Abstract Purpose: Using continuous-pulse irradiation mode application for performing photodynamic therapy sessions to introduce a new method, and conclude results of clinical research focused on vulvar leukoplakia photodynamic therapy efficiency in combination with topical aqueous «Alasens®» solution administration.
Method: Seventy patients (average age of 61 years) diagnosed with vulvar leukoplakia disease (2018 ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code N90.4) were examined. The following values represent doses of combined mode photodynamic therapy session: 12 J/cm
Results: Single-therapy session efficiency was estimated by a fluorescent signal reduction in the pathological region after irradiation, and the direct correlation between photosensitizer photobleaching and disease regression was registered. Photodynamic therapy course included three procedures, with each session applied in 24 -h intervals, and when necessary, an additional course of therapy was applied 60 days afterward. Significant post-treatment results took effect after 2-3 courses with symptom presence reduced or fully regressed depending on the initial severity of the disease. Additionally, side effects and sequelae remained absent in all cases.
Conclusion: The result of methods applied during the clinical research period indicate strong potential in utilizing such promising technology to contribute to the possible prevention of malignant transformation and the treatment of vulvar leukoplakia.

Abstract Data on the reaction γp→K^{+}Λ from the CLAS experiments are used to derive the leading multipoles, E_{0+}, M_{1-}, E_{1+}, and M_{1+}, from the production threshold to 2180 MeV in 24 slices of the invariant mass. The four multipoles are determined without any constraints. The multipoles are fitted using a multichannel L+P model that allows us to search for singularities and to extract the positions of poles on the complex energy plane in an almost model-independent method. The multipoles are also used as additional constraints in an energy-dependent analysis of a large body of pion and photoinduced reactions within the Bonn-Gatchina partial wave analysis. The study confirms the existence of poles due to nucleon resonances with spin parity J^{P}=1/2^{-}, 1/2^{+}, and 3/2^{+} in the region at about 1.9 GeV.

Abstract Data on the beam asymmetry Σ in the photoproduction of η mesons off protons are reported for tagged photon energies from 1130 to 1790 MeV (mass range from W=1748  MeV to W=2045  MeV). The data cover the full solid angle that allows for a precise moment analysis. For the first time, a strong cusp effect in a polarization observable has been observed that is an effect of a branch-point singularity at the pη^{'} threshold [E_{γ}=1447  MeV (W=1896  MeV)]. The latest BnGa partial wave analysis includes the new beam asymmetry data and yields a strong indication for the N(1895)1/2^{-} nucleon resonance, demonstrating the importance of including all singularities for a correct determination of partial waves and resonance parameters.

Title translation The feeding of patients through the jejunostoma in the early postoperative period after gastrectomy and proximal resection of the stomach.
Abstract The authors have analyzed the course and outcome of the early postoperative period in 45 patients with carcinoma of the stomach who had been subjected to gastrectomy and proximal stomach resection. A lower number of postoperative complications, including those with lethal outcomes, earlier normalization of certain important parameters of homeostasis were recorded in the patients with decompressive-feeding jejunostoma established at the final stage of the operation (18 subjects). A variant of the diet based on enpits for feeding through jejunostoma has been presented. No complications associated with the establishment and functioning of the jejunostoma were observed. At the same time the jejunostoma makes possible a rapid diagnosis of certain complications and their conservative treatment without laparotomy. The results of the observation have evidenced that early dosed loading of the digestive tract promotes its more rapid adaptation to new functional conditions.
