Abstract As China’s economy has transitioned, the energy industry has developed rapidly. The government is promoting a revolution in energy production and consumption and building a green, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. The high-quality development of green energy has become an essential part of high-quality economic development. This paper constructs a high-quality green energy development indicator system from three aspects: green energy production, green energy output and pollution output. Then, the entropy weight method is used to measure the high-quality development level of inter-provincial green energy in China from 2010 to 2018. Moreover, the characteristics of regional differences and time evolution are deeply analyzed. Based on this, the impact of sports industry agglomeration on the high-quality development of green energy is verified. The results show that the aggregation of the sports industry can increase the level of high-quality development of green energy, and different regions have heterogeneous characteristics. Finally, based on the research conclusions, this paper puts forward some policy recommendations for promoting high-quality energy development in China.

Abstract The high-end equipment manufacturing industry is a strategic sector for China’s manufacturing transformation and upgrading. However, this industry is facing a series of challenges, such as insufficient innovation capabilities and poor business operations. This paper uses the super-efficiency SBM model to calculate the operating efficiency of listed companies in this industry from a micro perspective and conducts in-depth multi-angle analysis of their operating efficiency. Furthermore, Tobit regression is utilized to identify the factors that affect operating efficiency. The aim is to provide a pathway for companies in this industry to achieve efficiency maximization and sustainable development. The research shows that the average operating efficiency of high-end equipment manufacturing companies was around 0.7 from 2016 to 2021, and nearly 70% of companies were in a non-DEA efficient state. The operating efficiency of the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry is far higher than other industries, and the western region has great development potential. In addition to government subsidies, factors such as company age, equity concentration, regional GDP, and regional openness all have a positive impact on the operational efficiency of high-end equipment manufacturing companies. This paper combines the characteristics of the equipment manufacturing industry and analyzes their operating efficiency from multiple dimensions, providing decision support and pathways for the high-quality and efficient development of this industry.

Abstract One case of allopurinol-caused rare adverse reactions was reported. One male 51-year-old patient presented blurred vision, streaming eyes, photophobia and blepharospasm sequentially 1 week after oral administration of allopurinol. Complete remission was obtained after Botulinum toxin was locally injected. Allopurinol may cause Meige syndrome-like blepharospasm, the mechanism of which may be related to the inhibition of dopamine activity by affecting adenosine level in the brain.

Abstract Abstract The outer membrane (OM) of Gram-negative bacteria is an asymmetric lipid bilayer with outer leaflet lipopolysaccharides and inner leaflet phospholipids (PLs). This unique lipid asymmetry renders the OM impermeable to external insults, including antibiotics and bile salts. To maintain this barrier, the OmpC-Mla system removes mislocalized PLs from the OM outer leaflet, and transports them to the inner membrane (IM); in the first step, the OmpC-MlaA complex transfers PLs to the periplasmic chaperone MlaC, but mechanistic details are lacking. Here, we biochemically and structurally characterize the MlaA-MlaC transient complex. We map the interaction surfaces between MlaA and MlaC in Escherichia coli, and show that electrostatic interactions are important for MlaC recruitment to the OM. We further demonstrate that interactions with MlaC modulate conformational states in MlaA. Finally, we solve a 2.9-Å cryo-EM structure of a disulfide-trapped OmpC-MlaA-MlaC complex in nanodiscs, reinforcing the mechanism of MlaC recruitment, and highlighting membrane thinning as a plausible strategy for directing lipids for transport. Our work offers critical insights into retrograde PL transport by the OmpC-Mla system in maintaining OM lipid asymmetry.

Abstract As the promising next-generation power grid, the smart grid has developed rapidly in recent years. The smart grid enables energy to be stored and delivered more efficiently and safely, but user data’s integrity protection has been an important security issue in the smart grid. Although lots of digital signature protocols for the smart grid have been proposed to resolve this problem, they are vulnerable to quantum attacks. To deal with this problem, an efficient identity-based signature protocol on lattices is proposed in this paper. To improve our protocol’s efficiency, the tree of commitments is utilized. Moreover, a detailed performance evaluation of the proposed protocol is made. The performance analysis demonstrates that the potential utility of our protocol in the smart grid is huge.

Abstract Ecosystem services (ES) are defined as the benefits of the natural environment that sustain human life. The analyses of the balance of ecosystem services (ES balance) and its driving factors are critical for achieving the region’s sustainable development goals. This study explored the ES balance in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Inner Mongolia (JJJM) region, considering the region’s rapid urbanization, implementation of ecological restoration projects, and intense agricultural and pastoral activities. It quantified the ES balance on different scales and selected nine natural and anthropogenic driving factors to reveal its spatio-temporal heterogeneity and change characteristics in 2000–2020. The main conclusions were as follows: (1) The ES balance in the JJJM region exhibited a significant spatial differentiation: generally higher in its eastern and northern areas and lower in its western and southern parts; (2) The ES balance in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region showed a general trend of initial increase and subsequent decrease, while Inner Mongolia exhibited a continuous upward trend. High-value areas (>46) and low-value areas (<10) increased significantly. 27.33% of the areas showed a continuous improvement trend, but the overall ES balance was declining at a rate of 0.110–0.166/year; (3) Among natural factors, temperature had the highest explanatory power (0.409) regarding ES balance, while among anthropogenic factors, grazing density had the highest explanatory power (0.311). The interaction between temperature and precipitation is the strongest; (4) During the study period, the explanatory power of anthropogenic factors increased over time, indicating that human activities were exerting a gradually increasing impact on the JJJM region’s ES balance. Overall, this study enhanced spatio-temporal understanding of the driving factors of ES balance differentiation, and offered a scientific basis for ecological policy-making and the development and transition of socio-economic activities, which could prove to be ...

Abstract Online social networks (OSNs) are becoming more and more popular in people's lives as the demand for online interaction continues to grow. Current OSNs are using centralized identity management system (IDM), which has some problems of single point of failure and privacy data leakage. The emergence of decentralized identity (DID) can solve these problems. However, most existing DID systems have some privacy issues that a user's attributes value are disclosed while accessing service. In this paper, we design a DID protocol to solve these challenges. The proposed protocol includes a range proof protocol to provide attribute privacy. The range proof protocol works with anonymous credentials and does not need a trusted setup. Moreover, the identity model behind the DID protocol is extended from an existing model, which achieves identity revocation. Finally, we implement a system prototype on the blockchain for evaluation. The security analysis shows that our protocol provides stronger privacy protection. The performance evaluation indicates that the computation cost and blockchain overheads of our protocol are acceptable in OSNs.

Abstract Earth system models (ESMs) are important tools for assessing the historical characteristics and predicting the future characteristics of precipitation, yet the quantitative understanding of how these land–atmospheric coupling models perform in simulating precipitation characteristics remains limited. This study conducts a comprehensive evaluation of precipitation changes simulated by 43 ESMs in CMIP5 and 32 ESMs in CMIP6 in Arid Central Asia (ALL) and its two sub-regions for 1959–2005 with reference to Climate Research Unit (CRU) data, and predicts precipitation changes for 2054–2100. Our analyses suggest the following: (a) no single model consistently outperformed the others in all aspects of simulated precipitation variability (annual averages, long-term trends, and climatological monthly patterns); (b) the CMIP5 and CMIP6 model simulations tended to overestimate average annual precipitation for most of the ALL region, especially in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China (XJ); (c) most model simulations projected a stronger increasing trend in average annual precipitation; (d) although all the model simulations reasonably captured the climatological monthly precipitation, there was an underestimation; (e) compared to CMIP5, most CMIP6 model simulations exhibited an enhanced capacity to simulate precipitation across all aspects, although discrepancies persisted in individual sub-regions; (f) it was confirmed that the multi-model ensemble mean (MME) provides a more accurate representation of the three aspects of precipitation compared to the majority of single-model simulations. Lastly, the values of precipitation predicted by the more efficient models across the ALL region and its sub-regions under the different scenarios showed an increasing trend in most seasons. Notably, the strongest increasing trend in precipitation was seen under the high-emission scenarios.
