Abstract Purpose: With increasing studies, non-steroidal mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) antagonists have been increasingly recognized as a major novel dimension in cardiorenal disease therapy. This bibliometric analysis aimed to uncover current research status and identify future research directions in the study of non-steroidal MR antagonists to inform subsequent investigations.
Methods: Relevant English-language literature was retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection on January 10, 2024. Analyses of countries, institutions, authors, journals, documents, cited references and keywords were performed by the CiteSpace and VOSviewer software.
Results: Overall, 498 documents, including 297 articles and 201 reviews, were included and analyzed. The United States (n = 188), Bayer AG (n = 78), and Professor Peter Kolkhof (n = 59) were the most prolific country, institution, and author in this field, respectively. Cluster analysis of cited references identified major clusters like cardiovascular disease, chronic kidney disease, and omecamtiv mecarbil. Keyword analysis indicated that sodium-glucose transport protein (SGLT)-2 inhibitors, pharmacotherapy, clinical trial, and guideline have emerged recently.
Conclusion: The field of non-steroidal MR antagonists is gradually gaining momentum as a novel pharmacotherapy in cardiorenal diseases, especially diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, and heart failure. Future studies will focus on add-on pharmacotherapy by combining non-steroidal MR antagonists with SGLT-2 inhibitors and the development and publication of clinical guidelines to facilitate patient management.

Abstract Considering the competition of informal recycling enterprises in the waste and old product recycling market, this paper analyzes the trade-in strategy of manufacturers and discusses the effect of implementing trade-in on the competition in the recycling market by comparing changes in recycling market shares, recycling prices, and profits before and after the implementation of a trade-in program. Without a trade-in program, manufacturers are always in an inferior position in the competition with informal recycling enterprises in the recycling market. With the implementation of a trade-in program, the recycling prices provided by manufacturers and shares of recycling market of manufacturers not only increase with the earnings of processing a unit old product, but also increase with the total profit margin of sales of new products and recycling of old products. The implementation of a trade-in program can enhance the competitiveness of manufacturers in their competition with informal recycling enterprises, causing manufacturers to obtain more shares and profits in the recycling market, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of manufacturers in the sale of new products and the recycling of old products.

Abstract Training with "Extended Reality" or X-Reality (XR) systems can undoubtedly enhance the control of the myoelectric prostheses. However, there is no consensus on which factors improve the efficiency of skill transfer from virtual training to actual prosthesis abilities. This review examines the current status and clinical applications of XR in the field of myoelectric prosthesis training and analyses possible influences on skill migration. We have conducted a thorough search on databases in the field of prostheses using keywords such as extended reality, virtual reality and serious gaming. Our scoping review encompassed relevant applications, control methods, performance evaluation and assessment metrics. Our findings indicate that the implementation of XR technology for myoelectric rehabilitative training on prostheses provides considerable benefits. Additionally, there are numerous standardised methods available for evaluating training effectiveness. Recently, there has been a surge in the number of XR-based training tools for myoelectric prostheses, with an emphasis on user engagement and virtual training evaluation. Insufficient attention has been paid to significant limitations in the behaviour, functionality, and usage patterns of XR and myoelectric prostheses, potentially obstructing the transfer of skills and prospects for clinical application. Improvements are recommended in four critical areas: activities of daily living, training strategies, feedback, and the alignment of the virtual environment with the physical devices.

Abstract In the context of regular epidemic prevention and control, this paper considers a two-stage tourism supply chain consisting of a scenic spot that attracts tourists through advertising and a travel agency that invests in service improvement and epidemic prevention. By establishing theoretical game models of a tourism supply chain, we investigate how the service level and advertising level can affect the retail price, product service level, and profits of the supply chain. The results show that the service level of travel agencies could improve consumers' preferences, expand the market demand for tourism products, and improve the efficiency of the supply chain to achieve a win-win situation and increase the profits of the scenic spot and the travel agency. The retailer price, service level, promotion level, and supply chain profit all increase as the service coefficient and advertising coefficient increase, and the speed of the increase is higher for the centralized model than for other models. Some valuable information could be provided for supply chain enterprises to develop collaborative strategies and promote tourism supply chain management practices.

Abstract To investigate the clinical characteristics of Eagle syndrome (ES) and evaluate psychological distress of the patients. Ten cases of ES were enrolled, clinical characteristics and management were analyzed. Psychological disorders of the patients were assessed by the test of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS). There were 8 females and 2 males varying from 34 to 56 years with a mean age of 44.86 ± 8.38 years. The main complaints included foreign body sensation of pharynx, odynophagia, vertigo with turning of the head-neck, pain of anterolateral neck, and toothache. Three cases were right-side affected, 6 cases were left-sided and 1 case was bilateral. Radiographic examination showed the elongated styloid process of bilateral in all cases, however, hypertrophy, improper inclination, abnormal angulation of styloid process and more complete calcification of stylohoid ligament of the complained side were observed compared to the opposite side. Eight cases suffered from anxiety and/or depression. A surgical intervention was carried out on 6 patients to resect the elongated styloid process, the symptoms and mental distress disappeared after the operation and no recurrence was found in their follow-ups. Meticulous interrogation of illness history, proper examination, and radiological studies may be valuable in diagnostic confirmation of ES. It is the hyperostosis, abnormal angulation of the styloid process rather than the simple elongation which is more likely to be attributed to the development of ES. Psychological disorders in ES patients were observed in our study and should be paid more attention in the future research.

Abstract Leptoquark (LQ) models can be the solution to the $(g-2)_{\mu}$ anomaly because of the chiral enhancements. In this work, we consider the models extended by the LQ and vector-like quark (VLQ) simultaneously, which can be used to explain the anomaly because of the top quark and top partner (denoted as $T$) mixing. For the one LQ and one VLQ extended models, there are contributions from the top and $T$ quark. In the minimal LQ models, only the $R_2$ and $S_1$ representations can lead to the chiral enhancements. Here, we find one new $S_3$ solution to the anomaly in the presence of $(X,T,B)_{L,R}$ triplet. We also consider the one LQ and two VLQ extended models, which can solve the anomaly even in the absence of top interactions and mixings. Then, we propose new LQ search channels under the constraints of $(g-2)_{\mu}$. Besides the traditional $t\mu$ decay channel, the LQ can also decay into $T\mu$ final states, which will lead to the characteristic multi-top and multi-muon signals at hadron colliders.

Abstract Background: The H5N1 influenza virus is a cause of severe pneumonia. Co-infection of influenza virus and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) may lead to poor prognosis of patients during the COVID-19 epidemic. However, reports on patients co-infected with avian influenza virus and SARS-CoV-2 are scarce.
Case presentation: A 52-year-old woman presented with a fever, which has persisted for the past eight days, along with worsening shortness of breath and decreased blood pressure. Computed tomography (CT) revealed an air bronchogram, lung consolidation, and bilateral pleural effusion. The subsequent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) of the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) revealed positivity for H5N1 and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
Conclusion: The H5N1 influenza virus is a cause of severe pneumonia. The clinical presentation of the patient had a predomination of H5N1 influenza rather than COVID-19. A PCR analysis for the identification of the virus is necessary to reveal the pathogen causing the severe pneumonia. The patient exhibited an excellent prognosis upon the use of the appropriate antiviral medicine.
