Abstract The term Gastronomy is defined and conceptualized from different perspectives and academic disciplines. It is an ambiguous concept that confronts common belief and scientific knowledge, which cannot be accessed from a single perspective. Thus, the present research aimed to identify the epistemological construction of Gastronomy Knowledge in the scientific literature. To achieve this objective, a systematic literature review was carried out in the Scopus, EBSCOhost, Web of Science, ProQuest, ERIC, and SCIELO databases. And in the grey literature, in the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Catalog, the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, and in ProQuest - Dissertations & Theses. The results are presented and discussed in two distinct sections and methods: bibliometric analysis and content analysis. Gastronomy is considered a plural and ambiguous concept, which denotes a series of meanings used in different contexts and situations, to designate a field of study, research, and practice, composed of a set of knowledge. Gastronomy Knowledge, as an epistemology, is constituted by systematized (scientific) knowledge originating from different epistemologies and scientific disciplines, therefore, a kind of knowledge of a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary nature, and by popular (artistic) knowledge constituted by empirical knowledge originating from cultural knowledge and practices, in a sociocultural context of transformations of new transdisciplinary knowledge.

Abstract Background: Dyspnoea is very common in elderly patients and can be caused by a variety of different diseases. However, the initial diagnosis of patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) as a cause of left heart failure is very rare in this patient population.
Case summary: A 69-year-old physically active woman with known hypertension presented with worsening exertional dyspnoea. Echocardiography showed a dilated left ventricle with moderately reduced left ventricular ejection fraction, and evidence for PDA. The PDA was confirmed by computed tomography angiography and successfully closed by implantation of an Amplatzer PDA occluder II 06-06 mm. As a result, the heart failure symptoms receded completely.
Discussion: Congenital heart diseases should be considered as heart failure causes even in older adults. In addition to the standard medical therapy, there may be effective interventional treatment options to reverse the symptoms of heart failure in such patients.

Abstract Mitral annular calcification (MAC) is a chronic, degenerative condition of the fibrous mitral annulus, which may transform to liquefaction necrosis MAC, a rare variant of caseous MAC. We present a series of experiences, showing the varying manifestations of caseous MAC according to multimodal imaging. (

Titelübersetzung Der Schlaf-Teil des Baby-DIPS: Reliabilität und Validität
Abstract A cumulative dissertation is presented investigating the reliability and validity of the sleep section of the Diagnostic Interview for the Assessment of Regulatory Disorders in Infancy (Baby-DIPS). It contains - besides a comprehensive introduction - three contributions: (1) Müller, S., Williams, I. & Schneider S. (submitted). A review of the retest-reliability of reports on lifetime childhood diagnoses. (2) Müller, S., Hemmi, M. H., Wilhelm, F., Barr, R. G. & Schneider, S. (in press). Parental report of infant sIeep behavior by electronic vs. paper-and-pencil diaries and their relationship to actigraphic sIeep measurement. Journal of SIeep Research. (3) Hemmi, M. H., Schneider, S., Müller, S.,Meyer, A. & Wilhelm, F. (submitted). Maternal mood disturbances and caregiving style is associated to daytime fluctuations and variable trajectories in infant sIeep and negative affective behavior. 121 mothers and their infants took part in the diary study. The study included an actigraphic sleep assessment, maternal diary report about their infants' sleep behavior, and maternal assessment of psychopathology. The Baby-DIPS interview was conducted at the end of the study. 70 mothers participated in the Baby-DIPS interview. Excellent reliabilites for almost all current and lifetime sleep diagnoses were obtained. For the validation of the sleep section against actigraphy and Baby's Day Diary, medium correlations were obtained for global daytime sleep measures. Global and specific nighttime sleep measures showed greater variability.
