Abstract Mobile Internet experience has been of increasing interest. Services accessed via smartphone applications shall provide satisfying Quality of Experience (QoE), irrespective of end user location, time of the day, and other circumstances. Unfortunately, current LTE networks often don't provide constant user throughput, one of the major system influence factors to mobile Internet QoE. In this paper, we conducted an exemplary measurement study in LTE networks, comparing the QoE of mobile networks in an urban and a rural region. Our results show that there are significant differences concerning the network speed which can result in unsatisfactory service quality depending on the application to be used. When evaluating the QoE for multiple users who are using the same base station in a specific area, user satisfaction decreases drastically, especially in rural areas. Our work encourages for future work to focus on this gap between the QoE in urban and rural areas.

    Abstract S.86-92

5G promises many new vertical service areas beyond simple communication and data transfer. We propose cooperative passive coherent location (CPCL), a distributed MIMO radar service, which can be offered by mobile radio network operators as a service for public user groups. CPCL comes as an inherent part of the radio network and takes advantage of the most important key features proposed for 5G. It extends the well-known idea of passive radar (also known as passive coherent location, PCL) by introducing cooperative principles. These range from cooperative, synchronous radio signaling and MAC up to radar data fusion on the sensor and scenario levels. By using software-defined radio and network paradigms, as well as real-time mobile edge computing facilities intended for 5G, CPCL promises to become a ubiquitous radar service that may be adaptive, reconfigurable, and perhaps cognitive. As CPCL makes double use of radio resources (in terms of both frequency bands and hardware), it can be considered a green technology. Although we introduce the CPCL idea from the viewpoint of vehicle-to-vehicle/infrastructure communication, it can definitely also be applied to many other applications in industry, transport, logistics, and for safety and security applications.

Title translation Psychodynamic aspects of coping with illness in stroke--experiences with a psychotherapy group.
Abstract The authors describe their experience of a group--psychotherapy with stroke patients during the phase of inpatient neurological rehabilitation. The process of coping in stroke patients shows similarities with grief reactions following the loss of important objects. But it is usually complicated by the fact that the physical injury is experienced as a narcissistic trauma resulting in low self--esteem and in feelings of anger and despair. Psychotherapeutic interventions can help to deal with such negative affects and should facilitate a mourning process, which is inevitable if adaptation to a life with a physical handicap should succeed.

Abstract This white paper is the outcome of the W\"urzburg seminar on "Crowdsourced Network and QoE Measurements" which took place from 25-26 September 2019 in W\"urzburg, Germany. International experts were invited from industry and academia. They are well known in their communities, having different backgrounds in crowdsourcing, mobile networks, network measurements, network performance, Quality of Service (QoS), and Quality of Experience (QoE). The discussions in the seminar focused on how crowdsourcing will support vendors, operators, and regulators to determine the Quality of Experience in new 5G networks that enable various new applications and network architectures. As a result of the discussions, the need for a white paper manifested, with the goal of providing a scientific discussion of the terms "crowdsourced network measurements" and "crowdsourced QoE measurements", describing relevant use cases for such crowdsourced data, and its underlying challenges. During the seminar, those main topics were identified, intensively discussed in break-out groups, and brought back into the plenum several times. The outcome of the seminar is this white paper at hand which is - to our knowledge - the first one covering the topic of crowdsourced network and QoE measurements.

Abstract 5G promises many new vertical service areas beyond simple communication and data transfer. We propose CPCL (cooperative passive coherent location), a distributed MIMO radar service, which can be offered by mobile radio network operators as a service for public user groups. Although we introduce the CPCL idea from the viewpoint of vehicle-to-vehicle/infrastructure (V2X) communication, it can definitely also be applied to many other applications in industry, transport, logistics, and for safety and security applications.

Abstract Double-spin asymmetries of semiinclusive cross sections for the production of identified pions and kaons have been measured in deep inelastic scattering of polarized positrons on a polarized deuterium target. Five helicity distributions including those for three sea quark flavors were extracted from these data together with reanalyzed previous data for identified pions from a hydrogen target. These distributions are consistent with zero for all three sea flavors. A recently predicted flavor asymmetry in the polarization of the light quark sea appears to be disfavored by the data.

Abstract Exclusive coherent and incoherent electroproduction of the rho(0) meson from 1H and 14N targets has been studied at the HERMES experiment as a function of coherence length (l(c)), corresponding to the lifetime of hadronic fluctuations of the virtual photon, and squared four-momentum of the virtual photon (-Q2). The ratio of 14N to 1H cross sections per nucleon, called nuclear transparency, was found to increase (decrease) with increasing l(c) for coherent (incoherent) rho(0) electroproduction. For fixed l(c), a rise of nuclear transparency with Q2 is observed for both coherent and incoherent rho(0) production, which is in agreement with theoretical calculations of color transparency.
