Abstract The decision made by top management to form an internal audit should be aimed at improving the security of the entire company. This ensures the safety of top management in all enterprises, especially in agricultural enterprises that rely on primary agriculture and processing of agricultural products with the aim of producing production that is more valuable than primary agricultural products. Internal audit should be introduced in the regular course of business of the enterprise with the aim of improving the overall security of the business of the enterprise. One form of implementation is to improve internal controls already in place by giving internal management advice and advice to top management on how to improve the controls already in place. The contribution of the authors who made this study is to emphasize and emphasize the importance of implementing internal audit, which, after the decision of top management to introduce internal audit in the processes of business operations of the company. The aim of such a decision is to increase the security of the business of the enterprise and, together with the existing internal control, to build a more secure business system in order to contribute to the improvement of the performance of the agricultural enterprise. The process was emphasized by the authors as being continuous and not carried out in the short term because the postulates of setting up and setting up a business are presumably permanent and long-term.

Abstract Business decision-making as part of management and decision-making in industrial enterprises depends on the interaction of multiple internal and external factors. Business decision-making is part of the business decisions that top management makes every day with the goal of good company management. This is of great importance for the practical functioning of enterprises in transition countries. Their economies are heavily influenced by developed economies that impose their own rules of conduct that often do not suit countries in transition. Therefore, the importance of studying business decision-making is increasing. This is important for the operation and functioning of an industrial enterprise, because the strength of an economy is directly dependent on the strength of industrial economies. Applying valid business decisions can have a major impact on making the right business decisions of the top management of an industrial enterprise. On this basis, it is clear to see the true importance of the link between making valid, timely business decisions of top management of an industrial enterprise and the achieved business results as a result of the conducted business activities of an industrial enterprise in a certain real time period of observation. This is the primary goal and contribution that the authors of this paper make in this study. It is possible to apply in many transition countries.

Abstract Internal audit in a large number of heterogeneous companies contributes to the improvement of the overall business of the company by contributing to the improvement and making new business decisions. This generally improves and modernizes enterprise management. Top management decisions based on the recommendations of internal company auditors are less risky. Management risk with management using the decisions and recommendations of internal auditors has a lower degree of risk. Thus, top management decisions are made with less risk to the survival of the company. Management should be seen as the governing body of the company. He, as the governing body, is constantly looking for a way to improve management in the enterprise. The processes for establishing internal audit mechanisms should be designed to contribute to the structural improvement of the overall management of any enterprise with respect to the business in which it operates, the size of the enterprise, and more. Internal audit can contribute to helping top management by making continuous recommendations that can help top management improve enterprise management. The authors emphasize that their contribution in this paper is primarily focused on demonstrating the importance of introducing internal audit in companies. This becomes part of the management structure of the company by adopting the recommendations of internal auditors from the corporate governance body or top management of the company.

Abstract The problem of the increasing number of information sources and their costs as well as more demanding users on the one side, and limited financial resources on the other, has not avoided Croatia. One of the attempts to deal with this state of affairs is associating libraries into consortia. A consortium could, through cooperative cataloguing, help optimise the processing of library material, it could help in solving the problem of rational ways of continuous education of staff and users and coordinate acquisition policy through common purchasing of information resources, from bibliographic databases to electronic journals under various licensing conditions. This last aspect of cooperation in a consortium will be dealt with in detail in the text that follows.

Abstract The largest part of food sales is managed by large food supply chains. However, an alternative system of food distribution focuses on locally produced and sold food that has gotten great attention in the last two decades. The challenges of those new systems, called short food supply chains (SFSC), represent tough market competitions, high distribution and logistics costs, small shipment sizes and so forth. Hence, the SFSC requires corresponding solutions in food distribution that are aligned with the contemporary logistics trends, sustainability and aspects of the new digital era. Using specially developed methodology, based on two different conceptual models, we showed how the SFSC could be designed from the aspects of innovative logistics modes and contemporary information and communication technologies, with the final aim to outline and evaluate different food distribution scenarios towards greater sustainability. The first conceptual model was aimed at the creation of innovative forms of SFSC, in which business process modelling was used in order to design and explore the given situation more thoroughly. For the purposes of conducting a comparative assessment of the distribution models developed in the previous part, the second conceptual model is developed. By using a qualitative approach, this is how the major advantages and challenges of practical implementations in creating sustainable distribution solutions are stated for each scenario.

Abstract Estimation of rainfall erosivity ( RE ) and erosivity density ( ED ) is essential for understanding the complex relationships between hydrological and soil erosion processes. The main objective of this study is to assess the spatial–temporal trends and variability of the RE and ED in the central and southern Pannonian Basin by using station observations and gridded datasets. To assess RE and ED , precipitation data for 14 meteorological stations, 225 grid points. and an erosion model consisting of daily, monthly, seasonal, and annual rainfall for the period of 1961–2014 were used. Annual RE and ED based on station data match spatially variable patterns of precipitation, with higher values in the southwest (2100 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ) and southeast (1650 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ) of the study area, but minimal values in the northern part (700 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ). On the other hand, gridded datasets display more detailed RE and ED spatial–temporal variability, with the values ranging from 250 to 2800 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 . The identified trends are showing increasing values of RE (ranging between 0.20 and 21.17 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ) and ED (ranging between 0.01 and 0.03 MJ·ha −1 ·h −1 ) at the annual level. This tendency is also observed for autumn RE (from 5.55 to 0.37 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ) and ED (from 0.05 to 0.01 MJ·ha −1 ·h −1 ), as for spring RE (from 1.00 to 0.01 MJ·mm·ha −1 ·h −1 ) and ED (from 0.04 to 0.01 MJ·ha −1 ·h −1 ), due to the influence of the large-scale processes of climate variability, with North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) being the most prominent. These increases may cause a transition to a higher erosive class in the future, thus raising concerns about this type of hydro-meteorological hazard in this part of the Pannonian Basin. The present analysis identifies seasons and places of greatest erosion risk, which is the starting point for implementing suitable mitigation measures at local to regional scales.
