Title translation Non-invasive neurostimulation in migraine.
Abstract Migraine is the most common chronic neurological disease. Migraine is in the top 5 causes that reduce the quality of life. In recent years, neuromodulation techniques are successfully used with primary headaches. Several variants of non-invasive neuromodulation have been shown to be effective in various forms of migraine. This review analyzes clinical trials and case reports of the effectiveness and safety of non-invasive stimulation of the first branch of the trigeminal nerve in migraine.

Abstract The relevance of the chosen topic is formulated in the article, a milling grain shredder is proposed. calculations of the productivity of the milling grain shredder are given. Theoretical studies have determined the grain supply through the chopper loading window during the movement of the milling cutter tooth in the loading window area. Grain feed along the milling cutter axis is calculated. It was found out that the main limiting parameter in terms of productivity is the grain supply along the axis of the milling cutter. For the developed shredder, the theoretical productivity is calculated, which varies from 90 to 100 kg/h with an increase in the angular velocity of the cutter from 185 rad/s to 206 rad/s

Title translation Migraine 'masks': differential diagnosis of acute headache.
Abstract Differential diagnosis of migraine, can be difficult, especially of migraine with aura. On the one hand, some diseases can produce symptoms similar to migraine (cerebral aneurysm before rupture, reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome). On the other hand, migraine with aura and some other disorders are conditions that have common pathophysiological mechanisms (e.g., CADASIL and MELAS syndrome, antiphospholipid syndrome). Thirdly, clinical presentations of migraine are often difficult to distinguish from features of other headache conditions (migraine with aura - transient ischemic attack, migraine with visual aura - occipital epilepsy). The author discusses the differential diagnosis of acute headache, especially thunderclap headache, and main strategies of effective treatment of migraine attacks.

Abstract Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a condition due to high intracranial pressure in the absence of an intracranial mass lesion, venous thrombosis or brain infection. It mostly occurs in young obese females. Currently, the incidence of IIH in obese women is estimated to be 12 per 100,000 people per year. Epidemiological data demonstrate the increase in incidence in this group: 323 cases per 100,000. IIH can cause visual loss in 1-2% of the patients during the year before the diagnosis and beginning of treatment. IIH treatment is a complex multidisciplinary problem that includes a body-mass reduction program, conservative pharmacological treatment, prolonged ophthalmological study and, if necessary, timely neurosurgical treatment.

Abstract The materials used in the construction of implants contacting with blood should be resistant to thrombus formation. One of the stages of a thrombogenicity assessment of materials is to determine the number of platelets adhered to its surface during the exposure to flowing blood under ex viAvo conditions. The aim of this study was to develop a modified test for screening assessment of materials for their thrombogenicity in contact with native blood. For the purpose of the study, flow chambers of were developed, allowing to mountain simultaneously 16 material samples. The chamber was connected to the circulatory system of the experimental animal through arterial and venous ports in such a way that blood, passing through the chamber, returned to the animal. The exposure time was 1 min. After perfusion the samples were rinsed and stained. The number of platelets adhered per unit area was calculated automatically that allowed significant error diminution. A total of 9 experiments were carried out on pigs under ex vivo conditions. The method was validated using standard samples of pyrolytic carbon, VT-6 titanium, glass, and polytetrafluorethylene as reference materials. New materials for synthetic vascular prostheses have been investigated. The developed technique makes it possible to study the thrombogenicity of polymeric materials with sufficient reliability.

Abstract Equine blood plasma/serum and intermediates must be monitored for the presence of live viruses pathogenic in humans during production of equine immunoglobulins. Information concerning low-cost and simple methods for the detection of live horse viruses pathogenic and non-pathogenic to humans was gained using data of modern domestic and foreign literature. These methods are based on cultivation of these viruses on sensitive biosystems. The presented information can be used to set up blood plasma/serum control of horses at different stages of immunoglobulin production, i.e., when taking blood from horses during their quarantine period, when collecting blood from immunized horses, and before bottling the medicinal intermediate in the primary package.

Abstract The aim of the work was an experimental evaluation of the characteristics of the kit for the rapid immunochemical detection of orthopoxviruses (OPV). The kit is based on the method of one-stage dot-immunoassay on flat protein arrays using gold conjugates and a silver developer. Rabbit polyclonal antibodies against the vaccinia virus were used as capture and detection reagents. The sensitivity of detection of OPV and the specificity of the analysis were assessed using culture crude preparations (monkeypox virus, vaccinia virus, rabbitpox virus, cowpox virus, and ectromelia virus), a suspension from a crust from a human vaccination site as well as blood and tissue suspensions of infected rabbits. It has been shown that the assay using the kit makes it possible to detect OPV within 36 min at a temperature of 18-40 °C in unpurified culture samples of the virus and clinical samples in the range of 10

Title translation Etiopathophysiological mechanism of systemic and local allergic sensitization in the development of chronic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis.
Abstract The persistence, development and exacerbation of chronic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis all involve sensitization to respiratory allergens. The allergic response in question is the IgE-mediated mechanism of rhinitis, which often leads to a complex of etiopathophysiological malfunctions in various organs and systems. For clinical classification and further management of patients, it is important not to miss the detection of both systemic allergic sensitization to aeroallergens (which is achieved by conducting skin prick test or detecting the allergen-specific immunoglobulin E in the blood) and local sensitization (which can be confirmed by conducting nasal provocation test or detecting the nasal-specific immunoglobulin E in nasal mucosa). Before a full examination is conducted and both systemic and local sensitization are ruled out, the diagnosis of non-allergic rhinitis and the management of a patient with non-allergic nasal inflammation may be premature.
