    Abstract There are many methods to treat keloid, including various excision operations, laser, injection and radiotherapy. However, few studies have explored the effectiveness of single-hole punch excision in keloid treatment. This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of lateral punch excision combined with intralesional steroid injection for keloid treatment through self-control trial. In this self-controlled trial, 50 patients meet the diagnosis of nodular keloid, and try to choose left-right symmetrical control, one skin lesion in the control group (50 skin lesionsin total) and the other in the observation group (50 skin lesions in total).The keloids in the treatment group were initially treated with punch excision combined with intralesional steroid injection, followed by injection treatment alone. Keloids in the control group received intralesional steroid injection alone. The Vancouver Scar Scale (VSS) of the keloid before and after the punch excision was evaluated; the keloid scores at different time points and the number of injection treatments required in both groups were compared, and adverse reactions were observed. The effective rate of the observation group was 86.0%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (66.0%), and the recurrence rate of 22% was lower than that of the control group (χ

    Abstract Clean and efficient extraction and separation of precious metals from discarded Pb-Sn alloy is critical to the sustainable utilization of solid waste resources. Dense oxide layer and compact alloy texture in the waste Pb-Sn alloy pose challenges to the effective leaching process.     Abstract Ion precipitation flotation technology was demonstrated to be an efficient method for the separation of valuable metals from low-concentration solution. However, the selective separation of three metals from mixing solution is a great challenge, and highly selective reagents are the key to polymetallic separation. In this work, stepwise separation of Co and Zn from the simulated zinc hydrometallurgy wastewater containing ternary Co-Zn-Mn metals by ion precipitation flotation process was proposed. It's demonstrated that organic reagents of 1-nitroso-2-naphthol (NN) and sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate (SDDC) had excellent selectivity for the capture of Co and Zn to form respective precipitate from wastewaters via the chelation reactions. After precipitation, dodecylpyridinium chloride (DPC) and tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide (TTAB) were chosen as surfactants for the separation of Co and Zn sediments from the solution via the flotation process. The effects of solution pH, molar ratio, reaction temperature, and reaction time on the selective precipitation efficiencies of Co and Zn as well as the effects of surfactant dosage and flotation gas velocity on the flotation separation efficiencies were systematically investigated. It's demonstrated that the comprehensive recovery rates of Co, Mn, and Zn reach 98%, 90%, and 99%, respectively.     Abstract Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA), abundant in chia seed oil, are useful polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) with numerous health benefits. The objectives of the present study were to explore the optimum extraction condition of chia seed oil and the possibilities of direct analysis of ALA and LA in chia seed oil by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection (RP-HPLC-UV). The optimized chia seed oil extraction condition was set by the usage of Soxhlet extrator with hexane as a solvent, with the solvent to solid ratio of 8 and the extraction time of 8 h. Prior to HPLC-UV analysis, the oil was saponified in order to get the free fatty acids for detection. The results showed that the proposed HPLC-UV method allowed the quantification of ALA and LA in chia seed oil. The method was simple, rapid (within 18 min) and sensitive (limit of detection 0.006 mg/mL for ALA and 0.02 mg/mL for LA) and precise (RSD ≤ 2%). Thus, the proposed experimental designs were shown to offer considerable advantages over traditional derivatization approaches in the ALA and LA analyses.

    Abstract LiDAR-based 3D object detection and panoptic segmentation are two crucial tasks in the perception systems of autonomous vehicles and robots. In this paper, we propose All-in-One Perception Network (AOP-Net), a LiDAR-based multi-task framework that combines 3D object detection and panoptic segmentation. In this method, a dual-task 3D backbone is developed to extract both panoptic- and detection-level features from the input LiDAR point cloud. Also, a new 2D backbone that intertwines Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) and convolution layers is designed to further improve the detection task performance. Finally, a novel module is proposed to guide the detection head by recovering useful features discarded during down-sampling operations in the 3D backbone. This module leverages estimated instance segmentation masks to recover detailed information from each candidate object. The AOP-Net achieves state-of-the-art performance for published works on the nuScenes benchmark for both 3D object detection and panoptic segmentation tasks. Also, experiments show that our method easily adapts to and significantly improves the performance of any BEV-based 3D object detection method.

    Abstract Solar radiation is a key factor influencing the photosynthesis and transpiration of trees. In mountainous regions, solar radiation income exhibits strong spatial heterogeneity due to topographical variations and the structural complexity of the forest. However, how the solar radiation income of individual trees in different social positions varies with slope position remains unclear. In this study, the daily solar radiation of the horizontal ground (Rₕ), different slope positions (i.e., at different locations on a hillslope, Rₛ) and individual trees with different social positions in the forest (Rᵢ) were monitored from May to October in 2020 and 2021. The daily solar radiation income of a single hillslope (Rf) was applied to quantify the Rₛ response to the slope and aspect (i.e., slope effect) and the shade from the opposite mountain (i.e., shaded terrain effect). Our results showed that the Rf was 27.8% lower than Rₕ due to the slope effect of the sample slope. In the different slope positions, 2.7%–46.9% of solar radiation was lost due to the shaded terrain effect. A stronger limitation of Rₛ by the shaded terrain effect was detected on the bottom slope compared to that of the upper slope. The better the social position of an individual tree (i.e., tree dominance (Dom) and the distance between trees (D)), the more solar radiation it received, ranging from 22.4 to 95.3%. The dominant factor contributing to changes in Rᵢ was slope position followed by D and Dom and, finally, Rₕ. These results provide an important basis for understanding the role of topography and tree social positions in solar radiation income in mountainous regions. Forest management measures should be varied with slope positions in mountainous regions, and forest density (i.e., distance between trees) should be considered as a key factor to optimize the forest functions.
