Abstract Saponin-rich medicinal plants, particularly ginseng and Pseudo ginseng, are valuable in traditional medical practice due to the presence of different saponins. These plants benefit from natural saponins/triterpenoids drugs, such as Ginsenosides, Gypenosides, Platycodins, and Lancemasides. Ginsenosides are highly required for research and functional materials preparation in industrial practices, and some compounds, like Compound-K, have been taken to human trials for various therapeutic applications. To elucidate the genes/transcripts profiles responsible for secondary metabolites and ginsenoside biosynthesis in Ginseng and Pseudo ginseng plant genomes, a comparative analysis was conducted in this study. Nine plant genomes with a 99% BUSCO completeness score were used, resulting in 49 KEGG secondary metabolite pathways, 571 cytochromes genes with 42 families, and 3529 carbohydrate genes with 103 superfamilies. The comparative analysis revealed 24 genes/transcripts belonging to the CYP716 family, which is involved in the ginsenoside biosynthesis pathway. Additionally, it found that various ginsenosides demonstrated strong binding affinity with twelve targets, with ginsenoside Rg3, Rg2, Rh1, Rh5, F3, Rh9, Panaxadione, Protopanaxatriol, Floral ginsenoside C, and Floral ginsenoside E exhibiting the highest binding affinities with the tested enzymes. Since these groups of enzymes are not yet fully characterized for Pseudo ginseng plants in the interconversion of triterpenoids, this comparative bioinformatics analysis could aid experimentalists in selecting and conducting characterization with practical knowledge.

Abstract Accurate recommendation of tourist attractions is conducive to improving users' travel efficiency and tourism experience. However, the choice of tourism feature factors and the difference of recommendation algorithm will affect the accuracy of scenic spot recommendation. Aiming at the problems of sparse data, insufficient tourism factors, and low recommendation accuracy in the existing tourism recommendation research, this paper puts forward a scenic spot recommendation method based on microblog data and machine learning by using the characteristics of personalized expression and strong current situation of microblog data and the intelligent prediction function of machine learning, so as to realize accurate and personalized scenic spot recommendation. This paper extracts rich tourism characteristic factors. Typical tourism recommendation algorithms choose tourism characteristic factors from scenic spots, tourists, and other aspects, without considering the travel time, tourism season, and other contextual information of tourists' destination, which can help understand users' tourism preferences from different angles. Aiming at the problem of sparse data and cold start of collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm, this paper introduces deep learning algorithm and combines the proposed multifeature tourism factors to build dynamic scenic spot prediction models (random forest preferred attraction prediction (RFPAP) and neural networks preferred attraction prediction (NNPAP)). The experimental results show that RFPAP and NNPAP methods can overcome the problem of data sparsity and achieve 89.61% and 89.51% accuracy, respectively. RFPAP method is better than NNPAP method and has stronger generalization ability.

Abstract Shell-sheddable nanoparticles, composed of amphiphilic blockpolymers, have emerged as an attractive vehicle for the site-specific delivery of therapeutic agents. In this study, pH-responsive sheddable copolymers bearing an orthoester linker were synthesized via the ring-opening polymerization between γ-benzyl-L-glutamate N-carboxyanhydride and orthoester-bearing poly (ethylene glycol) macroinitiator (PEG-pH-NH

Abstract The user alignment of cross-social networks is divided into user and group alignments, respectively. Obtaining users' full features is difficult due to social network privacy protection policies in user alignment mode. In contrast, the alignment accuracy is low due to the large number of edge users in the group alignment mode. To resolve this issue, First, stable topics are obtained from user-generated content (UGC) based on embedded topic jitter time, and the weight of user edges is updated by using vector distances. An improved Louvain algorithm, called Stable Topic-Louvain (ST-L), is designed to accomplish multi-level community detection without predetermined tags. It aims to obtain fuzzy topic features of the community and finalize the community alignment across social networks. Furthermore, iterative alignment is executed from coarse-grained communities to fine-grained sub-communities until user-level alignment occurs. The process can be terminated at any layer to achieve multi-granularity alignment, which resolves the low accuracy issue of edge user alignment at a single granularity and improves the accuracy of user alignment. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown by implementing real datasets.

Abstract This paper is aimed at the problems of low accuracy, long recognition time, and low recognition efficiency in English speech recognition. In order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of English speech recognition, an improved ant colony algorithm is used to deal with the dynamic time planning problem. The core is to adopt an adaptive volatilization coefficient and dynamic pheromone update strategy for the basic ant colony algorithm. Using new state transition rules and optimal ant parameter selection and other improved methods, the best path can be found in a shorter time and the execution efficiency can be improved. Simulation experiments tested the recognition rates of traditional ant colony algorithm and improved ant colony algorithm. The results show that the global search ability and accuracy of improved ant colony algorithm are better than traditional algorithms, which can effectively improve the efficiency of English speech recognition system.

Abstract Background: Left ventricular stroke work per unit myocardium (LVSWM) and cardiac power output per unit myocardium (CPOM) are important measures of myocardial workload. The sex differences in the myocardial workload and its correlation with blood pressure remain largely unclear.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the sex differences in LVSWM and CPOM, and to relate them to blood pressure in a cohort of apparently healthy adults.
Methods: The LVSWM and CPOM were estimated in 596 age- and heart rate-matched apparently healthy adults (298 men) using transthoracic echocardiography combined with cuff-measured brachial blood pressure. The data were compared between sexes, and the sex differences in LVSWM and CPOM were related to blood pressure.
Results: After adjustment for the blood pressure, the LVSWM and CPOM were higher in women than in men [75.0 (73.7-76.4) vs 64.9 (63.5-66.2) cJ/100g for LVSWM, and 912.4 (894.1-930.6) vs 780.2 (762.0-798.5) milliwatt/100g for CPOM, respectively; all P<0.001]. After adjustment for the LVSWM and CPOM, the mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure were 7.4 mm Hg and 5.2 mm Hg higher in men than in women, respectively (all P<0.001).
Conclusions: For any given blood pressure, the workload per unit myocardium is higher in apparently healthy women than in their male counterparts. A sex-specific definition of normal blood pressure with a relatively lower threshold for women can minimize the sex differences in the myocardial workload, which might reduce the potentially comparatively higher risk of heart failure in women.
