    Abstract The aim of this study was to describe the experiences of post-sedation COVID-19 patients in rehabilitation. Eleven Israeli men and women were interviewed in semi-structured interviews. They were patients recovering in a neurological rehabilitation unit from severe COVID-19 post-mechanical ventilation and sedation. Five themes were generated through thematic analysis: "an unexpected turn of events," "filling the gaps," "emotional reactions," "ambiguity regarding medical condition," and "sense and meaning-making." Findings suggest a need for improved communication between patients and medical staff to enhance a sense of control and coherence. Psychological support should be considered to facilitate sense and meaning-making processes during hospitalization.

    Abstract Research has demonstrated that Parkinson's disease can have adverse psychological effects on caregivers. Very few studies have focused on the experiences of spouses who are not primary caregivers or who do not identify as primary caregivers. The aim of this study was to explore the experiences of spouses who are not primary caregivers or do not identify as primary caregivers. Twelve Israeli women, spouses of men with Parkinson's disease, were interviewed using a semi-structured in-depth approach. Thematic analysis revealed five themes: before diagnosis, at diagnosis, after diagnosis, interpersonal ways of coping, and intrapersonal ways of coping. A dynamic of oscillation between confronting and avoiding losses was indicated. Non-death losses were mostly unacknowledged among spouses' social circles. Results were interpreted in the context of grieving processes after diagnosis. Findings suggest a need for psychological interventions aimed at creating safe spaces for spouses to engage in a grieving process after diagnosis.

    Abstract Aim: To assess the role of obstructive sleep apnea and other cardiovascular (CV) risk factors in the development of the antihypertensive therapy (AHT) efficacy "escape" phenomenon in patients with arterial hypertension (AH).
    Materials and methods: The data of 75 patients with AH stage I-II, grades 1-3 were proceeded. All patients included in the study underwent night respiratory monitoring. After AHT prescription, blood pressure (BP) was monitored by three measurement methods (office, daily monitoring and self-control of blood pressure) - initially, in 1, 3 and 6 months after the inclusion - in order to confirm the initial therapy efficacy and to identify or exclude the "escape" phenomenon.
    Results: In 36.0% of patients, the "escape" phenomenon was diagnosed in 1 or 3 months of observation. When comparing the group with the "escape" phenomenon, an initially higher level of systolic BP was revealed according to office measurements, 24-hour monitoring and self-control BP monitoring (134.0±4.7 mmHg vs 126.0±8.5 mmHg; 129.0±2.3 mmHg vs 121.0±7.7 mmHg; 131.0±8.2 mmHg vs 121.5±6.2 mmHg resp.;
    Conclusion: The higher BP level in patients with lover nocturnal hypoxemia does not allow us to exclude the delayed negative impact of obstructive sleep apnea, especially severe, on the BP profile in case of initially successful AH control.

    Abstract This study aims to extend our knowledge regarding attitudes toward euthanasia. Specifically, the effect of patient's age and illness type. 123 participants were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 groups completed the Assessing Right to Die Attitudes (ARDA) questionnaire after reading a patients age (79 vs. 29 year old) and illness type (cancer vs. depression) description. Findings revealed more positive attitudes toward euthanasia when the patient was physically ill, as opposed to mentally ill. Participants' attitude towards euthanasia was more positive when the patient was elderly. Illness type as a function of the patient's age did not significantly influence attitudes towards euthanasia. The results of the current study reinforce the individual influence of illness type and of patient age on attitudes toward euthanasia, and suggest additional avenues for further research regarding their combined influence.

    Abstract This research presents a comprehensive methodology for utilizing an ontology-driven structured prompts system in interplay with ChatGPT, a widely used large language model (LLM). The study develops formal models, both information and functional, and establishes the methodological foundations for integrating ontology-driven prompts with ChatGPT's meta-learning capabilities. The resulting productive triad comprises the methodological foundations, advanced information technology, and the OntoChatGPT system, which collectively enhance the effectiveness and performance of chatbot systems. The implementation of this technology is demonstrated using the Ukrainian language within the domain of rehabilitation. By applying the proposed methodology, the OntoChatGPT system effectively extracts entities from contexts, classifies them, and generates relevant responses. The study highlights the versatility of the methodology, emphasizing its applicability not only to ChatGPT but also to other chatbot systems based on LLMs, such as Google's Bard utilizing the PaLM 2 LLM. The underlying principles of meta-learning, structured prompts, and ontology-driven information retrieval form the core of the proposed methodology, enabling their adaptation and utilization in various LLM-based systems. This versatile approach opens up new possibilities for NLP and dialogue systems, empowering developers to enhance the performance and functionality of chatbot systems across different domains and languages.

    Abstract The paper deals with monitoring results of phytoplankton, zooplankton and zoobenthos of the Sheksna reservoir, lakes Kubenskoye and Vozhe in Vologda Oblast in 2018–2022. The highest biomass of algae was recorded in lake Beloye (10.1 g/m3 ). In other water bodies, the average biomass made up 6.3–7.3 g/m3 . Diatom and cyanobacteria dominated in phytoplankton: diatom number was maximum in the river part of the Sheksna Reservoir, while cyanobacteria – in lake Beloye. Highly abundant Aphanizomenon flos-aquae induced annual water bloom of lake Beloye. Density of zooplankton was the greatest in Vozhe (131 thous. ind./m3 , 3.5 g/m3 ). Similar average biomass of zooplankton was noted in different parts of the Sheksna Reservoir (2.0 g/m3 ). In lake Kubenskoye, biomass reached 0.9 g/m3 . Copepoda formed the base of zooplankton number and cladocera – of biomass. In contrast to lake Vozhe (2.6 g/m2 ), zoobenthos in lake Kubenskoye was highly abundant (7.6 g/m2 ). The average biomass of zoobenthos in the Sheksna Reservoir accounted for 4–5 g/m2 . The dominant complex of zoobenthos included oligochaeta Limnodrilus hoffmeisteri, Tubifex newaensis, T. tubifex in all water bodies; chironomid larvae Chironomus sp., Procladius sp. – in the open sites; chironomids Endochironomus albipennis, Glyptotendipes gripekoveni, Cricotopus gr. sylvestris – in thickets. Chironomidae dominated in the Sheksna Reservoir and lake Vozhe, oligochaeta – in lake Kubenskoye.
