Abstract With the rapid development of services such as Industry 4.0 and Internet of Vehicles, it is difficult for traditional cellular networks to meet the needs of network users for quantification, diversification, and greenness in the future. Various cellular networks expand multiple micro-cell nodes and relay nodes under macro-cells to form a multilayer network architecture. Based on this, in the process of data transmission, the links have been repeatedly reduced, and at the same time, the terminal power consumption has been reduced and the running system has been improved. This article will use the ratio of the capacity, energy consumption, and resource allocation of different cellular networks as the main means to optimize the cost. Using graph theory, auction theory, and multipurpose optimization algorithms, we have conducted in-depth research topics on upstream and downstream wireless resource allocation, network relay deployment and transmission scheduling, MMW large-scale multi-antenna transmission technology, and base station energy management. A series of optimization schemes and algorithms are proposed. This dissertation is based on the research of educational system design theory in the field of educational technology so as to carry out the research of music education system design theory suitable for the nature of music subjects and learning and education characteristics. Based on the necessity and importance of music education system design theory, the research framework of music education system design theory is constructed in advance. The voice data acquisition system collects voice data through a network grabber and real-time recording and uses signal processing and pattern recognition technology to automatically classify the collected voice data into three categories: voice, environmental sound, and music. After establishing the audio data deployment strategy, simulation method, and architecture design based on heterogeneous cellular network, this paper designs the corresponding music composition ...

Abstract Abstract Image classification plays an important role in computer vision. The existing convolutional neural network methods have some problems during image classification process, such as low accuracy of tumor classification and poor ability of feature expression and feature extraction. Therefore, we propose a novel ResNet101 model based on dense dilated convolution for medical liver tumors classification. The multi-scale feature extraction module is used to extract multi-scale features of images, and the receptive field of the network is increased. The depth feature extraction module is used to reduce background noise information and focus on effective features of the focal region. To obtain broader and deeper semantic information, a dense dilated convolution module is deployed in the network. This module combines the advantages of Inception, residual structure, and multi-scale dilated convolution to obtain a deeper level of feature information without causing gradient explosion and gradient disappearance. To solve the common feature loss problems in the classification network, the up- down-sampling module in the network is improved, and multiple convolution kernels with different scales are cascaded to widen the network, which can effectively avoid feature loss. Finally, experiments are carried out on the proposed method. Compared with the existing mainstream classification networks, the proposed method can improve the classification performance, and finally achieve accurate classification of liver tumors. The effectiveness of the proposed method is further verified by ablation experiments. Highlights (a) The multi-scale feature extraction module is introduced to extract multi-scale features of images, it can extract deep context information of the lesion region and surrounding tissues to enhance the feature extraction ability of the network. (b) The depth feature extraction module is used to focus on the local features of the lesion region from both channel and space, weaken the influence of irrelevant ...

Abstract Challenges and competition are being faced in higher education. Students’ unsatisfactory academic performance and dropouts are obvious problems worldwide. The “student-centered” pedagogy requires universities to pay attention to the needs of students. Research has demonstrated that academic self-efficacy is a positive psychological variable in the prevention of students becoming academically burnt out and withdrawing from their studies. By increasing academic engagement and improving academic performance, academic self-efficacy can reduce the dropout rates. This study attempted to achieve an in-depth comprehension of the nexus between academic self-efficacy and academic achievement among university students and the mediating role of academic engagement in the association between the two. A total of 258 participants were included in the cross-sectional study. The relationships among academic self-efficacy, academic engagement, and academic performance were examined using Pearson correlation coefficients. In order to examine the intermediating role of academic engagement in the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic performance, a mediation analysis was applied. A favorable and strong correlation among academic self-efficacy, academic engagement, and academic performance was found in this study. Academic self-efficacy can be a direct predictor of academic achievement and can also be an indirect predictor of academic achievement via the intermediating effect of academic engagement. The findings of this study provide theoretical and practical recommendations for university researchers and administrators. The findings confirm the mediating role of academic engagement between academic self-efficacy and academic performance. The results provide universities with evidence for use in the design of projects and programs for the improvement of students’ academic performance. Increasing the level of academic self-efficacy and enhancing academic engagement are of utmost importance for university students to ...

Abstract Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSMs), with their simple design, small size, and high-power factor, are ideally suited for realizing high-power AC drives and are widely used in various industries. In this study, Fuzzy Active Disturbance Rejection Control (Fuzzy-ADRC) is used to control the speed of the PMSM. When a slight external disturbance occurs, this control strategy maintains the suppression characteristics of the self-excited control for the disturbance and enhances its ability to compensate for the disturbance. First, a mathematical model was developed to study the surface mount PMSM. Then, a motor control simulation model was created using PI control, vector control, and other control methods. The verification results indicate that the improved Fuzzy-ADRC system performs well under both internal and external minor disturbances. It exhibits a faster dynamic response and reduced regulation time (0.026 s to 0.017 s) compared to the traditional ADRC system. Furthermore, it shows less overshoot (reduced from 70% to 2.9%) compared to the Sliding Mode Observer (SMO). Taken together, the improved Fuzzy-ADRC system is characterized by small steady-state error, high load capacity, and control accuracy. With the assistance of this control strategy, the system can track speed with high accuracy and possesses stronger anti-interference capability to mitigate load disturbances.

Abstract Nowadays, autonomous robots are expected to accomplish more complex tasks and operate in an open-world environment with uncertainties. Developing software for such robots involves the design of task planning paradigms and the implementation of robotic software architectures, making software development rather tricky and time-consuming. In recent decades, component-based software development approaches have been increasingly adopted in robotics to improve software development efficiency by reusing data and controlling flows between components. However, few works have tackled the more critical issue of reusing complex high-level task planning paradigms and robotic software architectures. To make up for the limitation, this paper first identifies the mainstream task planning paradigms and proposes a set of novel patterns for interaction pipelines between the robotic functions of sensing, planning, and acting. Then this paper presents a novel Behavior Tree (BT) based development framework Structural-BT, which provides a set of reusable BT structures that implement abstract interaction pipelines while maintaining interfaces for task-specific customization. The Structural-BT framework supports the modular design of structure functionalities and allows easy extensibility of the inner planning flows between BT components. With the Structural-BT framework, software engineers can develop robotic software by flexibly composing BT structures to formulate the skeleton software architecture and implement task-specific algorithms when necessary. In the experiment, this paper develops robotic software for diverse task scenarios and selects the baseline approaches of Robot Operating System (ROS) and classical BT development frameworks for comparison. By quantitatively measuring the reuse frequencies and ratios of BT structures, the Structural-BT framework has been shown to be more efficient than the baseline approaches for robotic software development.

Abstract The rapid technology advances in medical devices make possible the generation of vast amounts of data, which contain massive quantities of diagnostic information. Interactively accessing and sharing the acquired data on the Internet is critically important in telemedicine. However, due to the lack of efficient algorithms and high computational cost, collaborative medical data exploration on the Internet is still a challenging task in clinical settings. Therefore, we develop a web-based medical image rendering and visual synchronization software platform, in which novel algorithms are created for parallel data computing and image feature enhancement, where Node.js and Socket.IO libraries are utilized to establish bidirectional connections between server and clients in real time. In addition, we design a new methodology to stream medical information among all connected users, whose identities and input messages can be automatically stored in database and extracted in web browsers. The presented software framework will provide multiple medical practitioners with immediate visual feedback and interactive information in applications such as collaborative therapy planning, distributed treatment, and remote clinical health care. Abstract The conventional Zitterbewegung (ZB) refers to the jittering motion of a particle or wavepacket in space induced by the spin-orbital coupling. Here we show that the analogue of Zitterbewegung of bosonic Bogoliubov quasi-particle manifests itself in a form of periodic distortion of wave packet because of its dynamics is governed by a non-hermitian operator. The effective spin-orbital coupling (SOC) is due to the fact that the two modes (pseudo-spin) in the Bogoliubov de Gennes (BdG) equation are coupled to the spatial momentum. These results are illustrated with spin wave excitations in antiferromagnet and phonon excitations in BEC system.

Abstract Network based medical data computing and collaborative visualization have been commonly used in remote medicine and distributed diagnosis, where visualizing 3D medical data on web browsers and sharing medical information on internet are critically important. However, due to the lack of efficient algorithms and compatible graphics hardware support, there are still some major technical challenges in web based medical data visualization and information exploration on internet. To address these practical issues, we created a new network based medical data rendering and information sharing system, where an Apache HTTP Server was applied to handle data information, and MySQL and PHP were exploited for data storage and management. In this system, medical data rendering and computation were supported with GPU and WebGL 2.0 (WebGL2), and a novel data information extraction algorithm was designed to optimize data storage and management. Taking advantage of the new 3D features of WebGL2, a web based raycasting algorithm was developed to deliver real-time data visualization on web browsers, in which a novel voxel classification method was integrated for color mapping and high-quality image generation. The developed medical information system can deliver 60 ± 2 frames per second rendering performance for high-quality medical data visual exploration on modern browsers as well as medical information communication on internet. The system has been seamlessly integrated with web server, database and client computers equipped with modern graphics hardware, which has wide applications in the fields such as internet based computer-aided medical decision and education, as well as distributed disease diagnosis. Abstract Abstract As the second-largest oil producer and natural gas exporter, Russia’s war with Ukraine has severely impacted the energy market. To what extent has the war influenced crude oil prices, and has it altered the long-term dynamics of oil prices? An objective analysis of the effects of the Russia–Ukraine war on the crude oil market can assist relevant entities in developing both short-term emergency strategies and long-term response plans. This study establishes an analytical framework of the event analysis method based on multiresolution causality testing (EMC). The results of the multiresolution causality testing reveal a significant one-way causality between the Russia–Ukraine war and crude oil prices. Afterward, using the event analysis based on variational mode decomposition (VMD), from October 1, 2021, to August 25, 2022, as the event window, we found that the war and its chain events caused the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices to increase by $37.14, a 52.33% surge, and the Brent crude oil price to rise by $41.49, a 56.33% increase. During the event window, the Russia–Ukraine war can account for 70.72% and 73.62% of the fluctuation in WTI and Brent crude oil prices, respectively. Furthermore, the war amplified oil price volatility and fundamentally altered the trend of crude oil prices. Consequently, this study proposes four recommendations: the establishment of an emergency management mechanism for the oil market, the diversification of oil and gas imports by energy-importing countries, the steady advancement of energy transformation, and the judicious use of financial instruments by enterprises to hedge risks.
