Abstract In Gansu Province, China, Wuwei City is an ecologically fragile migration area at the intersection of the Loess Plateau, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and the Mongolia-New Plateau. Using the Triangular Fuzzy TOPSIS method and the obstacle factor diagnostic model, the implementation performance and follow-up support issues of the Ecological Resettlement Project were analyzed from the perspective of the eco-migrant and the public value theory. In contrast to traditional performance appraisal methods, Triangular Fuzzy TOPSIS breaks through the ambiguity of complex environments and subjective information and effectively quantifies the fuzziness of evaluator language variables to improve the validity. The overall performance of the Ecological Resettlement Project in Wuwei is good; the average closeness degree of process is higher than outcome. Migrants rated the fairness of the project as the highest, followed by support, economic outcome, and satisfaction. Gulang County’s performance in the Ecological Resettlement Project is the best, followed by Tianzhu County and Liangzhou District. Project obstacles were mostly related to the outcome dimension, especially the ecological restoration and management, the return to poverty risk, and industrial development on the resettlement site. The main obstacle to the process dimension is migrant satisfaction with government subsidies. Research results provide case study support and experience inspiration for migrant relocation models and their long-term livelihood improvement in the context of rural revitalization.

Abstract Vivianite plays an important role in alleviating the phosphorus crisis and phosphorus pollution. The dissimilatory iron reduction has been found to trigger the biosynthesis of vivianite in soil environments, but the mechanism behind this remains largely unexplored. Herein, by regulating the crystal surfaces of iron oxides, we explored the influence of different crystal surface structures on the synthesis of vivianite driven by microbial dissimilatory iron reduction. The results showed that different crystal faces significantly affect the reduction and dissolution of iron oxides by microorganisms and the subsequent formation of vivianite. In general, goethite is more easily reduced by Geobacter sulfurreducens than hematite. Compared with Hem_{100} and Goe_L{110}, Hem_{001} and Goe_H{110} have higher initial reduction rates (approximately 2.25 and 1.5 times, respectively) and final Fe(II) content (approximately 1.56 and 1.20 times, respectively). In addition, in the presence of sufficient PO 4 3− , Fe(II) combined to produce phosphorus crystal products. The final phosphorus recoveries of Hem_{001} and Goe_H{110} systems were about 5.2 and 13.6%, which were 1.3 and 1.6 times of those of Hem_{100} and Goe_L{110}, respectively. Material characterization analyses indicated that these phosphorous crystal products are vivianite and that different iron oxide crystal surfaces significantly affected the size of the vivianite crystals. This study demonstrates that different crystal faces can affect the biological reduction dissolution of iron oxides and the secondary biological mineralization process driven by dissimilatory iron reduction.

Abstract Objective. To explore the value of machine learning-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) liver acceleration volume acquisition (LAVA) dynamic enhanced scanning for diagnosing hilar lesions. Methods. A total of 90 patients with hilar lesions and 130 patients without hilar lesions who underwent multiphase dynamic enhanced MRI LAVA were retrospectively selected as the study subjects. The 10-fold crossover method was used to establish the data set, 7/10 (154 cases) data were used to establish the training set, and 3/10 (66 cases) data were used to establish the validation set to verify the model. The region of interest was extracted from MRI images using radiomics, and the hilar lesion model was constructed based on a convolutional neural network. Results. There were significant differences in respiration and pulse frequency between patients with hilar lesions and without hilar lesions (P <0.05). The subjective scores of the images in the first three phases of dynamic enhanced scanning in the training set were higher than those in the validation set (P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the training and validation set in the last three phases of dynamic enhanced scanning. Conclusion. Machine learn-based MRI LAVA dynamic enhanced scanning for diagnosing hilar lesions has high diagnostic efficiency and can be used as an auxiliary diagnostic method.

Abstract The Pastureland Rehabilitation Program (PRP) has been implemented for nearly 20 years, and the lives of herders in different regions have been affected to varying degrees. The level of people’s well-being could measure the success of policy. Taking Maduo County as an example, the life satisfaction of 266 Tibetan herders was investigated through a participatory questionnaire survey in July 2021. Multiple linear regression and optimal scale regression were constructed to analyze the impact of the satisfaction of different aspects of life and PRP on life satisfaction, respectively. The results show that the herders in Maduo County had relative high satisfaction in various aspects of life and overall life, and leisure and consumption were important aspects influencing life satisfaction. The relative living standard, the difficulty in borrowing and the quality of government services had a significant positive impact on herders’ life satisfaction. Occupation and migration location also led to the significant differences of life satisfaction. However, the income changes caused by PRP and subsidy levels did not show a significant impact. We discussed the particularity of Maduo County and suggested that more attention should be paid to the improvement of the social environment such as wealth disparity, channels of assistance, working environment, and the effective assistance formulated according to the demands of different groups needs to be optimized continuously, so as to enhance the self-development ability of herders.

Abstract To analyze the application value of CT-enhanced scanning based on artificial intelligence algorithm in the diagnosis of gastric cancer and gastric lymphoma, the CT images of 80 patients with Borrmann type IV gastric cancer or primary gastric lymphoma diagnosed by endoscopic pathology were retrospectively collected. Meanwhile, a lymph node recognition algorithm based on OTSU threshold segmentation was proposed for CT image processing. The results showed that the missed diagnosis rate of suspected lymph nodes and the missed lymph node detection rate of this algorithm were substantially lower than those of other algorithms (P<0.05). The probability of gastric wall motility disappearance, perigastric fat infiltration, and type A enhancement pattern in the Borrmann type IV gastric cancer group was higher than that in the gastric lymphoma group, with remarkable differences (P<0.05). There was no remarkable difference between the Borrmann type IV gastric cancer group and the gastric lymphoma group in the probability of swollen lymph nodes under the renal hilum (P>0.05). In addition, 5the sensitivity (83.17%), specificity (95.52%), and accuracy (93.08%) of the combined detection of the three CT signs (stomach wall motility, perigastric fat infiltration, and enhancement mode) were substantially improved compared with those of a single sign (P<0.05). To sum up, the lymph node recognition algorithm based on OTSU threshold segmentation had better performance in detecting gastric lymph nodes than traditional algorithms. The CT image characteristics of gastric wall motility, perigastric fat infiltration, and enhancement pattern based on artificial intelligence algorithms were effective indicators for distinguishing gastric cancer and gastric lymphoma.

Abstract Aerosol loading and cloud cover can alter the composition of radiation reaching the Earth’s surface and affect the ecosystem’s carbon cycle. In this study, we established an empirical model of the diffuse radiation fraction (Kd) based on a clearness index (Kt) to obtain the Kd of four FLUXNET forest sites in China. We focused on the relationships among the Kd, photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), light-use efficiency (LUE) and gross primary productivity (GPP) through mechanistic analysis. The relationships between carbon fluxes [including GPP, ecosystem respiration (ER), and net ecosystem exchange (NEE)] and the Kd were explored. Furthermore, we investigated the influence of environmental factors on carbon fluxes. The results showed that the Kd models were accurate in estimating Kd (R2= 0.88–0.93). Overall, the GPP first increased and then decreased with increasing Kd. When Kd< Ko (Ko, the diffuse radiation fraction corresponding to the maximum value of GPP), the direct PAR decreased as Kd increased, while the diffuse PAR increased rapidly. At this stage, the diffuse fertilization effect led to an increase in GPP. When Ko<Kd<Kdiff-max (Kdiff-max, the diffuse radiation fraction corresponding to the maximum value of diffuse PAR), as Kd increased the direct PAR still decreased and the diffuse PAR still increased, but the GPP declined. When Kd>Kdiff-max, the diffuse PAR began to decrease, and the reduction in the superimposed direct PAR caused the GPP of the canopy to drop rapidly. The LUE of the vegetation canopy was higher under diffuse light conditions than under direct light. Furthermore, with an increase in the Kd, the negative value change of the NEE was consistent with the GPP, but the ER was less affected by the Kd. Finally, the impact of temperature (TA) and vapor pressure deficit (VPD) on the GPP was unimodal, and the impact on the NEE was U-shaped. In addition, latent heat (LE) had a significant positive effect on GPP and NEE. Our study emphasized the relationship between the change in ...

Abstract As a security defense technique to protect networks from attacks, a network intrusion detection model plays a crucial role in the security of computer systems and networks. Aiming at the shortcomings of a complex feature extraction process and insufficient information extraction of the existing intrusion detection models, an intrusion detection model named the FCNN-SE, which uses the fusion convolutional neural network (FCNN) for feature extraction and stacked ensemble (SE) for classification, is proposed in this paper. The proposed model mainly includes two parts, feature extraction and feature classification. Multi-dimensional features of traffic data are first extracted using convolutional neural networks of different dimensions and then fused into a network traffic dataset. The heterogeneous base learners are combined and used as a classifier, and the obtained network traffic dataset is fed to the classifier for final classification. The comprehensive performance of the proposed model is verified through experiments, and experimental results are evaluated using a comprehensive performance evaluation method based on the radar chart method. The comparison results on the NSL-KDD dataset show that the proposed FCNN-SE has the highest overall performance among all compared models, and a more balanced performance than the other models.

Abstract This study explored the association of the affective experience (AE) of life events on hopelessness depression (HD). Undergraduates (N = 301) participating in a 12-week prospective study completed measures of HD, cognitive style, and psychological stress. The results indicate AE is an underlying mechanism influencing the longitudinal link between life events and HD. Negative life events with clear negative AE directly promoted the development of HD. Positive life events with clear positive AE directly impeded the development of HD. Neutral life events with mixed AE directly and interacting with negative cognitive style promoted the development of HD. The results should increase understanding of the hopelessness theory of depression, and suggest that neutral life events should be important elements in depression therapy.

Abstract Abstract Atmospheric fine particulate matter (PM2.5) pollutions are of particular concern because of their direct and indirect harm to humans and organisms. China has suffered from severe air pollution for the past ten years, related to heavy pollution emissions and compounded by the effects of atmospheric circulation. This study applied statistical methods, observational data of ground pollutants, and meteorological data to analyze the impact of large-scale atmospheric circulations on PM2.5 pollution over China. Empirical orthogonal function (EOF) analysis was used to evaluate the main PM2.5 patterns and total contributions of the leading four EOFs. The results indicate that the total contributions of the leading four EOFs accounted for 50.5% of the total variance, reflecting four main types of PM2.5 pollution, namely, overall pollution phase, north–south phase, east–west phase and north–center–south phase, with contributions of 28.4%, 9.7%, 6.5% and 5.9%, respectively. We selected indices of the Asian Polar Vortex (APV) to analyze the impact of large-scale atmospheric circulations on PM2.5 pollution over China. The most pronounced APV control occurred in Beijing and its surroundings, specifically, along the Bohai Sea and the Northeast Plain.
