Abstract As living standards improve, people's demand for appreciation and learning of art is growing gradually. Unlike the traditional learning model, art teaching requires a specific understanding of learners' psychology and controlling what they have learned so that they can create new ideas. This article combines the current deep learning technology with heart rate to complete the action recognition of art dance teaching. The video data processing and recognition are conducted through the Openpose network and graph convolution network. The heart rate data recognition is completed through the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network. The optimal recognition model is established through the data fusion of the two decision levels through the adaptive weight analysis method. The experimental results show that the accuracy of the classification fusion model is better than that of the single-mode recognition method, which is improved from 85.0% to 97.5%. The proposed method can evaluate the heart rate while ensuring high accuracy recognition. The proposed research can help analyze dance teaching and provide a new idea for future combined research on teaching interaction.

Abstract Artificial beaches have made a significant contribution to the expansion of coastal tourism. Obtaining information on tourists’ preferences for artificial beach tourism can help managers to better balance the relationship between the satisfaction of recreational needs and environmental protection. The Meishan Bay Beach Park in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China was used as the study site, and the tourists’ preferences for the artificial beach park development and management were evaluated using the choice experiment method. The results revealed that tourists were generally more interested in improving the governance level of the existing landscape than in further expanding the scale of artificial beach development. Among all attributes, significantly reducing the amount of garbage was the most preferred attribute, with a willingness to pay of 39.75 CNY, while willingness to increase beach area was the lowest attribute. The result of the preference heterogeneity analysis showed that tourists with higher education levels were more willing to pay to obtain a better recreational experience, while local tourists were more concerned about reducing congestion. Moreover, we found a clear and relevant segmentation of tourists’ choice behavior, with the strong sensitivity for raising the ticket price being driven by the smallest group of the sample.

Abstract Our objective was to explore the disparities in the intrinsic functional connectivity (FC) patterns of primary visual cortex (V1) between patients with thyroid-associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) and healthy controls (HCs) utilizing resting-state functional MRI. Twenty-one patients with TAO (14 males and 7 females; mean age: 54.17 ± 4.83 years) and 21 well-matched HCs (14 males and 7 females; mean age: 55.17 ± 5.37 years) underwent functional MRI scans in the resting-state. We assessed modifications in the intrinsic FC patterns of the V1 in TAO patients using the FC method. Subsequently, the identified alterations in FC regions in the analysis were selected as classification features to distinguish TAO patients from HCs through the support vector machine (SVM) method. The results indicated that, in comparison to HCs, patients with TAO exhibited notably reduced FC values between the left V1 and the bilateral calcarine (CAL), lingual gyrus (LING) and superior occipital gyrus, as well as between the right V1 and the bilateral CAL/LING and the right cerebellum. Furthermore, the SVM classification model based on FC maps demonstrated effective performance in distinguishing TAO patients from HCs, achieving an accuracy of 61.9% using the FC of the left V1 and 64.29% using the FC of the right V1. Our study revealed that patients with TAO manifested disruptions in FC between the V1 and higher visual regions during rest. This might indicate that TAO patients could present with impaired top-down modulations, visual imagery and vision-motor function. These insights could be valuable in understanding the underlying neurobiological mechanisms of vision impairment in individuals with TAO.

Abstract Carbon nanostructures (carbon nanotubes, nano carbon spheres, layered carbon nanostructures) were prepared from a sodium dodecyl sulfonate @ sodium chloride system. Sodium dodecyl sulfonate was used as a carbon source. A sodium chloride crystal in the carbonization procedure was used to separate ordered aggregates of sodium dodecyl sulfonate. The results show that different carbon nanostructures were prepared at low concentrations (1CMC~5CMC) by controlling the concentration of sodium dodecyl sulfonate, such as nano carbon spheres and carbon nanotubes, and that layered carbon nanostructures were formed at high concentrations (10CMC). The prepared carbon nanostructures were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, fluorescence spectrometry and Raman spectrometry. The results of this experiment show that the surfactant @ salt system is a potential method for the preparation of carbon nanostructures.

Abstract With the advancement of social network research over time, a research consensus has been reached that the use of social networks in job searching can provide positive returns. This study focused on the heterogeneity in the returns to social networks. Using Job Search and Social Networks (JSNET) survey data on urban residents of China, we examined the differences in the propensity to use social networks in job searching and the returns to social networks in terms of job seekers’ earnings and job satisfaction using propensity score stratification and the heterogeneous treatment effects model (HTE model). The use of social networks in job searching was found to be nonrandomly distributed, and the propensity to use such networks varied according to job seeker characteristics. For job seekers with different propensities, the returns to social networks were also different. Moreover, there was negative selection in the instrumental effect of social network use in the job search process but positive selection in the expressive effect: the higher the propensity to use one’s networks, the lower the income return to social networks and the higher the job satisfaction; the lower the propensity to use one’s networks, the higher the income return and the lower the job satisfaction.

Abstract Abstract A new, precast concrete frame beam-column connection is designed in this research. The connection adopts the assembly mode of the precast column and seam area jointly to maintain the integrity of the joint area and increase the assembly efficiency. Based on the conventional grouting sleeve connection, a disc spring device is constructed on the beam end to improve the ductility of the joint. Ten connecting specimens were tested under low cyclic loads, including two monolithic connections, four ordinary precast connections, and four new precast connections. The test parameters included the joint type and axial pressure ratio, and the difference in the seismic performance was determined by evaluating the failure mode, hysteresis characteristics, stiffness degradation, energy dissipation, and shear deformation of the joint area. Compared to monolithic connections, conventional precast connections display similar hysteresis characteristics. Although their ductility is slightly lower, their bearing capacity is higher. Compared with the previous two connections, the new connection with the built-in disc spring device has superior seismic performance. The axial pressure ratio is a significant aspect in determining the failure mode of the precast connection, and the specimen exhibits less shear damage at a larger axial pressure ratio.

Abstract With the increasing demand for eco-friendly, non-petroleum-based natural rubber (NR) products, sepiolite, a naturally abundant, one-dimensional clay mineral, has been identified as a suitable material for reinforcing NR through the latex compounding method. To create superior NR/sepiolite composites, three silane coupling agents with different functional groups were used to modify sepiolite in situ via grafting or adsorption during the disaggregation and activation of natural sepiolite, which were subsequently mixed with natural rubber latex (NRL) to prepare the composites. The results showed that the modified sepiolite improved the dispersion and interfacial bonding strength with the rubber matrix. VTES-modified sepiolite containing C=C groups slightly improved the performance but retarded the vulcanization of the NR composites, and MPTES and TESPT-modified sepiolites containing -SH and −S 4 − groups, respectively, effectively accelerated vulcanization, inducing the composites to form a denser crosslink network structure, and exhibiting excellent dynamic and static properties, such as the modulus at a 300% increase from 8.82 MPa to 16.87 MPa, a tear strength increase from 49.6 N·mm −1 to 60.3 N·mm −1 , as well as an improved rolling resistance and abrasive resistance of the composites. These findings demonstrate that modified sepiolite can be used to produce high-quality NR/sepiolite composites with enhanced properties.

Abstract Environmental performances have gained great prominence for firms in recent years. This paper empirically tests the relationship between environmental information disclosure and the risk of stock price crashes based on a sample of Chinese A-share listed firms from 2013–2018. The results show that environmental information disclosure has a significant negative correlation with stock price crash risk, with mechanism analysis showing that media coverage plays an intermediary role between them. Further analysis finds that: first, the inhibitory effect of environmental information disclosure on stock price crashes is more significant in companies with a lower proportion of independent directors, which reflects the supervision effect of environmental information disclosure. Second, the role of environmental information disclosure has a greater negative impact on the risk of stock price crashes in industries with low competition, indicating that environmental information disclosure is not a tool for enterprises to compete for resources. Third, the profit motivation of institutional investors restrains the negative impact of environmental information disclosure on price collapse risk. Forth, the level of government environmental governance is an important support for enterprise environmental information disclosure.

Abstract Exchange programs have been found to have a positive impact on regional economic growth, university cooperation, and student academic, and professional development. However, there has been limited analysis of the factors that influence the quality of these programs. In this study, a mixed-methods approach was used to examine regional exchange programs in China. Qualitative research was conducted using Octopus Big Data Crawler software, Timdream.org software, and 33 interviews to develop a questionnaire that covers student expectations, service quality, and satisfaction. Using SPSS 22 and Amos 21, the study analyzed the interactive relationships among expectations, perceived service quality, and satisfaction in the context of regional education integration based on a sample of 246 questionnaires. The results demonstrate that perceived service quality plays an intermediary role in the relationship between expectations and satisfaction, with students’ perceptions of learning quality and interpersonal quality at the receiving university influencing their satisfaction levels. This study provides important insights into the factors that impact the quality of regional exchange programs in China.

Abstract The IL-36 cytokines are known to play various roles in mediating the immune and inflammatory response to tissue injury in a context-dependent manner. This study investigated the role of IL-36R signaling in mediating epithelial wound healing in normal (NL) and diabetic (DM) C57BL/6 mouse corneas. The rate of epithelial wound closure was significantly accelerated in IL-36 receptor-deficient (IL-36R −/− ) compared to wild-type (WT) mice. Wounding increased IL-36α and -36γ but repressed IL-36R antagonist (IL-36Ra) expression in B6 mouse corneal epithelial cells. The wound-induced proinflammatory cytokines CXCL1 and CXCL2 were dampened, while the antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) S100A8 and A9 were augmented in IL-36R −/− mouse corneas. Intriguingly, the expression of AMP LCN2 was augmented at the mRNA level. LCN2 deficiency resulted in an acceleration of epithelial wound healing. IL-36R deficiency also greatly increased the healing rate of the corneal epithelial wound in DM mice. IL-36R deficiency also suppressed IL-1β, IL-1Ra, and ICAM expression in unwounded-DM mice and wounded NL corneas. Opposing IL-1β and ICAM, the expression of IL-Ra in DM corneas of IL-36R −/− mice was augmented. The presence of recombinant IL-1Ra and IL-36Ra accelerated epithelial wound closure in T1DM corneas of B6 mice. Our study revealed an unprecedented role of IL-36R signaling in controlling corneal epithelial wound healing in normal (NL) and diabetic (DM) mice. Our data suggest that IL-36Ra, similar to IL-1Ra, might be a therapeutic reagent for improving wound healing and reducing wound-associated ulceration, particularly in the cornea and potentially in the skin of DM patients.
