Abstract Introduction: Intelligent robots play a crucial role in enhancing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving safety in the logistics industry. However, traditional path planning methods often struggle to adapt to dynamic environments, leading to issues such as collisions and conflicts. This study aims to address the challenges of path planning and control for logistics robots in complex environments.
Methods: The proposed method integrates information from different perception modalities to achieve more accurate path planning and obstacle avoidance control, thereby enhancing the autonomy and reliability of logistics robots. Firstly, a 3D convolutional neural network (CNN) is employed to learn the feature representation of objects in the environment for object recognition. Next, long short-term memory (LSTM) is used to model spatio-temporal features and predict the behavior and trajectory of dynamic obstacles. This enables the robot to accurately predict the future position of obstacles in complex environments, reducing collision risks. Finally, the Dijkstra algorithm is applied for path planning and control decisions to ensure the robot selects the optimal path in various scenarios.
Results: Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of path planning accuracy and obstacle avoidance performance. The method outperforms traditional approaches, showing significant improvements in both aspects.
Discussion: The intelligent path planning and control scheme presented in this paper enhances the practicality of logistics robots in complex environments, thereby promoting efficiency and safety in the logistics industry.

Abstract Feature selection is critical in machine learning to reduce dimensionality and improve model accuracy and efficiency. The exponential growth in feature space dimensionality for modern datasets directly results in ambiguous samples and redundant features, which can severely degrade classification accuracy. Quantum machine learning offers potential advantages for addressing this challenge. In this paper, we propose a novel method, quantum support vector machine feature selection (QSVMF), integrating quantum support vector machines with multi-objective genetic algorithm. QSVMF optimizes multiple simultaneous objectives: maximizing classification accuracy, minimizing selected features and quantum circuit costs, and reducing feature covariance. We apply QSVMF for feature selection on a breast cancer dataset, comparing the performance of QSVMF against classical approaches with the selected features. Experimental results show that QSVMF achieves superior performance. Furthermore, The Pareto front solutions of QSVMF enable analysis of accuracy versus feature set size trade-offs, identifying extremely sparse yet accurate feature subsets. We contextualize the biological relevance of the selected features in terms of known breast cancer biomarkers. This work highlights the potential of quantum-based feature selection to enhance machine learning efficiency and performance on complex real-world data.

Abstract Point clouds have garnered increasing research attention and found numerous practical applications. However, many of these applications, such as autonomous driving and robotic manipulation, rely on sequential point clouds, essentially adding a temporal dimension to the data (i.e., four dimensions) because the information of the static point cloud data could provide is still limited. Recent research efforts have been directed towards enhancing the understanding and utilization of sequential point clouds. This paper offers a comprehensive review of deep learning methods applied to sequential point cloud research, encompassing dynamic flow estimation, object detection & tracking, point cloud segmentation, and point cloud forecasting. This paper further summarizes and compares the quantitative results of the reviewed methods over the public benchmark datasets. Ultimately, the paper concludes by addressing the challenges in current sequential point cloud research and pointing towards promising avenues for future research.

Abstract Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) can be produced through two main routes: annihilation route and coreactant route. The vast majority of applications of ECL are based on coreactant ECL which can be generated in aqueous media at relatively low potentials compared with organic solvents. However, the development of more efficient ECL systems remains a compelling goal. Co-reaction accelerator (CRA) can significantly enhance the ECL signal through promoting more production of the coreactant intermediate. Compared with other ECL enhancement strategies, the CRA protocol is distinctive owing to its diverse, simple, and highly effective features. Various species such as inorganic compound, organic compound, and nanomaterials (NMs) have been developed as CRA and NM CRA has gained particular attention owing to their unique properties of excellent catalytic behavior and large surface area. By integration with the inherent advantages of ECL, bioanalysis based on CRA-enhanced ECL showed excellent performance such as ultrahigh sensitivity, wide dynamic range, low cost, simple instrumentation, and measurements in complex media. It has been extensively applied in various fields including clinical diagnosis, environmental monitoring, and food safety. Therefore, it is of great interest to present a systematic and critical review on the advances in ECL CRA. Herein, the recent progress on CRA and its applications in ECL bioanalysis are summarized by illustrating some representative work and a discussion of the future development trends of CRA ECL is offered.

Abstract Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are pluripotent stem cells with self-renewal, multi-directional differentiation and immunoregulatory capabilities. More and more studies have demonstrated the beneficial role of MSCs in the treatment of immune disorders. However, there is heterogeneity in the immunoregulatory capacity of MSCs obtained in vivo or cultured in vitro, and the immunoregulatory capacity of MSCs is also regulated by the microenvironment. This review provides an overview of the mechanisms of the immunosuppressive and immune supportive abilities of MSCs, introduces recent studies on the immunoregulatory mechanisms of MSCs and the plasticity hypothesis of their immunoregulatory abilities, and discusses strategies to enhance the immunoregulatory abilities of MSCs in the cell production stage. This review aims to provide a reference for the clinical translational research of MSCs.
