Abstract Among royal jelly’s (RJ) various biological activities, its possible antihypertension and vasorelaxation effects deserve particular attention, but the underlying mechanisms of action remain unclear. Therefore, this study used the spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) hypertension model and the isolated rabbit thoracic aorta rings model to explore the mechanisms underlying the hypotension and vasorelaxation effects of RJ. Rats were divided into the following groups (n = 6): WKY‐control group, SHR‐control group, and SHR‐RJ group. SHR‐RJ group was received 1 g/kg of RJ via oral administration daily for 4 weeks. Systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), heart rate (HR), and nitric oxide (NO) level were detected. In addition, the mechanism of vasodilation of RJ was investigated using an isolated rabbit aortic ring technique. RJ significantly reduced SBP and DBP as well as increased NO levels of SHR in vivo. RJ caused vasorelaxation of the isolated aorta rings, and this effect was inhibited by atropine (M3 receptor blocker), L‐NAME (nitric oxide synthase inhibitor), methylene blue (guanylate cyclase inhibitor), and indomethacin (cyclooxygenase inhibitor). Moreover, RJ could markedly suppress the NE‐induced intracellular Ca2+ releases and high K+‐induced extracellular Ca2+ influx in denuded aortic rings. In addition, RJ can also increase cGMP levels and the production of NO in isolated aortic rings. The present study showed that RJ has antihypertensive effects and was associated with increased NO production. In addition, RJ contains muscarinic receptor agonist, possibly an acetylcholine‐like substance, and induces vasodilation through NO/cGMP pathway and calcium channels.

Abstract Similar to GaN and SiC semiconductors, GaC may be a potential semiconductor because of the mixed elemental features of Ga and C. Unfortunately, the phase stability and mechanical and physical properties of GaC are unknown. To search for novel third-generation semiconductors, the present study delves into an in-depth analysis of the structural stability and electronic and optical properties of GaC by DFT calculations. Similar to GaN, three GaC phases are discussed. It is found that three GaC phases (two cubic phases and one hexagonal phase) are first predicted. The band gaps of

Abstract The uplift of the Tianshan and Pamir Mountains/Areas are caused by active intracontinental tectonic movements. The dynamic mechanism is controversial and has aroused great interest among scholars. In this study, we investigate the present three-dimensional (3-D) crustal deformation in the Tianshan and Pamir areas from multi-geodetic observations from 2002 to 2021. The continuous water deficit throughout Tianshan and Pamir locates mainly in glacier-covered areas, at a total rate of -0.8 cm w.e./yr, inducing spatial surface uplifting at rates of ~0.2-0.5 mm/yr. These Global Positioning System (GPS)-derived velocities in the vertical deformation of the Tianshan and Pamir were corrected based on surface elastic loading models and the Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment Follow-On (GRACE/GFO)-inferred hydrological loading deformation, and interpolated using the GPS imaging method for a higher 3-D crustal deformation spatial resolution In conclusion, surface hydrology is one of the driven factors affecting the regional vertical velocity field observed by GPS. The kinematic crustal shortening and vertical tectonic uplift are integrated within different blocks, which illustrate the contemporary dynamics throughout the Tianshan and Pamir. The relevant spatial characteristics between the 3-D crustal deformation and dynamic tomography along the Tianshan indicate that the relatively weaker lithosphere beneath the central Tianshan is subject to strong compression, which induces the present-day crustal uplift.

Abstract Introduction: In order to prevent COVID-19 from progressing, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) binds to SARS-CoV-2 and prevents the virus from entering target cells. Several studies have found a correlation between COVID-19 risk and the ACE2 G8790A polymorphism; nevertheless, it remains inconclusive. A meta-analysis with relevant articles was carried out to more accurately estimate the risk of COVID-19.
Methodology: We conducted a systematic review using PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Science Direct and Web of Science databases. The odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated. A meta-package was adopted in STATA version 12.0.
Results: It was concluded that the ACE2 G8790A polymorphism was not associated with COVID-19 based on the data collected. Moreover, subgroup analyses stratified based on race proved that the ACE2 G allele showed association with increasing risk of COVID-19 severity in Asians (G vs A: OR = 4.07, 95% CI = 3.19-5.19; GG vs AA: OR = 10.01, 95% CI = 5.39-18.56; GA vs AA: OR = 3.57, 95% CI = 1.84-6.93; dominant model: OR = 8.05, 95% CI = 4.36-14.88; recessive model: OR = 3.83, 95% CI = 2.89-5.08).
Conclusions: The findings indicated that the G allele of ACE2 G8790A was related to an enhanced risk of COVID-19 severity in Asians. One possible reason is that ACE2 G allele was associated with a COVID-19 cytokine storm. Furthermore, Asians have higher levels of ACE2 transcripts than Caucasians and Africans. Therefore, a genetic factor should be considered when developing vaccines in the future.

Abstract The purpose was to improve the limitations of traditional entrepreneurship education, realize the virtual interactive learning between college students and teachers, and stimulate students' exploration of entrepreneurship. This work first discusses the working principle of Virtual Reality (VR) and builds an Interactive Learning Model (ILM) using VR. Then, the VR-ILM is used to design the Smart Space services. Harris Corner Detector (HCD) is used to detect the pixel grayscale change in the Smart Space image window. Further, the VR-ILM-based Smart Space is proposed according to the Smart Space design requirements and principles. Finally, the proposed VR-ILM-based Smart Space is applied to College Entrepreneurship Education (CEE). Its impact on the CEE market, employment in different industries, and students' satisfaction with CEE are studied. The results show that the proposed VR-ILM-based Smart Space has increased the entrepreneurship teaching courses, entrepreneurship coaching activities, and entrepreneurship practice activities by 4, 6, and 24%, respectively. It has reduced entrepreneurship competitions and other forms of entrepreneurship education by 4 and 16%. The proposed VR-ILM-based Smart Space has dramatically improved the practical teaching of CEE. Meanwhile, real estate services have felt the most significant impact of the proposed VR-ILM-based Smart Space, with an employment increase of 43%. Lastly, students' satisfaction with entrepreneurship education practice and teaching methods has increased by nearly 50%. The satisfaction with the internal environment has increased to 78%. The satisfaction with the curriculum system, teachers, and industry financing has increased from 30 to 45%, 24 to 36%, and 45 to 63%, respectively. The satisfaction with the teaching goal has increased to 62%. Thus, the proposed VR-ILM-based Smart Space has dramatically improved students' satisfaction with CEE and has a different impact on the market, industry, and satisfaction with CE. The finding has a certain reference for the VR interactive model.

Abstract The financial crisis of listed companies will bring huge losses to investors, so it is very important to establish a financial early warning model for investors and other stakeholders. The forward neural network model of particle swarm optimization is used to model and analyze the financial early warning of listed companies. In terms of data selection, earnings management indicators are substituted into the model for the common phenomenon of earnings management in listed companies. The results show that the accuracy of the model considering earnings management factors is improved from 65% to 70%. In the process of modeling, this paper uses the logistic regression model to further modify the model. The empirical results show that the accuracy of the model can be improved from 70% to 75%. When using the forward neural network model based on particle swarm optimization to make an empirical analysis of financial early warning of listed companies, adding quantitative indicators of earnings management can improve the accuracy of the model. In the demonstration, the correction of logistic regression model can also improve the accuracy of the particle swarm neural network financial early warning model. This greatly reduces the risk that companies with poor financial conditions will face bankruptcy and liquidation.

Abstract How do environmental heterogeneity influence propagation dynamics of the age-structured invasive species? We investigate this problem by considering a yearly generation invasive species in time-space periodic habitat. Starting from an age-structured population growth law, we formulate a reaction-diffusion model with time-space periodic dispersal, mortality and recruitment. Thanks to the fundamental solution for linear part of the model, we reduce to study the dynamics of a time-space periodic semiflow which is defined by the solution map. By the recent developed dynamical theory in Fang et al. (J Funct Anal 272:4222-4262, 2017), we obtained the spreading speed and its coincidence with the minimal wave speed of time-space periodic traveling waves, as well as the variational characterization of spreading speed in terms of a principal eigenvalue problem. Such results are also proved back to the reaction-diffusion model.

Abstract Systems theory and Marxist philosophy are inextricably linked. Systems theory and Marxist philosophy are both methodologies in a sense and share the perspective of movement and development. The system theory is also embodied in the Marxist philosophy's conceptions of nature, social history, and epistemology. Studying the system theory in Marxist philosophy will undoubtedly benefit from having a solid understanding of the connection between system theory and that philosophy. It has become crucial to enhance the quality of instruction by analyzing student learning data and providing constructive criticism for teaching methods. The students' learning data from the course teaching Marxist philosophy and systems theory were mined and analyzed based on the Apriori algorithm, and strong association rules between the course teaching contents were generated. We can determine the challenging teaching material that has an impact on students' performance through the analysis of these generation rules, enabling teachers to use this feedback information to enhance their pedagogical approaches.
