Abstract Pulmonary fibrosis is an enduring and advancing pulmonary interstitial disease caused by multiple factors that ultimately lead to structural changes in normal lung tissue. Currently, pulmonary fibrosis is a global disease with a high degree of heterogeneity and mortality rate. Nitidine and pirfenidone have been approved for treating pulmonary fibrosis, and the quest for effective therapeutic drugs remains unabated. In recent years, the anti-pulmonary fibrosis properties of natural flavonoids have garnered heightened attention, although further research is needed. In this paper, the resources, structural characteristics, anti-pulmonary fibrosis properties and mechanisms of natural flavonoids were reviewed. We hope to provide potential opportunities for the application of flavonoids in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis.

Abstract With the interconnected network's quick growth and widespread adoption, it has only made sense that it would serve as a hub for the dissemination of ideologies and cultural information as well as an amplifier for public opinion. The world is dualistic. The popularity of the connected network has both positive and negative effects on society. It makes people's lives more convenient, but it also has some drawbacks. Public opinion will quickly build up on the interconnected network as network communication becomes a significant method of disseminating social information, and the number of public opinion events on the interconnected network will also rise. Accurately understanding the law of higher education students' online public opinion to effectively direct and utilise online public opinion to carry out ideological education for students and to realise the establishment of students' good values, mental health, and behavioural norms, it is necessary to understand how to spread and rise and fall in the era of big data work. The parameter inversion model of online public opinion is established in this article based on the aforementioned issues. The parameter inversion algorithm is used to calculate the trend value of online public opinion, and the degree of fitting between the trend value of actual data and the trend value of parameter inversion is compared. The study discovered that the experiment's fitting value is as high as 90%. The model's prediction of the overall trend of the event development is correct, indicating that the model parameters are inverted, even though the actual public opinion data are affected by a variety of random factors, so some deviations may occur at local points. The internal law of the evolution of events that spread public opinion has been discovered, and it can be used to accurately describe the evolution and development of the public opinion dissemination process as it is driven by its internal mechanism. In the age of big data, this article analyses and summarises the rise, fall, and distribution of online public opinion among students at institutions of higher education. It also serves as a guide for monitoring and directing online public opinion in colleges and other institutions of higher education.

Abstract It has become routing work to detect and correct for population structure in genome-wide association analysis. A variety of methods have been proposed. Particularly, the methods based on spectral graph theory have shown superior performance. We discovered that the inherent nonlinear distribution of high-dimensional genotypic data was a possible source of confounding factors in population structure analysis, and was also the possible underlying reason that accounted for the superiority of these spectral-based methods. We verified this hypothesis by validating a variation of the Laplacian Eigen analysis: LAPMAP. The method could faithfully reveal the underlying population structures of HapMap II and III data sets. The inferred top eigenvectors together with minor eigenvectors were used to segregate samples by their ancestries. We found that the top 3 eigenvectors differentiated the 4 populations in phase II data set; the top 3 eigenvectors clustered the populations into 4 clusters, reflecting their continental origins. In phase III populations, 9 populations were well recognized. Next, we estimated admixture proportions for simulated individuals. The method showed comparable or better performance in capturing and correcting for modelled population structures. All experimental results showed that LAPMAP was robust, efficient and scalable to genome-wide association studies.

Abstract Objective: To investigate the effect of Sep15 gene silencing on lens protein expression in human lens epithelial cells. Method: Human lens epithelial cell (HLEC) SRA01/04 was used as the study object, Using MTT method, RT-PCRs, Small molecule RNA interference technology and protein immunoblotting method, The survival rate of hLE cells stimulated by different concentrations of bFGF and Tm (tunicamycin, an endoplasmic reticulum stress inducing reagent), the changes of the mRNA and protein expression levels of intracellular beta-crystallin and GRP78 proteins, and the changes of Sep15 protein expression levels in hLE cells were determined, respectively, to evaluate the effect of Sep15 gene silencing on the expression of lens protein in human lens epithelial cells. Result: First, The survival rate of hLE cells induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress inducing reagents tunicamycin (Tm) and bFGF was investigated by MTT method. The results showed that a certain concentration of Tm and bFGF could inhibit or lead to the death of hLE cells; Secondly, The effects of Tm on the levels of mRNA and protein expression of the endoplasmic reticulum stress marker protein GRP78 and the effects of bFGF on the levels of alpha-, were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and protein immunoblotting, respectively, Effects of beta-crystallin mRNA and protein expression levels, To determine the optimal concentration and time of Tm and bFGF on hLE cells, The results showed that 40 ng/mL of bFGF-treated cells for 48 h was the optimal reaction condition for bFGF to stimulate the differentiation of lens epithelial cells. Third, The co-action of Tm and bFGF on hLE cells was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and protein immunoblotting. For Intracellular GRP78, α-, β- crystallin, Effects of mRNA and protein expression levels, The results showed that the occurrence of ER stress could upregulate its expression. Fourth, The changes of Sep15 protein expression level in hLE cells after Sep15 gene silencing and the effects of Tm and bFGF on Sep15 gene silencing in cells were detected by Western blotting. The results showed that the addition of Tm and bFGF basically did not affect the silencing effect of Sep15 gene. Fifth, The expression of GRP78 and β- crystallin in hLE cells after silencing of Sep15 gene was detected by Western blot. The results showed that Sep15 may be involved in the process of protecting the differentiation of lens epithelial cells. Conclusion: Sep15 gene silencing has an inhibitory effect on lens protein expression in human lens epithelial cells, and strengthening its clinical research is of positive significance for improving the clinical treatment and prevention of cataract diseases.

Abstract Aluminum-Silicon (Al-Si) alloys are one of the most widely used aluminum alloys. But iron can severely deteriorate the mechanical property of Al-Si diecasting alloy because its presence leads to the precipitation of different AlFeSi intermetallic phases which damage the ductility of alloys. Thus controlling the fraction and morphology of AlFeSi phase, especially the β-AlFeSi phase is important way to refine the ductility of Al-Si die casting alloys. In this article, K element was added into A380 alloys to study the effect of K on the morphology change of AlFeSi phase. The results show that a certain level of K addition 0.05-0.1 wt% will refine β-AlFeSi and transform β-AlFeSi phase to α-AlFeSi. In addition, K addition can better refine AlFeSi at high ccoling rates. The mechanism of refinement of K on AlFeSi phase is analyzed.
