Abstract Ghost imaging radar is a new system of gaze imaging radar with high detection sensitivity, super-resolution and better anti-interference performance, but the relative motion between the radar system and the target will make the target imaging deteriorate. This paper proposes to perform absolute position localisation of a single target in the field of view by weighting the correlation strength of a single frame image of rough target, and to compensate translation of the reference arm speckle according to the localisation and tracking trajectory to accumulate the rough image into a high quality image. The proposed correlation intensity weighted localization and tracking imaging method has been verified by simulation to be able to locate and image targets in the field of view well.

Abstract Background: To analyze the efficacy of stereotactic ablative brachytherapy (SABT) and percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) for the treatment of early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
Methods: Patients with early-stage (T1-T2aN0M0) NSCLC who underwent CT-guided SABT or MWA between October 2014 and March 2017 at four medical centers were retrospectively analyzed. Survival, treatment response, and procedure-related complications were assessed.
Results: A total of 83 patients were included in this study. The median follow-up time was 55.2 months (range 7.2-76.8 months). The 1-, 3-, and 5-year overall survival (OS) rates were 96.4%, 82.3%, and 68.4% for the SABT group (n = 28), and 96.4%, 79.7%, and 63.2% for MWA group (n = 55), respectively. The 1-, 3-, and 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) rates were 92.9%, 74.6%, and 54.1% for SABT, and 92.7%, 70.5%, and 50.5% for MWA, respectively. There were no significant differences between SABT and MWA in terms of OS (p = 0.631) or DFS (p = 0.836). The recurrence rate was also similar between the two groups (p = 0.809). No procedure-related deaths occurred. Pneumothorax was the most common adverse event in the two groups, with no significant difference. No radiation pneumonia was found in the SABT group.
Conclusions: SABT provided similar efficacy to MWA for the treatment of stage I NSCLC. SABT may be a treatment option for unresectable early-stage NSCLC. However, future prospective randomized studies are required to verify these results.

Abstract Building a harmonious relationship between human society and river ecosystems has attracted much attention from both government officials and the academy community. Based on the perspective of social-ecological systems (SES), taking the Carp Brook (located in northern Fujian Province, China) as an example, the construction and maintenance of a time-honored artificial river ecosystem was investigated, and its ecosystem services were analyzed. Findings show that the Carp Brook was constructed through a series of ecological engineering, including a transformation of the river channel, building a stable habitat, and breeding carps. The carps have been protected effectively by some folk customs, such as village regulations and folk belief. Meanwhile, the water quality has been maintained through some engineering and institutional measures, which were completed by the local government and villagers. Furthermore, some cultural elements with local characteristics have been formed during the long years of coexistence between human society and the Carp Brook. Based on a healthy ecosystem and abundant culture elements, the Carp Brook provided continuous ecosystem services to human society for more than 800 years, including regulation services (e.g., water purification and flood control) and cultural services (e.g., tourism, research and education, inspiration). Major enlightenments from the Carp Brook are: (a) the Chinese traditional view of nature is important for the construction and maintenance of an artificial ecosystem; (b) traditional folk customs have a strong binding force regarding the protection of the ecosystem; and (c) the choice between material and immaterial services should be made carefully.

Abstract Background: Shugan Lidan Xiaoshi granules (SLXG) is a herbal granule formulation developed by extensively modifying multiple traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions known for their ability to dissolve stones. It is primarily used for the prevention and treatment of cholelithiasis and possesses significant therapeutic potential in both preventing and treating acute pancreatitis. However, the preventive effects of SLXG on cholelithiasis-related complications, such as acute pancreatitis (AP), have been inadequately researched.
Methods: TCMSP database was searched to identify the active components and targets of SLXG's action. The disease gene databases (GeneCards, OMMI, PharmGKB, DrugBank) were used to retrieve the targets associated with AP. A TCM ingredient target network was then constructed by using the intersection of these two datasets. The overlapping targets underwent network analyses, including Gene Ontology (GO), Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG)and Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) analyses. Molecular docking was performed to examine the interaction patterns between the active ingredients and central targets.
Results: A "Traditional Chinese Medicine-Component-Target" complex network consisting of 10 traditional Chinese medicines, 114 compounds, and 164 targets was constructed. GO and KEGG analysis showed that SLXG has the potential to regulate the response of oxygen-containing compounds, apoptosis, and inflammatory factors. Nine central genes were identified by the PPI network and subnetwork. IL6 was chosen as the most significant gene for molecular docking. The three active compounds of SLXG: quercetin, luteolin, and paeoniflorin, along with the active site of IL6 have a good binding ability and thus play a preventive role in AP.
Conclusion: This study provides evidence of the effective preventive role of SLXG against AP, as indicated by bioinformatics analysis. The preventive effect of SLXG is attributed to its multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway mechanisms. This finding provides a solid foundation for future research on the clinical application and mechanism of action of drugs.

Abstract Atomic thick two-dimensional (2D) materials with exciting physical, chemical, and electronic properties are gaining increasing attention in next-generation science and technology, showing great promise in catalysis and energy science. However, the precise design and synthesis of efficient catalytic systems based on such materials still face many difficulties, especially in how to control the preparation of structurally determined, highly active, atomic-scale distribution of material systems. Here, we report that a highly active zerovalent osmium single-atom-layer with a thickness of single atom size has been successfully and controllably self-organized on the surface of 2D graphdiyne (GDY) material. Detailed characterizations showed that the incomplete charge transfer effect between the Os atoms and GDY not only stabilized the catalytic system but also improved the intrinsic activity, making the Gibbs free energy reach the best and resulting in remarkable performance with a small overpotential of 49 mV at 500 mA cm

Abstract Background: The treatment for lung oligometastasis from colorectal cancer (CRC) remains challenging. This retrospective study aimed to compare the local tumor control, survival and procedure-related complications in CRC patients undergoing low-dose rate stereotactic ablative brachytherapy (L-SABT) versus percutaneous microwave ablation (MWA) for lung oligometastasis.
Methods: Patients between November 2017 and December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Local tumor progression-free survival (LTPFS) and overall survival (OS) were analyzed in the entire cohort as well as by stratified analysis based on the minimal ablation margin (MAM) around the tumor.
Results: The final analysis included 122 patients: 74 and 48 in the brachytherapy and MWA groups, respectively, with a median follow-up of 30.5 and 35.3 months. The 1- and 3-year LTPFS rate was 54.1% and 40.5% in the brachytherapy group versus 58.3% and 41.7% in the MWA group (P = 0.524 and 0.889, respectively). The 1- and 3-year OS rate was 75.7% and 48.6% versus 75.0% and 50.0% (P = 0.775 and 0.918, respectively). Neither LTPFS nor OS differed significantly between the patients with MAM of 5-10 mm versus > 10 mm. Pulmonary complication rate did not differ in the overall analysis, but was significantly higher in the MWA group in the subgroup analysis that only included patients with lesion within 10 mm from the key structures (P = 0.005). The increased complications was primarily bronchopleural fistula.
Conclusions: Considering the caveats associated with radioisotope use in L-SABT, MWA is generally preferable. In patients with lesion within 10 mm from the key pulmonary structures, however, L-SABT could be considered as an alternative due to lower risk of bronchopleural fistula.
