    Abstract Dipicolinic acid (DPA) is an aromatic dicarboxylic acid that mediates heat-stability and is easily biodegradable and non-toxic. Currently, the production of DPA is fossil-based, but bioproduction of DPA may help to replace fossil-based plastics as it can be used for the production of polyesters or polyamides. Moreover, it serves as a stabilizer for peroxides or organic materials. The antioxidative, antimicrobial and antifungal effects of DPA make it interesting for pharmaceutical applications.     Abstract The aromatic amino acid l-tryptophan serves as a precursor for many valuable compounds such as neuromodulators, indoleamines and indole alkaloids. In this work, tryptophan biosynthesis was extended by halogenation followed by decarboxylation to the respective tryptamines or cleavage to the respective indoles. Either the tryptophanase genes tnaAs from E. coli and Proteus vulgaris or the aromatic amino acid decarboxylase genes AADCs from Bacillus atrophaeus, Clostridium sporogenes, and Ruminococcus gnavus were expressed in Corynebacterium glutamicum strains producing (halogenated) tryptophan.     Abstract Media literacy may help medical trainees optimize evidence-based decision-making. Many prescriptions written are not evidence-based, resulting in unnecessary morbidity and mortality. In this study, we aimed to assess feasibility, acceptability, and initial efficacy of a media literacy prescribing program. We recruited 30 medical students, who completed animated video modules about pharmaceutical marketing and prescribing. We used a process evaluation and open-ended items to assess feasibility and acceptability, and knowledge tests before and after the intervention to assess efficacy. The program was feasible to implement and well-accepted by participants. After the educational intervention, knowledge and attitude targets around evidence-based prescribing and drug marketing improved.

    Abstract Ziel des Projektes ist die Attraktivitaets- und Nutzungssteigerung von Elektromobilitaet. durch die multimodale Verknuepfung elektromobiler Angebote sowohl im Individualverkehr als auch im OePNV. Fokus ist die Maximierung des Kundennutzens durch eine Vereinfachung der Systemzugaenge und eine zielgruppengerechte Konzeption und Vermarktung der Angebote. Basis dieses Vorhabens ist ein deutlicher Fortschritt in der Informations-, Zugangs- und Abrechnungstechnologie, die als System in dieser Form und Komplexitaet weltweit noch nicht existiert und damit Vorbildcharakter erlangen wird. Das Ziel der BW-Bank und deren Teilvorhabens ist es ist, die Bezahl- und Bonusfunktionalitaet fuer das Gesamtvorhaben zu etablieren. Die Integration einer Bezahl- und Bonusfunktionalitaet unterscheidet die Stuttgarter ServiceCard gravierend von anderen Mobilitaetskarten in Deutschland, die bisherige Einzigartigkeit der Kombination von EMV-Chip-Bezahltechnologie und der OePNV-Ticketing-Anwendung VDV-Kernapplikation traegt zur Beschleunigung des Nachfragemarktes und somit Akzeptanz von E-Mobilitaet bei und bringt zusaetzlichen Nutzen sowie zusaetzliche Ertraege.
