Abstract In this paper, the author proposes a novel solution to evaluate the dependence between the maximum roll angle and the minimum vertical force at the wheel on the vehicle's height and speed. 4D graphs that fully and clearly describe the dependence between parameters are used to replace conventional 2D and 3D graphs. A complex dynamic model is established to describe the vehicle's oscillations when steering. Calculations and simulations are performed using Simulink® software with many specific cases. In all cases, the input values such as steering angle, speed, and distance from RA (roll axis) to CG (the center of gravity), all change flexibly. According to the paper's findings, the roll angle will rise once speed or height increases. In addition, the maximum roll angle increases significantly once both the velocity and the height increase. This causes the vertical force at the wheel to drop suddenly, and rollover may occur if this value reduces to zero. 4D graphs provide a more specific and intuitive assessment of vehicle rollovers.

Abstract Under the influence of centrifugal force, the rollover phenomenon may occur. The vehicle rolls over when the wheel is completely separated from the road surface, i.e., the vertical force of the wheel is reduced to zero. To overcome this problem, the active stabilizer bar is used at the front and rear axles of the vehicle. The active stabilizer bar works on the difference in fluid pressure inside the hydraulic motor. This article is aimed at studying the vehicle rollover dynamics when the hydraulic stabilizer bar is used. In this article, the model of a complex dynamic is established. This is a combination of the model of spatial dynamics, the model of nonlinear double-track dynamics, and the nonlinear tire model. The operation of the hydraulic actuator is controlled by a fuzzy algorithm with 3-inputs. The defuzzification rule is determined based on the combination of 27 cases. The process of calculation and simulation is done with four specific cases corresponding to steering angles. In each case, three situations were investigated. Besides, the speed of the vehicle is also gradually increased from v1 to v4. As a result of the simulation, which was performed in the MATLAB-Simulink environment, the output values such as roll angle, change of the vertical force, and roll index were significantly reduced when the active stabilizer bar was used. If the vehicle does not use the stabilizer bar, the vehicle may roll over in both the second, third, and fourth cases. If the vehicle uses a mechanical stabilizer bar, this also occurs in the third and fourth cases (only at a very high velocity, v4). However, the rollover phenomenon did not occur if the vehicle used a hydraulic stabilizer bar controlled by the fuzzy 3-inputs algorithm. In all investigated cases, the stability and safety of the vehicle are always guaranteed. Besides, the responsiveness of the controller is also very good. An experimental process needs to be conducted to verify the correctness of this research.

Abstract Stimuli from the road surface cause car vibrations. The suspension system ensures the vehicle’s stability and smoothness when moving. In this research, the author introduces the use of active suspension with a hydraulic actuator to improve the comfort of cars. Car oscillations are described based on a quarter-dynamics model with five state variables. Besides, the nonlinear system’s SM (sliding mode) control algorithm is used to control the system. The SM algorithm’s parameters are optimally selected using the multiple loop algorithm. The multiple loop algorithm allows the values to vary within a predefined limit and provides an optimal parameter based on the vehicle’s vibration conditions. This is a new point in the paper compared to previous studies. The output of the simulation problem includes displacements and accelerations of both the sprung and unsprung masses. In addition, the change of dynamics force at the wheel is also considered when evaluating the interaction between the wheel and the road surface. According to the paper’s results, the vehicle body’s acceleration and displacement values are strongly reduced when using the SM algorithm, compared with cars with only traditional suspension. In addition, the change in dynamics force at the wheel is not significant when using this algorithm. As a result, the car’s smoothness has been improved while the vehicle’s stability has not been lost. The phenomenon of “chattering” still occurs in some cases; however, its effect is negligible.

Abstract Summary: The Microprocessor complex is crucial in microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis, as it processes primary miRNAs (pri-miRNAs) into precursor miRNAs. Here, we present a high-throughput, radioisotope-free protocol for studying pri-miRNA processing using randomized sequences. We describe steps for randomized substrate preparation, protein purification, processing assays, and DNA library construction for sequencing. This technique explores pri-miRNA processing, uncovers key RNA elements, and illuminates gene expression regulation. However, its efficacy may be constrained by data analysis complexity and the requirement for specialized equipment. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Nguyen et al. Abstract Bio-based composites are reinforced polymeric materials, which include one or two bio-based components. Biocomposites have recently attracted great attention for applications ranging from home appliances to the automotive industry. The outstanding advantages are low cost, biodegradability, lightness, availability, and solving environmental problems. In recent days, biodegradable natural fibers are attracting a great deal of interest from researchers to work on and develop a new type of composite material for diverse applications. The objective of this work is to evaluate fire resistance and mechanical properties of epoxy polymer composites reinforced with lychee peel (Vietnam), at 10 wt%, 20 wt%, and 30 wt% mass%. The study showed that the mechanical properties and flame retardancy tended to increase in the presence of lychee peel reinforcement. In the combined ratios, 20 wt% lychee rind gave a limiting oxygen index of 21.5%, with a burning rate of 23.45 mm/min. In terms of mechanical strength, in which the Izod impact strength increased by 26.46%, the compressive strength increased by 25.20% and the tensile strength increased by 20.62%. The microscopic images (SEM images) show that the particle distribution is quite good and the adhesion and wetting compatibility on the two-phase interface of lychee peel-epoxy resin are strong.

Abstract The rollover phenomenon is a particularly dangerous problem. This phenomenon occurs when the driver travels at high speed and suddenly steers. Under the influence of centrifugal force, the body vehicle will be tilted and cause the wheels to lift off the road. To solve this problem, the method of using an active stabilizer bar has been proposed. The active stabilizer bar is controlled automatically by a previously designed controller. The performance of the active stabilizer bar depends on the selected control method. Previous research often only used a half-car dynamics model combined with a linear single-track dynamics model to simulate the vehicle’s oscillation. In addition, most of the research focuses only on the use of linear control methods for the active stabilizer bar. Therefore, the performance of the stabilizer bar is not guaranteed. This paper focuses on establishing the model of spatial dynamics combined with the nonlinear double-track dynamics model that fully describes the vehicle’s oscillation most accurately. Besides, the fuzzy control method is proposed to control the operation of the hydraulic stabilizer bar. This is a completely novel model, and it is suitable for the actual traveling conditions of the vehicle. Also, simulations are done based on different scenarios. The results of the paper showed that the values of the roll angle, the difference in the vertical force at the wheels, and the displacement of the unsprung mass were significantly reduced when the vehicle used the active stabilizer bar, which is controlled by an intelligent control method. Therefore, the stability and safety of the vehicle have been guaranteed. This result will be the basis for performing other more complex research in the future.

Abstract In spite of protection mechanisms for Domain Name System (DNS), such as IP blacklist and DNS Firewall, DNS still has privacy issues in reality, since DNS is a plain-text protocol. Recently, to resolve this problem, an encrypted DNS, called DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH), has been developed, and is becoming more widespread. As the secured version of DNS, DoH guarantees privacy and security to prevent various attacks such as eavesdropping and manipulating DNS data by using the HTTPS protocol to encrypt the data between the DoH client and the DoH-based DNS resolver. DoH is one of the best security options for an enterprise network where more sensitive data protection is required. However, DoH may cause an unintended security breach, i.e., information leakage via malicious DoH tunneling. Since the DoH traffic is encrypted and indistinguishable from other HTTPS traffic, data hidden inside DoH packets can be easily leaked out of an enterprise network. Although some countermeasures to detect DoH tunneling attacks have been proposed, they still have limitations. Previous research used Supervised Machine Learning methods to detect DoH tunneling, which required a high volume of labeled data. In practice, collecting and labeling all of the data is an impossible task, especially in DoH, when all of the data are encrypted. Furthermore, Supervised Machine Learning methods rely heavily on human-engineered feature extraction, which makes classifying encrypted DoH traffic difficult. Furthermore, no previous research has mentioned a complete functional DoH detection applied to network infrastructure. Therefore, we propose a detection system for DoH tunneling attacks based on Transformer to detect a malicious DoH tunneling and build a fully functional DoH detection system that can be integrated with the security operation system of an enterprise network. The experiment results show a significant improvement compared with previous works.

Abstract One of the main disadvantages of epoxy resins is brittleness and flammability, which is one of the biggest threats and the reason for limiting advanced applications. In this study, Epikote 240 (EP) epoxy resin was plasticized with epoxidized flaxseed oil (ELO) at different concentrations (EP/ELO ratios 95/5; 90/10; 85/15; 80/20; 75/25). Then, nanoclay additives and MWCNTs are simultaneously dispersed into the EP/ELO blend by using ultrasonic vibration. The dispersion of ELO and nanoclay additives (nanoclay and MWCNTs) in epoxy resin is observed by using the scanning electron microscope in combination with the XRD method. The effect of ELO, nanoadditives on mechanical properties, and flame retardants is assessed by tensile strength, flexural strength, compressive strength, impact resistance, UL 94HB method, and limiting oxygen index. Experimental results have shown that the mixing ratio of 90/10 w/w is the ratio for good compatibility, high mechanical properties, and fire retardation compared with other ratios. When adding MWCNTs as well as nanoclay I.30E to Epikote 240 epoxy, the mechanical strength and fire resistance have changed greatly: tensile strength of 85.45 MPa, flexural strength of 116.32 MPa, compressive strength of 189.25 MPa, impact resistance Izod of 24.37 kJ/m2, and fire resistance reached at V1.

Abstract Stimulation from the road surface can cause vehicle vibrations. Vehicle vibration is evaluated based on the change of displacement and acceleration values of the vehicle body. In order to improve ride comfort, an active suspension system should be used. This article proposes a new method for controlling the functioning of the active suspension system. The AFSPIDF algorithm was designed based on PID, SMC, and Fuzzy algorithms. The PID algorithm is only applicable to SISO objects with linear oscillations. The SMC algorithm can be applied to nonlinear systems; however, a chattering phenomenon can still occur. Meanwhile, a Fuzzy algorithm can increase the flexibility of control states. Therefore, combining all three of these algorithms is necessary to become a new integrated control algorithm. The input signal of the Fuzzy algorithm is the output signal of the SMC algorithm. Besides, the PID controller parameters are also adjusted by another Fuzzy algorithm. These two Fuzzy algorithms operate in complete isolation from one another. This is a wholly new and unique algorithm. With two specific cases, the numerical simulation method explores vehicle vibration. In each case, four situations are compared. The results of the simulation process have shown that the values of displacement and acceleration of the vehicle body are significantly reduced once the AFSPIDF algorithm is used. In the first case, these values do not exceed 2.5% compared with vehicles using passive suspension systems. In the second case, these values do not exceed 13.5%. As a consequence, the stability and comfort of the vehicle have been greatly enhanced.
