    Abstract Jährlich werden von den regionalen Arbeitsgemeinschaften Herbizidversuche in den typischen Zuckerrübenanbaugebieten Deutschlands durchgeführt, die das Institut für Zuckerrübenforschung koordiniert. Mittlerweile liegen Ergebnisse aus 26 Versuchsjahren vor. Die häufigsten Unkräuter in diesen Versuchen waren Weißer Gänsefuß (Chenopodium album), Windenknöterich (Fallopia convolvulus) und Kletten-Labkraut (Galium aparine). Allerdings unterscheiden sich die verschiedenen Versuchsstandorte nicht nur geografisch voneinander, sondern auch in den Parametern Boden, Temperatur und Niederschlag, weshalb die Standorte in CEPI-6- Cluster aufgeteilt wurden. Hier zeigt sich, dass sich einzelne Cluster in der Anzahl der auftretenden Unkrautarten signifikant voneinander unterscheiden. Neben der Bodenwertzahl der Standorte können auch die Niederschlagssummen sowie die mittleren Temperaturen einen Einfluss auf die Anzahl der auftretenden Unkräuter haben.

    Every year herbicide trials are conducted by the regional working groups in the typical sugar beet production areas in Germany, coordinated by the institute of sugar beet research. Today the results of 26 trial years are available. The most common weeds in the field trials were fat hen (Chenopodium album), black bindweed (Fallopia convolvulus) and cleavers (Galium aparine). The different trial sites did not only differ in their geographic location but also in soil value, temperature and precipitation. Therefore, the trial sites were divided into CEPI-6-Clusters. Significant differences among clusters in the average number of observed weed species became apparent. Soil value, precipitation sum, and average temperature influence the number of observed weeds.

    Abstract Long-term business relationships between actors are a common mode of exchange in business markets. There has been increasing interest in the governance of long-term business relationships. However, little is known about governance issues in early stages of relationships. The goal of this paper is to put forth a seldom-used methodological approach in marketing to contribute to understanding the role of behavioral norms during the pre-contractual phase of a long-term business relationship. The background of this research project is the initial stages of two case studies of long-term business relationship between a school and investment partners prior to the contract signature with the intent of establishing a new school. Results of the occurrence of norms show that both parties first need to define the framework of their relationship before beginning joint value creation. Furthermore, a gradual increase of usage of norms seems to have a positive effect on a nascent business relationship. -- behavioral norms

    Abstract Nervous system function relies on the polarized architecture of neurons, established by directional transport of pre- and postsynaptic cargoes. While delivery of postsynaptic components depends on the secretory pathway, the identity of the membrane compartment(s) supplying presynaptic active zone (AZ) and synaptic vesicle (SV) proteins is unclear. Live imaging in Drosophila larvae and mouse hippocampal neurons provides evidence that presynaptic biogenesis depends on axonal co-transport of SV and AZ proteins in presynaptic lysosome-related vesicles (PLVs). Loss of the lysosomal kinesin adaptor Arl8 results in the accumulation of SV- and AZ-protein-containing vesicles in neuronal cell bodies and a corresponding depletion of SV and AZ components from presynaptic sites, leading to impaired neurotransmission. Conversely, presynaptic function is facilitated upon overexpression of Arl8. Our data reveal an unexpected function for a lysosome-related organelle as an important building block for presynaptic biogenesis.
