Abstract Introduction: Transseptal punctures (TSPs) are widely used in left atrium and left ventricle surgery. Accidental puncture of the puncture needle into the aorta is a rare complication that is rarely reported but has serious consequences. The appropriate management of this complication remains unclear.
Patient concerns: This report describes a case of a male with the chief complaint: paroxysmal palpitation for 1 year, aggravated for 1 month.
Diagnosis: The electrophysiological diagnosis was atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia caused by left-side bypass.
Interventions: Radiofrequency ablation of the heart was a necessary treatment and a TSP operation was needed, in which a puncture was mistakenly believed to have entered the aorta, a series of measures were taken urgently. Although the surgical procedure in this case was a false alarm, we still initiated a series of emergency plans. Emergency measures to address the complications were effectively implemented, and the emergency measures were promptly terminated after it was clear that complications had been misjudged.
Outcomes: At last, it was confirmed that the angiogram was a pulmonary artery image, not an aorta image. Then the atrial septal puncture operation was successfully completed, and under the guidance of the Carto system, the ablation was successfully completed. Postoperative fluoroscopy showed no complications, such as pericardial effusion. After 2 years of follow-up, there was no reoccurrence of tachycardia, and there were no complications. It is crucial that emergency procedures are terminated in a timely manner after a clear miscarriage of performance. Although accidental puncture into the aorta is urgent and serious, performing a blockage or even thoracotomy in an emergency if complications are not clearly confirmed can cause further damage to the patient and would be a definitively wrong strategy.
Conclusion: Strict and standardized TSP operations can avoid complications. Correct judgment of the authenticity of complications is crucial, and remedial measures that may cause further damage should not be blindly adopted. The retention of the aortic guide wire can provide convenient access for further differential diagnosis and remedial treatment.

Abstract To optimize the seismic performance in high-rise buildings, the performance changes of beam-column joints of high-rise steel structures of buildings when they are impacted are analyzed to obtain the optimal choice of joint combination. The most commonly used steel beam and steel column joints are selected as the research objects. Firstly, the finite element model and the shell element model of the force are established and then the model of the finite element combination of six kinds of steel beam and steel column joints is established. Secondly, the applied data of common impact force in actual buildings are collected, and the simulated impact force in this experiment is established according to the sampled data. Then, the changes in each performance of the joints under the action of the impact external force are deeply explored through simulation. Finally, the accuracy of the model is confirmed by calculation. The experimental results comprehensively show that the transmission mechanisms of the impact force are different for the six joints. Through calculation and comparison, the bending stiffness, strength, deformation, the displacement degree of the joints, and the bearing degree of the impact external force are comprehensively analyzed. It is concluded that the bolt-type and external diaphragm-type steel tube column concrete and steel-beam concrete composite joints have better seismic resistance than the other five joints. The bolt-type does not need to be welded on site, and the on-site construction workers only need to assemble, which can reduce the technical requirements for construction workers, improving the practicability and applicability. Therefore, it shows reliable reference significance for the joint selection of building steel structures.

Abstract The study aims to continuously improve the level of the construction industry, such as the improvement of construction capacity and efficiency and reduction of the project cost and construction period, and find a specific way to improve the development of the construction industry. First, the study analyzes the research status of mechanical properties of horizontal joints, vertical joints, and the overall structure of worldwide prefabricated buildings. Next, the built-in steel fabricated concrete shear wall model is established. Moreover, the quasi-static experimental analysis is conducted on the joints of the fabricated shear wall with built-in section steel. The finite element software is used to analyze the numerical simulation test of the new built-in shear wall. According to the relevant test parameters, the finite element model is constructed, and the parameters are set. Finally, the shear wall model is established and tested by a simulation experiment, and the simulation results are compared with the numerical simulation results. The final results show that the proposed connection mode of the reinforced skeleton and new fabricated joints improves the stability of prefabricated buildings. The use of the quasi-static test to test the relevant performance parameters has a short calculation time, high efficiency, and high parameter optimization accuracy. It can better simulate the actual working conditions and the actual stress-strain and damage failure conditions. Moreover, the conclusion is drawn that the shear wall structure with steel plate concrete has good ductility and deformation capacity. The study has a certain reference significance for the construction optimization of steel plate concrete prefabricated buildings and related research in the future.

Abstract The past decade has witnessed the development of tactile sensors, which have been increasingly considered as an essential equipment in robotics, especially the dexterous manipulation and collaborative human-robot interactions. There are two major types of tactile sensors, i.e., the vision-based and taxel-based sensors. The latter is capable of achieving lower integration complexity with existing robotic systems, but unable to provide high-resolution (HR) tactile information as that of the vision-based counterpart due to the manufacturing limitations. Therefore, we propose a novel tactile pattern super-resolution (SR) scheme for taxel-based sensors, which is a data-driven scheme enabling customized selection on the number of applied "tapping" actions to achieve improvable performance from single tapping SR (STSR) to the multi-tapping SR (MTSR). In addition, we develop a new dataset for the proposed tactile SR scheme. In order to obtain scalable resolutions (e.g. ×4, ×10, ×20, etc.) of ground-truth HR tactile patterns, we propose a novel tactile point spread function (PSF) scheme to generate HR tactile patterns by leveraging the low-resolution (LR) data gathered directly from the taxel-based sensor and the depth information of contact surfaces. This is in strong contrast to the conventional ground-truth generation approach with overlapped multi-sampling and registration strategy, which can only provide a fixed resolution. Experimental results confirm the efficiency of the proposed scheme.

Abstract Objectives: This study was aimed to clarify the incidence, severity, and clinical risk factors for white spot lesions (WSLs) in adolescent patients treated with clear aligners.
Methods: Pre-treatment and post-treatment intraoral photographs of 203 adolescent patients undergoing clear aligner therapy were retrospectively evaluated to assess the occurrence and severity of WSLs. Information on patients' general oral condition and orthodontic treatment was collected from clinical medical documents, retrospective questionnaires, and ClinCheck® software. Independent risk factors and model performance were determined by multivariate logistic regression and receiver operating characteristic curve analysis.
Results: Thirty-five percent of adolescent patients developed WSLs during clear aligner treatment. Logistic regression analysis revealed that the presence of WSLs before treatment (OR 2.484, 95% CI 1.245-4.957), frequency of drinking carbonated beverages (OR 1.508, 95% CI 1.045-2.177), and number of anterior attachments (OR 2.192, 95% CI 1.502-3.198) were risk factors for the occurrence of WSLs in adolescent patients treated with clear aligners (P < .05), whereas the number of times they brushed each day (OR 0.656, 95% CI 0.454-0.947) and frequency of aligner cleaning after eating while wearing them (OR 0.611, 95% CI 0.433-0.861) were protective factors against WSLs (P < .05).
Conclusions: The incidence of WSLs was high in adolescent patients treated with clear aligners. Few brushings each day, pre-treatment WSLs, a high frequency of drinking carbonated beverages, a low frequency of aligner cleaning after eating while wearing them, and a high number of anterior attachments are strongly associated with the development of WSLs in adolescent patients treated with clear aligners.

Abstract Background: It has been believed that traditional handcrafted radiomic features extracted from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of tumors are normally shallow and low-ordered. Recent advancement in deep learning technology shows that the high-order deep radiomic features extracted automatically from tumor images can capture tumor heterogeneity in a more efficient way. We hypothesize that MRI-based deep radiomic phenotypes have significant associations with molecular profiles of breast cancer tumors. We aim to identify deep radiomic features (DRFs) from MRI, evaluate their significance in predicting breast cancer (BC) clinical characteristics and explore their associations with multi-level genomic factors.
Methods: A denoising autoencoder was built to retrospectively extract 4,096 DRFs from 110 BC patients' MRI. Visualization and clustering were applied to these DRFs. Linear Mixed Effect models were used to test their associations with multi-level genomic features (GFs) (risk genes, gene signatures, and biological pathway activities) extracted from the same patients' mRNA expression profile. A Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator model was used to identify the most predictive DRFs for each clinical characteristic (tumor size (T), lymph node metastasis (N), estrogen receptor (ER), progesterone receptor (PR), and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) status).
Results: Thirty-six conventional radiomic features (CRFs) for 87 of the 110 BC patients provided by a previous study were used for comparison. More than 1,000 DRFs were associated with the risk genes, gene signatures, and biological pathways activities (adjusted P-value < 0.05). DRFs produced better performance in predicting T, N, ER, PR, and HER2 status (AUC > 0.9) using DRFs. These DRFs showed significant powers of stratifying patients, linking to relevant biological and clinical characteristics. As a contrast, only eight risk genes were associated with CRFs. The RFs performed worse in predicting clinical characteristics than DRFs.
Conclusions: The deep learning-based auto MRI features perform better in predicting BC clinical characteristics, which are more significantly associated with GFs than traditional semi-auto MRI features. Our radiogenomic approach for identifying MRI-based imaging signatures may pave potential pathways for the discovery of genetic mechanisms regulating specific tumor phenotypes and may enable a more rapid innovation of novel imaging modalities, hence accelerating their translation to personalized medicine.

Abstract Purpose: We aimed to construct novel nomograms for nodal and distant metastasis for patients with G1 and G2 colorectal neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
Methods: A training set and validation set were obtained by including G1 and G2 colorectal NET patients from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database and the Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Science, respectively. The area under curve (AUC) values under receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves, calibration plots, and the Hosmer‒Lemeshow tests were used to evaluate the discriminability and calibration of nomograms.
Results: In total, 3690 and 172 patients were included in the training set and validation set, respectively. Tumor size, location, and T stage were included in the nomogram predicting nodal metastasis. The AUC values of the nomogram were 0.972 (95% confidence interval (CI): 0.964-0.980) and 0.897 (95% CI: 0.846-0.948) in the training set and validation set, respectively. The calibration plots and Hosmer‒Lemeshow test for the training set (P = 0.999) and validation set (P = 0.537) showed good model calibration. Tumor size, T stage, and N stage were incorporated into the nomogram predicting distant metastasis. The ROC curves demonstrated desirable discrimination both in the training set (AUC = 0.938 (95% CI: 0.921-0.954)) and validation set (AUC = 0.938 (95% CI: 0.890-0.988)). The calibration curves and Hosmer‒Lemeshow test indicated acceptable model calibration both in the training set (P = 0.908) and validation set (P = 0.722).
Conclusion: The proposed nomograms may be used as a reliable tool to predict the nodal and distant metastasis in G1 and G2 colorectal NETs.
