Abstract OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlation between chemical constituents and active ingredients of 13 types of Chinese mulberry fruits. METHODS: Thirteen types mulberry fruits were harvested. The correlation between chemical constituents and active ingredients (primarily anthocyanins and rutins) of 13 new types of Chinese mulberries was assessed using partial‐least‐squares, principle‐component and canonical‐correlation analyses. RESULTS: Vitamin C and titratable acid in the mulberry fruits were critical components that affected the active ingredients, especially anthocyanins and rutins. The content of titratable acid content was related to the fruit flavor and maintained the balance of anthocyanins, vitamin C and rutins. Mineral elements, such as Zn and Cu, also played a vital role in these processes. Low contents of sugar, crude protein, crude fat and pectin were significantly correlated with the mineral elements. CONCLUSION: Chemical constituents and mineral elements can mutually affect the concentration. It provides a novel method for any changes in the quality of new types of Chinese mulberries, which can identify the sources of new types of natural antioxidants.

Abstract Object detection plays an important role in the field of computer vision. The purpose of object detection is to identify the objects of interest in the image and determine their categories and positions. Object detection has many important applications in various fields. This article addresses the problems of unclear foreground contour in moving object detection and excessive noise points in the global vision, proposing an improved Gaussian mixture model for feature fusion. First, the RGB image was converted into the HSV space, and a mixed Gaussian background model was established. Next, the object area was obtained through background subtraction, residual interference in the foreground was removed using the median filtering method, and morphological processing was performed. Then, an improved Canny algorithm using an automatic threshold from the Otsu method was used to extract the overall object contour. Finally, feature fusion of edge contours and the foreground area was performed to obtain the final object contour. The experimental results show that this method improves the accuracy of the object contour and reduces noise in the object.

Abstract The world is rich in coalbed methane (CBM) resources and has broad exploration and development prospects. In this paper, first, the technical difficulties of drilling and completion in deep shale formations in the Sichuan and Chongqing region is systematically summarized. Second, a systematic evaluation was conducted on the optimization of temperature resistance performance and trajectory control technology of the rotary guidance system. Third, evaluation and economic analysis were conducted on the experimental effects of different technologies. Results show that: (a) the optimization technology for temperature resistance performance of integrated high-temperature resistant guide head and surface cooling equipment has been formed, which can effectively reduce the circulation cooling time and improve drilling efficiency. (b) Real time measurement of underground engineering parameters and monitoring and evaluation of wellbore cleanliness can reduce drilling risks, while achieving quantitative evaluation of drilling fluid gas content. (c) Assisted by real-time optimization technology of mechanical drilling speed based on underground surface engineering parameters, the acceleration effect has been significantly improved.

Abstract In this study, we present a simulation addressing the phenomena of shadowing and masking in TE and TM polarized incident plane waves interacting with V-grooved rough surfaces. Blinn's theory on light attenuation posits that such a rough surface is represented by a symmetric, elongated V-shaped groove cavity, considering only the tilt angles of the slopes. Our numerical analysis considers variables such as polarization (TE or TM), wavelength, tilt, and slant of the incident or viewing direction, as well as the material properties of the rough surfaces, to accurately calculate light attenuation on V-grooved rough surfaces. The findings indicate enhanced precision in the measurement of light attenuation on these complex geometries.

Abstract Many of the world's most prosperous and secure nations owe much of their success to the contributions of their entrepreneurial spirit. Indian youth unemployment is among the worst in the world, posing serious problems for a country with the youngest population. Using the framework of planned behavior theory, this research examines how entrepreneurship courses affect future plans to start a business. We developed a theoretical framework by investigating the effect of college-level entrepreneurial programs on regional prosperity and quality of life. The research offers data from China on the connection between entrepreneurship education and the desire to start a business. The hypotheses indicate the mediating function of entrepreneurial skills in this relationship. If universities and colleges want their students to have an entrepreneurial attitude and launch successful businesses, they need to improve the way they teach entrepreneurship. The impact of entrepreneurship education and an entrepreneurial mentality on the choice to establish a company was studied by academics in the Chinese region from September 2021 to June 2022. The study's overarching goal was to investigate the connections between formal entrepreneurship education, attitudes toward entrepreneurship, the idea of planned behavior, an entrepreneurial mindset, and creative intent. We used an econometrically sound partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) to do the necessary empirical computations. Education in entrepreneurship, an attitude conducive to starting a firm, the notion of planned behavior, and an entrepreneurial mindset all positively correlate with the choice to do so. The impulse to launch a new venture is highly correlated with a person's level of creativity. These findings make it quite evident that, in order to achieve the dual goals of economic development and poverty reduction, the government must increase spending and advocate for a shift in the way enterprises are organized.

Abstract Existing research has confirmed that light attenuation has an intrinsic effect on light reflection from rough surfaces. In this study, a technique is developed to solve the shadowing and masking problems of visual representation on a rough surface. Using the developed technique, a novel framework is built using optics to ensure that shadowing and masking can be presented on a rough surface and then calculated accurately. Moreover, the above-described technique is validated on generated random rough Gaussian surfaces, and it is compared with a wide variety of GAF theories (geometrical attenuation factor, GAF). As revealed by the results of this study, both method and algorithm proposed in this study are confirmed to be more effective than previous ones.

Abstract Background: The increasing integration of digital technologies into daily life has spurred a growing body of research in the field of digital psychology. This research has shed light on the potential benefits and drawbacks of digital technologies for mental health and well-being. However, the intricate relationship between technology and psychology remains largely unexplored.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the impact of mindfulness-based mobile apps on university students' anxiety, loneliness, and well-being. Additionally, it sought to explore participants' perceptions of the addictiveness of these apps.
Method: The research utilized a multi-phase approach, encompassing a correlational research method, a pretest-posttest randomized controlled trial, and a qualitative case study. Participants were segmented into three subsets: correlations (n = 300), treatment (n = 60), and qualitative (n = 20). Data were gathered from various sources, including the social anxiety scale, well-being scale, social media use integration scale, and an interview checklist. Quantitative data was analyzed using Pearson correlation, multiple regression, and t-tests, while qualitative data underwent thematic analysis.
Results: The study uncovered a significant correlation between social media use and the variables under investigation. Moreover, the treatment involving mindfulness-based mobile apps led to a reduction in students' anxiety and an enhancement of their well-being. Notably, participants held various positive perceptions regarding the use of these apps.
Implications: The findings of this research hold both theoretical and practical significance for the field of digital psychology. They provide insight into the potential of mindfulness-based mobile apps to positively impact university students' mental health and well-being. Additionally, the study underscores the need for further exploration of the intricate dynamics between technology and psychology in an increasingly digital world.
