Abstract BACKGROUND Primary central nervous system diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an extremely aggressive brain disease that rarely affects immunocompetent non-elderly patients, particularly with hemorrhagic presentation. Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays an important role in the diagnosis of this entity, which typically demonstrates restricted diffusion and a T2 hypointense appearance, suggesting hypercellularity. CASE REPORT A 44-year-old man came to the emergency department with a persistent and treatment-resistant bilateral frontal headache that had been bothering him for the past 3 weeks. Upon conducting a neurological assessment, the patient displayed temporal disorientation and incoherent speech, but without any observable motor deficits. A non-contrast enhanced brain computed tomography scan was carried out, revealing a hyperattenuating, space-occupying lesion and hemorrhage in the left hemisphere of the brain. Subsequently, brain MRI demonstrated hypointense signal on T2-weighted images, restricted diffusion, and homogeneous lesional contrast enhancement, suggesting a very cellular expansive lesion with hemorrhage. To establish a definitive diagnosis, a brain biopsy was undertaken, confirming the presence of DLBCL of the primary central nervous system (germinal center phenotype). CONCLUSIONS Hemorrhagic presentation of primary central nervous system DLBCL occurs very rarely, particularly in non-elderly immunocompetent patients. Brain MRI plays an important role in the diagnosis of this entity, which allows differentiation from high-grade glial or other lesions that present more frequently with hemorrhage. Therefore, it is crucial to suspect lymphoma before surgical intervention for appropriate patient management.

Abstract This work focuses on the study of tethered fights of a micro quadcopter, with the aim of supplying continuous power to a small-sized aerial robot. Multiple features for facilitating the interaction between a tethered micro quadcopter and a ground base are described in this paper. Firstly, a tether model based on the catenary curve is presented that describes a quadcopter tethered to a point in space. Furthermore, a method capable of estimating the tension applied to the quadcopter, based only on the inertial information from the IMU sensors and the motor thrusts, is presented. Finally, a novel method for localizing the quadcopter by exploiting the tension imposed by the tether and the shape of the tether is described. The proposed methods are evaluated both in simulation and in real world prototype.

Abstract Purpose: The use of strength and conditioning training in childhood is a hot topic surrounded by myths and misconceptions. Despite scientific evidence supporting the safety and benefits of this training for children, the lack of representation of their voices poses a challenge in designing training programs that meet their specific needs and requirements.
Methods: Children's views, experiences, and perceptions of strength and conditioning training were explored by Write, Draw, Show and Tell techniques. Sixteen grassroots soccer players aged 11-12 years took part in one of 3 focus groups exploring the topic. Data were analyzed following an inductive approach enabling themes to be explored and later deductive analyses using the Youth Physical Activity Promotion model to create pen profile diagrams.
Results: Strength and conditioning were frequently associated with muscle growth, coordination, endurance, and rest. Enabling factors included autonomy, resilience, physical development, and training opportunities. Reinforcing factors included social support, social interference, coaches' communication, role models, and the ways of implementation.
Conclusions: Participants favor integrating strength and conditioning into their soccer training rather than conducting it as a separate session, which is reflected in their enjoyment. Nonetheless, children remain apprehensive about the potential effects of this type of training on their growth.

Abstract Introduction: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has been used for arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs (aRCR), but no studies have addressed the impact of platelet concentration. The primary aim was to evaluate whether the PRP cell concentration has an effect on tendon healing after aRCR compared with surgery alone. The secondary aim was to assess the functional and pain outcomes.
Materials and methods: A systematic review was performed with searches in the MEDLINE (PubMed), Scopus, Web of Science, and Cochrane (Central) databases according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis guidelines. Metanalytic procedures were performed for randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and a subgroup analysis was used for studies with target (approximately 10 6 cells·μL -1 ) or below-target PRP cellular concentrations (app. 5 × 10 5 cells·μL -1 ) regarding the primary outcome of tendon healing.
Results: This review included 10 studies (8 RCTs) with 342 patients in the aRCR + PRP group and 344 patients with isolated aRCR. The risk of bias was low to intermediate (6/4, respectively). Meta-analysis of the RCT revealed that the aRCR + high-concentration PRP group had an approximately 3.9-fold higher chance of healing than the non-PRP group (odds ratio, 3.89; 95% confidence interval, 1.78-8.44; P = 0.0007). No significant difference in healing was found between the aRCR + low-concentration PRP and non-PRP groups (odds ratio, 2.21; 95% confidence interval, 0.66-7.45; P = 0.2). The Constant-Murley score and University of California Los Angeles scores were significantly improved in the aRCR + PRP groups with more than 12 months of follow-up, and no significant differences were found consistently for the American Shoulder and Elbow Society and visual analog scale scores.
Conclusions: This study highlights that a PRP cell concentration close to the target (10 6 cells·μL -1 ) of patients with aRCR may improve their healing and functional outcomes and that dosing may be potentially useful in therapy.

Abstract This study examined affordance perception for soccer dribbling using a mixed-methods approach in male grassroots soccer players. We examined how children construct and perceive skills practices for dribbling in soccer. Fourteen boys aged 10-11 years (Mean ± SD = 10.8 ± 0.4 years) who were regularly engaged in grassroots soccer participated in the present study. Children were provided with ten soccer cones and asked to create their own soccer dribbling pattern that would enable them to maximise the number of touches with a football and then dribble the ball in the pattern they had created for a 1 min period. Children were interviewed to explore their perception of affordances for soccer dribbling. The test of gross motor development-3 was used to assess fundamental movement skills (FMS), and the UGent soccer dribbling test was used to assess soccer dribbling skills. Children self-rated their own ability for soccer dribbling, as did their coaches. Pearson's correlations were employed to examine the associations between quantitative variables, and thematic analysis was used to explore qualitative data. Results of the present study suggest that those children who created patterns with less space between cones accrued more touches of the football in their dribbling task (r = -0.671,

Abstract Although strength and conditioning is beneficial and safe for children to engage in there remain myths and misconceptions form parents regarding its use which prevent its widespread take up. This study explored parents' attitudes and beliefs about strength and conditioning in their children. Thirty-one parents (21 dads, 10 mums) took part in one of four focus groups exploring the topic. Thematic analysis was used resulting in themes and sub themes centred on: Beliefs; Determinants; Coach Education; Coach Communication; and Relationship to the Game. There were also smaller aspects of the focus groups which touched upon autonomy as a concept related to implementation of strength and conditioning specifically. Overall, parents of children who play grassroots sport hold generally positive perceptions on use of strength and conditioning with their children, considering it beneficial for both physical and mental development. Key factors relating to successful implementation of strength and conditioning for children focus on having a qualified coach in that particular area (rather than a generic sports coach), effective communication between coach and parents, and coach and children in terms of the benefits of engaging with strength and conditioning.

Abstract Industrial Kitchens are very energy-intensive businesses, consuming between five and seven times more energy per square meter than other commercial spaces like office spaces and retail stores. Still, very little research has been carried out on improving the energy efficiency of this industry. This paper presents the FIKElectricity dataset, a collection of electricity data from three Portuguese restaurant kitchens during their daily operation. The duration of the datasets spans three to four weeks in each industrial kitchen and comprises aggregated and individual appliance consumption, collected at 1 Hz and [Formula: see text] Hz, respectively. The public release of FIKElectricity is expected to draw more attention from the research community to this overlooked industrial sector. The data collection and post-processing methods are thoroughly described in this paper, as well as the dataset organization. Examples showing the dataset's quality and instructions for its reuse are also provided.

Abstract Background: This study aimed to compare brain asymmetry in patients with schizophrenia (SCZ), bipolar disorder (BPD), and healthy controls to test whether asymmetry patterns could discriminate and set boundaries between two partially overlapping severe mental disorders.
Methods: We applied a fully automated voxel-based morphometry (VBM) approach to assess structural brain hemispheric asymmetry in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) anatomical scans in 60 participants (SCZ = 20; BP = 20; healthy controls = 20), all right-handed and matched for gender, age, and education.
Results: Significant differences in gray matter asymmetry were found between patients with SCZ and BPD, between SCZ patients and healthy controls (HC), and between BPD patients and HC. We found a higher asymmetry index (AI) in BPD patients when compared to SCZ in Brodmann areas 6, 11, and 37 and anterior cingulate cortex and an AI higher in SCZ patients when compared to BPD in the cerebellum.
Conclusion: Our study found significant differences in brain asymmetry between patients with SCZ and BPD. These promising results could be translated to clinical practice, given that structural brain changes detected by MRI are good candidates for exploration as biological markers for differential diagnosis, besides helping to understand disease-specific abnormalities.
