Abstract The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of a flavonoid‐rich fresh fruit juice on cardiovascular, oxidative stress, and biochemical parameters during the yo‐yo intermittent recovery test (YYIRT). Twenty‐two healthy males subjects participated in this study divided into two groups: An experimental group (EG: n = 11) who consumed the antioxidant supplement and a control group (CG: n = 11). All participants performed two test sessions at 07:00 hr before and after 2 weeks of supplementation with Opuntia ficus‐indica juice. Blood samples were taken before (P1) and immediately (P2) after the YYIRT. Our results showed that following the 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐ picrylhydrazyl (DPPH●) test, the Opuntia ficus‐indica juice has an antioxidant capacity for capturing free radicals (p < .05) and reducing oxidative stress related to exercise. Concerning biochemical and cardiovascular parameters, our results showed a significant increase on total cholesterol (TC) (p < .01), triglycerides (TG) (p < .05), high‐density lipoprotein (HDL) (p < .01), low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) (p < .01), creatine kinase (CK) (p < .01), lactate deshydrogenase (LDH) (p < .01), glucose (GLC) (p < .01), systolic (SBP), and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) (p < .01) immediately after exercise. However, TC (p < .05), TG (p < .05) and LDL (p < .05), the maximal heart rate (HRmax), the CK (p < .05), and LDH (p < .01) as well as the malondialdehyde (MDA) (p < .01) demonstrated a significant decrease after supplementation of Opuntia ficus‐indica juice before and immediately after YYIRT. However, no significant effect on HDL (p > .05), GLC (p > .05) levels nor the SBP and DBP (p > .05) was observed after supplementation with Opuntia ficus‐indica juice. The supplementation leads to an improvement on YYIRT performance (The total distance covered during the YYIRT, VO2max, VMA) and the rating of perceived exertion (RPE). Opuntia ficus‐indica juice has a potent antioxidant activity that reduces total and LDL‐cholesterol with only a moderate lowering of HDL‐cholesterol and oxidative stress. Moreover, supplementation decreases muscle damage caused by the endurance exercise.

Abstract Objective: The purpose of this present study to investigate the lipid profile levels and basal body mass index in preeclampsia and normal pregnancy in Bangladeshi women.
Material and methods: This case-control study was conducted at Sheba Hospital Kaligonj Bangladesh with 70 participants among 35 normal pregnancy (control) and 35 preeclampsia women (case) were enrolled from August 2018 to July 2019. Blood samples were obtained for analysis of total cholesterol, triglyceride and high-density lipoprotein by enzymatic assays and low-density lipoprotein by using Fried Ewald's formula in between 22-36 weeks of gestation.
Results: This study found the mean age of preeclampsia and normal pregnancy women were 24.71±2.56 and 23.09±2.1 respectively with significant (P= 0.005). Basal body mass index, total cholesterol, triglyceride and low-density lipoprotein significantly higher (P=0.002), (P= 0.000), (P= 0.022) and (P=0.000) in preeclampsia compared to normal pregnancy respectively. While high-density lipoprotein comparatively lower in preeclampsia than normal pregnancy and consider significant as (P=0.037).
Conclusion: Abnormal lipid profile and increased body mass index is contributed to the development of preeclampsia. The frequent antenatal monitoring of lipid profiles provides the status which helps to require management and reduces the preeclampsia which enhances maternal and fetal wellbeing and fetal outcome.

Abstract The burden of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is disproportionately high in low and middle-income countries. Barriers to implementing effective antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention programs include the lack of a structural framework, consensus guidelines, educational opportunities, trained personnel, funding, and access to resources such as manpower, information technology, and diagnostics. Socioeconomic instability with supply chain interruptions, poor skilled staff retention, absence of mandates, and inadequate support to enforce existing policies further aggravates the situation. Failure to implement measures to tackle AMR and HAIs effectively will result in repercussions globally.

Abstract Breast cancer incidence in sub-Saharan Africa is among the lowest in the world; however, mortality is as high as in high-incidence countries because of poor survival rates. Most breast cancer patients in sub-Saharan Africa are diagnosed at advanced stages after prolonged symptomatic periods. Understanding the reasons why women in sub-Saharan Africa seek care after the onset of symptoms is essential to promoting early diagnosis and ultimately improve their cancer survival.

Abstract COVID-19 a pandemic disease caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus, which has been emerged in Wuhan city China from early December 2019 which subsequently spreading globally. As a consequence of the physiological adaptive changes and immunosuppressive condition during pregnancy are more susceptible to respiratory tract infection and pneumonia that perhaps makes them more at risk to COVID-19. There is scarce information available on COVID-19 pregnancy and no reliable evidence for vertical transmission. It is a concern that newborns are risk from postpartum contamination. Meanwhile, there was no vaccine and specific therapeutic drugs for COVID19. The Multidisciplinary team will manage by close supervision, isolated negative pressure room, and routinely fetal monitoring. The timing and mode of delivery depend on the critical condition of the mother and fetal. The newborns need a14 days period of precautionary isolation. In the present study, addressed the most recent data on 149 pregnant women and 96 newborns with typical symptoms and planning of management which response to COVID-19 that will help for frontline doctor to the management of COVID-19 associated pregnancy and newborns baby. Repeated testing, contact tracing and self-isolation will assist to control the spread of SARS-CoV2 infection and COVID-19 disease until specific vaccine and pharmaceuticals drugs of COVID-19 are available.

Abstract Financial technology, also known as Fintech, is changing banking for the better worldwide through companies with innovative business models, fresh products and services. Indeed, operators in this industry offer various financial services that were once the exclusive domain of banks; accordingly, Fintech can be an opportunity for both banks and customers. Therefore, this paper aims to identify the main features contributing to clients’ satisfaction and trust when using Fintech-based services in their banking transactions. This study presents and interprets the results of a survey on clients’ preferences and willingness to use the Fintech services offered by their banks. The scores were calculated based on analyze of variance (ANOVA) and Chi 2 methods, using Python language. Even though there were minor differences in detail and other trivial variables, both methods identified the same main factors than lead to banking customers’ satisfaction with Fintech and trust in the functioning of this industry.
