Series title The Great Transformation of China, China's Economic Transformation, Innovation and Development ,
Abstract This book places a current topic—energy transition—within the historical background of human social development and explores the value and significance of energy transition for economic transition in the course of economic growth. It sheds light on the basic logic and the distinguishing characteristics of energy transition by reviewing the history of energy transition development in order to provide a new perspective for understanding and analyzing China's energy transition considering lessons from the German and American energy transition experiences. This book will be of interest to environmentalists, economists, and journalists. Tong Zhu is Director and associate research fellow at Energy Economic Research Office, Institute of Industrial Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China, supervisor of master students of industrial economics, MBA supervisor at Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and special research fellow at the China Society of Economic Reform. Lei Wang is associate research fellow at Energy Economic Research Office, Institute of Industrial Economics of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China. .

Abstract DA1 well exploited two sets of reservoirs, volcanic rock of Ying1 member and conglomerate of Ying4 member. In the initial stage of exploitation, the well had a high productivity. After an operation in 2010, the production situation of the well changed dramatically. In this paper, through the comparison of the production situation before and after the operation, the geological situation and the adjacent well, the operation pollution situation of the well is analyzed, and the exploitation potential of the well is analyzed, the measure scheme of plugging removal is put forward, and the stimulation prediction and economic benefit evaluation of the well are carried out, proving that the measure is effective and feasible.

Abstract The robust self-cleaning of a lotus leaf is the most classic and powerful phenomenon in nature, whose hybrid papillae and biological wax guarantee its functions. The stability of the lotus leaf surface function is determined by its overall structural design, and is also the fundamental reason for its long-term survival in the natural environment. In fact, the durability of lotus leaf surface function is facilitated by the coordination of many factors which is why it is challenging to be investigated using bionic technology. In this review, we comprehensively examined the synergistic effects of flexible characteristics, surface topography, hollow interlayers, leaf shape, and bent petioles on the structural stability of the lotus leaf surface. The key significance of these factors is in transferring the stress and strain on the surface downwards, reducing the load on the surface, improving the durability of the self-cleaning function, and ultimately ensuring respiration and photosynthesis of leaves in the natural environment. This comprehensive scrutiny offers a novel classical bionic scheme for enhancing the structural stability of a surface, which has potential for applications in deepwater self-cleaning, anti-drag, anti-icing, thermal insulation, and mechanical enhancement of membranes and buildings.

Abstract The spinodal instability and thermal nucleation mechanisms successfully describe the dewetting of metallic thin films. The previous research mainly focuses on homogeneous and continuous films. However, less attention is paid to the effect of random vacancy defects that frequently appear in actual situations on the film dewetting. In this work, the thermally-induced dewetting of a 0.4 nm thick ultrathin Ag film with different vacancy rate (

Abstract This paper presents an in-depth study and analysis of the restoration of distorted electronic technology archives using Markov models and proposes a corresponding fusion algorithm. Using the image gradient parametrization as a regular term, the filtering restoration process is constrained and the fuzzy kernel is estimated to solve the degradation problem existing in the Tibetan antiquarian literature. In the algorithmic framework of nonlocal mean filtering, the calculation of the weight function is improved to reduce the computational effort. In the simulation results, it is shown that the improved nonlocal mean filtering restoration algorithm in this paper has good overall quality evaluation performance in the restoration of text-based images. The structural similarity between the generated image and the real image is guaranteed, and the internal mixed-mode learning of a single SAR image is performed by combining the pyramidal hierarchical network structure to improve the effectiveness of the generated image in general. The method further improves the similarity between the generated and real images, while improving the accuracy of the classification based on the data expanded by the generation method. The feasibility and accuracy of the online algorithm for the parameter estimation problem of the model are illustrated through numerical experiments with two specific examples of hidden Markov models, namely, a double Gaussian mixture model and a finite-state Markov chain model with Gaussian noise. At the same time, the advantages of the algorithm proposed in this paper are demonstrated by comparing the experimental results of the online EM algorithm with those of the offline EM algorithm on a unified model. Finally, the empirical analysis is used to illustrate the application of the algorithm in practical scenarios.
