Abstract Narrowband interference and wideband interference are both common jamming signals against synthetic aperture radar, which can degrade the signal severely. To suppress interference effectively, an interference suppression method based on short-time fractional Fourier transform (STFrFT) is proposed. After transforming the signal into the time-frequency domain through STFrFT, an adaptive gain coefficient is determined for the instantaneous frequency spectrum at every certain time. The gain coefficient can be preserved while suppressing the interference. Finally, we obtain the useful signal by inverse STFrFT. The simulation and performance analysis show the effectiveness and validity of the proposed algorithm for measured data.

Abstract Marine engineering structures are often faced with complex environmental factors. It is the focus of current research to modify cement-based composites (CBCs) to achieve their high durability in complex environments such as seawater. In this study, the effect of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fibers on durability of nano-SiO2 (NS)-reinforced cement-based composites was investigated by simulating seawater environment and taking PVA fiber content as variable. In addition, based on the Weibull probability distribution model, the damage degree of NS and PVA fiber-reinforced cement-based composites (NFRCCs) subjected to wet-thermal and chloride salt-coupled environment (WTCSE) after 300 freeze–thawing cycles (FTCs) was predicted. The test results demonstrated that the NFRCC exhibited the most excellent durability subjected to WTCSE when the content of PVA fibers was 1.2%. Compared with the reference group only doped with NS subjected to WTCSE, its impermeability pressure increased by 150%, the chloride ion electric flux decreased by 31.71%, the compressive strength loss rate decreased by 19.00% after 125 FTC, and the compressive strength corrosion resistance coefficient of chloride salt erosion increased by 9.15% after 25 wetting–drying cycles. The predicted results of the Weibull probability distribution model indicated that the damage degree of NFRCC subjected to WTCSE after 300 FTC would not exceed 0.35. The microscopic test analysis showed that the incorporation of PVA fibers reduced the proportion of large pores and the overall porosity of NFRCC subjected to WTCSE. PVA fibers bridged microcracks while adsorbing NS and its hydration products, thus enhancing the adhesion of the substrate. This study provides a reference for the research of high-performance CBC in complex environment.

Abstract Purpose: This study was aimed to investigate the risk factors of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in twin preterm infants.
Methods: The clinical data of 67 pairs of twin preterm infants admitted to the neonatal department of our hospital from January 2010 to December 2021 were retrospectively collected. One of the twins had NEC (Bell II and above) and the other twin without NEC. They were divided into NEC group and control group according to whether NEC occurred or not.
Results: Univariate analysis showed that NEC was associated with congenital heart disease, small for gestational age, mild asphyxia at birth and feeding intolerance (P < 0.05).
Conclusion: Occurrence of NEC was associated with congenital heart disease, small for gestational age, and asphyxia at birth. For twin preterm infants with congenital heart disease, small for gestational age, or asphyxia at birth, special attention should be paid to the occurrence of NEC to minimize and avoid the occurrence of NEC.

Abstract Osteoporotic fractures represent the most severe complications of osteoporosis, characterized by insidious onset, high mortality and disability rates, and a steadily increasing incidence, imposing a significant socioeconomic burden. Western medicine has advantages in diagnosis and surgical interventions, while traditional Chinese medicine excels in holistic management and the restoration of bodily equilibrium. The integration of both traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and western medicine emerges as an effective therapeutic strategy for osteoporotic fractures. In order to propagate the concept of integrated diagnosis and treatment, foster the advancement of integrated medical techniques for osteoporotic fractures, and establish standardized and normative protocols for disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment,a consensus expert group, led by Geriatric Branch of Chinese Geriatrics Society, the Young Osteoporosis Group of Orthopedics Branch of Chinese Medical Association,Osteoporosis Group of Orthopedics Branch of Chinese Physician Association, and Osteoporosis Professional Committee of the Shanghai Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, was established. This group engaged in deliberations and formulated the "Expert Consensus on Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoporotic Fractures" elucidating the concept of integrated medicine and offering recommendations in the domains of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, with the aspiration of ameliorating the prognosis of osteoporotic fractures and enhancing the quality of life for these patients.

Abstract Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease characterized by decreased bone mass, destruction of bone microstructure, raised bone fragility, and enhanced risk of fractures. The correlation between gut microbiota and bone metabolism has gradually become a widespread research hotspot in recent years, and successive studies have revealed that the alterations of gut microbiota and its-related metabolites are related to the occurrence and progression of osteoporosis. Moreover, several emerging studies on the relationship between gut microbiota-related metabolites and bone metabolism are also underway, and extensive research evidence has indicated an inseparable connection between them. Combined with latest literatures and based on inextricable connection of gut-bone axis, this review is aimed to summarize the relation, potential mechanisms, application strategies, clinical application prospects, and existing challenges of gut microbiota and its-related metabolites on osteoporosis, thus updating the knowledge in this research field and providing certain reference for future researches.

Abstract Background: Aggressive angiomyolipoma is an extremely rare benign mesenchymal tumor that was originally described as a locally recurrent mucinous spindle cell tumour. Aggressive angiomyolipoma originates from myofibroblasts, vascular smooth muscle cells, or fibroblasts, and displays various phenotypes of myofibroblasts and abnormal muscle arteries. Aggressive angiomyolipoma was first identified in 1983 and fewer than 50 male patients have been reported to date. It is an extremely rare mesenchymal tumour and often confused with other diseases. Patients with epididymal aggressive angiomyolipoma lack typical symptoms, most of which occur incidentally, although some patients may experience mild pain, discomfort, and swelling. Pain may be exacerbated by pressure from the mass.
Case summary: A 66-year-old male was admitted to the hospital on January 14, 2022 with chief complaint of swelling in the left scrotum for one year. There was no apparent cause for the swelling. The patient did not consult with any doctor or receive any treatment for the swelling. The enlarged scrotum increased in size gradually until it reached approximately the size of a goose egg, and was accompanied by discomfort and swelling of the left cavity of the scrotum. The patient had no history of any testicular trauma, infection, or urinary tract infection. The patient urinated freely, 1-2 times at night, without urgency, dysuria (painful urination), or haematuria. There was no significant family history of malignancy. The patient underwent excision of the enlarged tumour and the left epididymis under general anaesthesia on January 18, 2022. Twelve months of follow-up revealed no recurrence. The patient was satisfied with the treatment.
Conclusion: Aggressive angiomyolipoma is extremely rare clinically and often confused with other diseases. The pathogenesis of aggressive angiomyolipoma is unclear and the clinical presentation is mostly a painless enlarged mass. The diagnosis of aggressive angiomyolipoma requires a combination of medical history, preoperative imaging such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, cytological examination and preoperative and postoperative pathological biopsy. The preferred treatment is surgery, with the possibility of a new alternative treatment option after hormonal therapy. Aggressive angiomyolipoma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of parametrial tumors of the male genital area that present as clinically significant masses. The high recurrence rate of aggressive angiomyolipoma may be related to incomplete tumor resection, and patients with aggressive angiomyolipoma are advised to undergo annual postoperative follow-up and imaging for recurrence.

Abstract Background: Left bundle branch pacemakers (LBBPs) can better maintain ventricular electrical synchronization than traditional right ventricular pacing (RVP). Temporary cardiac pacing (TCP) is needed to ensure the safety of the operation in patients undergoing LBBP. Currently, there are two methods of installing TCP in conventional permanent pacemaker implantation.
Hypothesis: To evaluate the safety and efficiency of replacing femoral vein pacing with atrial spiral pacing in the right ventricle for temporary cardiac pacing (TCP) during left bundle branch pacemaker (LBBP) implantation.
Method: A total of 179 patients who underwent TCP during LBBP were selected for retrospective analysis from April 2019 to 2021 and divided into two groups: the atrial spiral electrode group (n = 76) and the femoral vein electrode group (n = 103). The following were observed: operation time; radiation dose; radiation time; operation expenses; hospitalization time; pacemaker parameters immediately after the operation and at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months after the operation; operation complications and femoral vein puncture point complications were observed in the two groups.
Results: Compared to the femoral vein electrode group, the atrial electrode group had significantly lower operation times ([116.86 ± 24.63] versus [128.94 ± 25.27] min, p < 0.05), radiation doses ([805.07 ± 132.94] versus [846.42 ± 87.37] mgy, p < 0.05), and decreased risk of a displaced or dislodged temporary pacing electrode during the operation ([0.00%] versus [4.85%], p < 0.05). The atrial electrode group did not have significant operation costs or material costs associated with femoral vein temporary pacing electrode implantation. In addition, the atrial electrode group did not have an increased risk of pacemaker-related infections, and the parameters of the pacemaker were unaffected. However, some puncture point complications appeared in the femoral vein electrode group (8 cases of local subcutaneous hematoma, 3 cases of pseudoaneurysms, 3 cases of arteriovenous fistula).
Conclusion: The replacement of the femoral vein pacing electrode with an atrial spiral pacing electrode in the right ventricle for TCP during LBBP implantation was safe and effective.

Abstract In the process of exploiting mineral resources, dust enters the environment through air suspended particles and surface runoff, which has a serious impact on the atmospheric environment and human health. From all-year and seasonal scenarios, the migration trajectories and cumulative concentration based on the secondary development of Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory (HYSPLIT) in four mining areas (SF, BC, SJZ, and MJT) in Northwest China are studied. The convergent cross mapping (CCM) method is used to study the causal relationship between concentration and meteorological factors. In this process, the problem of missing non-station meteorological data is solved with the help of the inverse distance weighted interpolation method, and the problem in which the convergence requirements of the CCM algorithm cannot meet the requirements is solved with the bootstrap method. The results indicated that the short path has the characteristics of slow movement, short migration path, low altitude(< 1 km), and high contribution rate, while the long path has the opposite characteristics. Furthermore, the results demonstrated that the concentration is centered on the pollution source and diffuses around, with a diffusion radius of 220-270 km, showing a serious pollution center and slight gradient settlement on the edge, but the overall distribution of accumulated concentration is uneven. The results also show that temperature (TEMP and S_TEMP), evaporation, and air pressure are the main meteorological factors affecting the all-year concentration. The concentration and meteorological factors in the four mining areas also show significant seasonal characteristics, and the correlation in spring, summer, and autumn is stronger than that in winter. This study not only provides a reference for the green and sustainable exploitation of mineral resources but also provides theoretical support for the joint prevention and control of transboundary pollution.
