    Title translation The historical development of coaching into profession
    Abstract Der Beitrag rekonstruiert die Coaching-Historie in ihren zentralen Entwicklungslinien Educational Coaching, Sports Coaching, Managerial Coaching und Professional Coaching. Dabei wird deutlich, dass Coaching im Ursprung die individuelle ereignisorientierte praxisnahe Befähigung von Menschen mitten in ihrem Aktionsfeld und angesichts hoher Leistungs- bzw. Rollenanforderungen ist. Coaching integrierte erst spät das reflexive Methodenrepertoire aus Counseling und Psychotherapie, was allerdings eine qualitative Wende in der historischen Entwicklung von Coaching bedeutete. Der Beitrag zeigt, dass Coaching ein eigenständiger Mainstream ist, der Elemente aus Beratung, Teaching und Training integriert, ohne einer dieser Disziplinen einverleibt werden zu können.     Abstract Popular media have played a crucial role in the construction, representation, reproduction, and transmission of stereotypes of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professionals, yet little is known about how these stereotypes influence STEM identity formation. Media images of STEM professionals may be important sources of information about STEM and may be particularly salient and relevant for girls during adolescence as they actively consider future personal and professional identities. This article describes gender-stereotyped media images of STEM professionals and examines theories to identify variables that explain the potential influence of these images on STEM identity formation. Understanding these variables is important for expanding current conceptual frameworks of science/STEM identity to better determine

    Abstract Digital tools and services are transforming smallholder agriculture, but many farmers are excluded from the benefits of the fast-moving digital revolution. Limited literacy, lack of investment capacity, or poor mobile infrastructure create digital exclusion. Because overall, women are more affected by such forms of exclusion than men, new digital services risk exacerbating gender disparities. Using gender-aware design methods, researchers can generate digital solutions that minimize or mitigate gendered exclusion. This simple tool for ‘Rapid Inclusivity Assessments’ helps researchers, designers and developers identify risks of digital exclusion in their specific project context. The tool then supports them in generating ideas towards improving the inclusivity of their digital agriculture service. The guide helps users carry out a half-day workshop (virtual or on-site) in which the entire design team tests their digital service idea against the potential limitations faced by women farmers on the ground.
