the promotional effect of tax incentives is more pronounced outside the Pearl River Delta region. In addition, the current fiscal decentralization will hinder the promotion effect of the policy, and market competition will enhance the promotion effect of the policy. On the one hand, the research in this paper provides empirical evidence and policy reference for China to optimize fiscal policies related to the integrated circuit industry. On the other hand, a reference for development paths for late-mover countries is also provided in the early stage of industrialization.

Abstract This work provides a method(an algorithm) for solving the solvable unary algebraic equation $f(x)=0$ ($f(x)\in\mathbb{Q}[x]$) of arbitrary degree and obtaining the exact radical roots. This method requires that we know the Galois group as the permutation group of the roots of $f(x)$ and the approximate roots with sufficient precision beforehand. Of course, the approximate roots are not necessary but can help reduce the quantity of computation. The algorithm complexity is approximately proportional to the 4th power of the size of the Galois group of $f(x)$. The whole algorithm doesn't need to deal with tremendous polynomials or reduce symmetric polynomials.

Abstract Glaucoma is a common neurodegenerative disorder characterized by retinal ganglion cell death, astrocyte reactivity in the optic nerve, and vision loss. Currently, lowering the intraocular pressure (IOP) is the first-line treatment, but adjuvant neuroprotective approaches would be welcome. Vitamin C possesses neuroprotective activities that are thought to be related to its properties as a co-factor of enzymes and its antioxidant effects. Here, we show that vitamin C promotes a neuroprotective phenotype and increases gene expression related to neurotropic factors, phagocytosis, and mitochondrial ATP production. This effect is dependent on the up-regulation of secreted phosphoprotein 1 (SPP1) in reactive astrocytes via the transcription factor E2F1. SPP1

Abstract Aging causes an irreversible, cumulative decline in neuronal function. Using the visual system as a model, we show that astrocytes play a critical role in maintaining retinal ganglion cell health and that deletion of SPP1 (secreted phosphoprotein 1, or osteopontin) from astrocytes leads to increased vulnerability of ganglion cells to age, elevated intraocular pressure, and traumatic optic nerve damage. Overexpression of SPP1 slows the age-related decline in ganglion cell numbers and is highly protective of visual function in a mouse model of glaucoma. SPP1 acts by promoting phagocytosis and secretion of neurotrophic factors while inhibiting production of neurotoxic and pro-inflammatory factors. SPP1 up-regulates transcription of genes related to oxidative phosphorylation, functionally enhances mitochondrial respiration, and promotes the integrity of mitochondrial microstructure. SPP1 increases intracellular ATP concentration via up-regulation of VDAC1.

Abstract Placenta membranacea is an uncommon placental anomaly. Here, we present the case of a 30-year-old primiparous woman admitted for thickened placenta and reduced amniotic fluid. A follow-up ultrasound, performed after 48 h, revealed that the placental parenchyma was thin and not adequately visualized, enclosing a substantial volume of flowing blood (150 mm), with an amniotic fluid index of 18 mm. An emergency cesarean section was promptly performed. Following fetal delivery, a substantial accumulation of dark red blood within the fetal membranes created a "blood bag", estimated at approximately 3000 ml. This observation aligned with the ultrasound findings, and both placental morphology and pathological results substantiated the diagnosis of placenta membranacea.

Abstract The shield bug, Dolycoris baccarum (L.) (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae), is widely distributed across Asia and Europe. At high latitudes, it overwinters, as adult in diapause, which then becomes the insect source for the following year. To fully understand the developmental duration and diapause characteristics of D. baccarum, the effects of photoperiod and temperature were studied in a population from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China. The results indicated that the developmental duration was significantly prolonged at temperatures of 20 or 25 °C, with a prolonged light period; however, when the light period was prolonged to 16L:8D and 18L:6D, the developmental duration was shortened significantly. Furthermore, the developmental duration was also shortened significantly with increasing temperature, when the photoperiod was 12L:12D for short days and 16L:8D for long days. All individuals entered diapause under short-day conditions of 10L:14D and 12L:12D at a temperature of 20 °C; however, the diapause rate decreased significantly under 14L:10D and 16L:8D photoperiods, and the diapause rate decreased significantly at a temperature of 25 °C with prolonged photoperiod. Interestingly, when the photoperiod was fixed at 12L:12D, the diapause rates at different temperatures (20, 25, 28, and 30 °C) exceeded 95%; while the effect of temperature on diapauses was nonsignificant under this photoperiod, it was still sensitive to the photoperiod; at a photoperiod of 16L:8D, the effect of temperature on the diapause rate was noticeable, and the diapause rate decreased significantly with increasing temperature.
