Abstract This paper proposes a fluid classifier for a tight reservoir using a quantum neural network (QNN). It is difficult to identify the fluid in tight reservoirs, and the manual interpretation of logging data, which is an important means to identify the fluid properties, has the disadvantages of a low recognition rate and non-intelligence, and an intelligent algorithm can better identify the fluid. For tight reservoirs, the logging response characteristics of different fluid properties and the sensitivity and relevance of well log parameter and rock physics parameters to fluid identification are analyzed, and different sets of input parameters for fluid identification are constructed. On the basis of quantum neural networks, a new method for combining sample quantum state descriptions, sensitivity analysis of input parameters, and wavelet activation functions for optimization is proposed. The results of identifying the dry layer, gas layer, and gas-water co-layer in the tight reservoir in the Sichuan Basin of China show that different input parameters and activation functions affect recognition performance. The proposed quantum neural network based on hybrid parameters and a wavelet activation function has higher fluid identification accuracy than the original quantum neural network model, indicating that this method is effective and warrants promotion and application.

Abstract With increasing concerns about climate change and resource-environmental limitations, the green development of the mining industry has become mainstream and gained much support. Driven by the concept of sustainable and green development, China has made the advancement of green mine construction a crucial part of establishing an eco-society and has put forward the overall goal of green mines. An important future strategy is to evaluate a large number of mines. However, developing scientific, reliable, and comprehensive index systems and evaluation methods is extremely difficult because of the objective complexity of green mine evaluation and the fuzziness of some indicators. The kernel method and intuitionistic fuzzy set can effectively handle these problems. This study proposed a comprehensive evaluation index system and a hybrid evaluation method based on the kernel distance measure and intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS method. The index system contains 22 indicators considering six aspects: mining area environment, resource development mode, comprehensive utilization of resources, energy saving and emission reduction, technical innovation, and corporation management. The hybrid evaluation method was applied to the practical assessment of ten green mines in Panxi, China. Comparative analyses were carried out to demonstrate its applicability and sensitivity. The results verify that the hybrid method can fully depict the construction achievements of green mines in all aspects with strong reliability and stability. This approach is a valuable reference for evaluators and decision-makers in government departments.

Abstract Background: Identifying moral behavior in complex situations is the key ability for children to develop prosocial behavior. The theory of mind (ToM) and empathy provide the cognition and emotional motivation required for the development of moral sensitivity. In this study, we investigated the associations among ToM, empathy, and moral sensitivity and explored the possible differences between Chinese preschool children aged 4 and 5 years.
Methods: One hundred and thirty children completed the unexpected-content and change-of-location tasks as well as questionnaires about empathy and moral sensitivity individually. A one-way analysis of variance and the multi-group mediation SEM were used to examine the associations of the three variables and age differences.
Results: The scores of 5-year-old children in the dimensions of care, fairness, authority, and sanctity and the total score were higher than those of 4-year-old children. Moral sensitivity was positively correlated with both ToM and empathy after we controlled for verbal IQ and gender. Multigroup mediation analyses showed age-based differences in the associations among moral sensitivity, ToM, and empathy. Empathy's mediation effect was partial among 4-year-old children and complete among 5-year-old children.
Conclusions: These findings contribute to understanding the cognitive and emotional factors in the formation of children's moral sensitivity. They also point to a promising approach to promoting the development of moral sensitivity and evidence for educators to understand the process of children's socialization.

Abstract In this review, motivated by the recent interest in high-temperature materials, we review our recent progress in theories of lattice dynamics in and out of equilibrium. To investigate thermodynamic properties of anharmonic crystals, the self-consistent phonon theory was developed, mainly in the 1960s, for rare gas atoms and quantum crystals. We have extended this theory to investigate the properties of the equilibrium state of a crystal, including its unit cell shape and size, atomic positions and lattice dynamical properties. Using the equation-of-motion method combined with the fluctuation-dissipation theorem and the Donsker-Furutsu-Novikov (DFN) theorem, this approach was also extended to investigate the non-equilibrium case where there is heat flow across a junction or an interface. The formalism is a classical one and therefore valid at high temperatures.

Abstract Hybrid nanomaterial film consisting of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) and graphene nanoplatelet (GNP) were deposited on a highly flexible polyimide (PI) substrate using spray gun. The hybridization between 2-D GNP and 1-D MWCNT reduces stacking among the nanomaterials and produces a thin film with a porous structure. Carbon-based nanomaterials of MWCNT and GNP with high electrical conductivity can be employed to detect the deformation and damage for structural health monitoring. The strain sensing capability of carbon-based hybrid nanomaterial film was evaluated by its piezoresistive behavior, which correlates the change of electrical resistance with the applied strain through a tensile test. The effects of weight ratio between MWCNT and GNP and the total amount of hybrid nanomaterials on the strain sensitivity of the nanomaterial thin film were investigated. Experimental results showed that both the electrical conductivity and strain sensitivity of the hybrid nanomaterial film increased with the increase of the GNP contents. The gauge factor used to characterize the strain sensitivity of the nanomaterial film increased from 7.75 to 24 as the GNP weight ratio increased from 0 wt.% to 100 wt.%. In this work, a simple, low cost, and easy to implement deposition process was proposed to prepare a highly flexible nanomaterial film. A high strain sensitivity with gauge factor of 24 was achieved for the nanomaterial thin film.

Abstract Over the past decades, the synthetic glucocorticoids (GCs) have been widely used in clinical practice and animal husbandry. Given the health hazard of these toxic residues in food, it is necessary to explore the detailed interaction mechanisms of typical GCs and their main target glucocorticoid receptor (GR). Hence, this work compared the GR binding and agonist activities of typical GCs. Fluorescence polarization assay showed that these GCs were potent ligands of GR. Their GR binding affinities were in the order of methylprednisolone>betamethasone≈prednisolone>dexamethasone, with IC

Abstract Previous studies have reported mixed findings on how and why unethical behavior affects self-esteem. To address this issue, a contingent dual-process model is proposed and tested. The model postulates a negative impact of unethical behavior on self-esteem through decreased morality, a positive effect through increased competence, and the relative strength of these two paths depending on system-justifying motives. Studies using unethical behavior for self-interest (Studies 1 and 2), involving ingroup interest (Study 3), and measuring (Studies 1 and 3) and manipulating general system justification (Study 2) provide support for the model. By identifying the effects of system-justifying motives and linking the two competing paths, the model reconciles inconsistencies in previous research regarding how self-esteem is influenced by unethical behavior and reveals the underlying mechanism of this association. Accordingly, the current research constructs a motivational and superordinate framework to clarify the dynamic consequences of unethical behavior.
