Abstract "A crash course in marketing for eye care professionals, Grow Your Eye Care Practice: High Yield Pearls from the Marketing Experts guides readers through this crucial area of business development. With an increase in patients undergoing elective procedures and an increase in the amount of providers, marketing has become the most important way for eye care professionals to grow their practices and differentiate themselves from their competition. Since marketing is not addressed in any formal course in medical school, optometry school, residency or fellowship, many eye care professionals lack basic understanding and skills in this area of growing importance to their businesses. To meet this critical need, editor Dr. Ming Wang and associate editors Shareef Mahdavi, Michael Malley and Dr. Tracy Swartz have created this essential, timely handbook aggregating the key ophthalmic marketing pearls, teachings and experiences of some of the leading national and international marketing experts. Grow Your Eye Care Practice begins with an overview of the history and current state of ophthalmic marketing, including a fascinating look at the commoditization of eye care as was demonstrated with the introduction of LASIK. The core chapters address foundational and innovative marketing concepts and their application to eye care, including: Market research, segmentation, targeting and positioning, Patient experience, Branding versus call to action, Word of mouth referrals, Digital marketing, including social media, websites and SEO, Innovative marketing approaches, Ethics and laws governing medical marketing, Upcoming disruptive marketing technologies. Grow Your Eye Care Practice: High Yield Pearls from the Marketing Experts is an indispensable desktop reference for all eye care professionals--ophthalmologists, optometrists, administrators, practice managers, business associates, residents, fellows, medical students and optometry students-who wish to improve their marketing skills, grow their practices and differentiate themselves from their competition"--

Abstract Introduction: Mobile dating apps emerged with the development of technology, for example, Blued in China, becoming a new risk field for gay men in the AIDS era. Users use social apps to chat online and date offline to achieve the satisfaction of lust or sexual practice, but the risk of AID looms over the whole process of using apps.
Methods: Nineteen interviewees were invited to participate in this study, which included gay men who were using or had used Blued. The content of the semi-structured interviews focused on the relationship between gay social apps and HIV risk.
Results: The study finds Blued interweaved with sex, risk, and stigma. Blued is sexualized due to sexual intentions and practices. There is also a sexual stratification of risk with Blued and its users based on socioeconomic factors. Users experience a dilemma between pursuing sex while being concerned about latent risk within a context of stigmatization.
Conclusions: Blued is sexualized in terms of the process of stimulating sexual gratification and facilitating sexual practices. The experience of Blued is an example of sexual stratification, and a structure of desire based on app users and app uses. Furthermore, the social stigma against men who have sex with men is transferred to Blued, which bears the stigma of "AIDS-Blued" with a dual stigma-HIV-related and homosexual stigma. However, with the authorized approval of Blued in public health, Blued could play an essential role in HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

Abstract "Corneal topography has become essentially a pattern recognition trade, best learned by viewing multiple images of representative patterns. In spite of this, currently available topography books focus only on the technology behind topography, or a particular application of topography, as opposed to presenting a comprehensive collection of topographic patterns that provide quick, consistent pattern recognition and identification. Drs. Wang and Kugler, along with their contributors, look to fill this void with Atlas and Clinical Reference Guide for Corneal Topography. Atlas and Clinical Reference Guide for Corneal Topography is the first corneal topography book that lends itself to efficient image search and reference for busy clinicians at chair side. Organized into both map-based and disease-based sections, the book allows for quick reference in busy clinical situations. Images come from the commonly used topographers, the Zeiss Atlas and the Oculus Pentacam, but the principles of pattern recognition can be applied to any topographer. Due to the text's large collection of topographic images and corresponding corneal conditions, Atlas and Clinical Reference Guide for Corneal Topography can be used side by side with the topographer. Designed as both a learning tool for students and a reference for clinicians to use when faced with a challenging topography interpretation, Atlas and Clinical Reference Guide for Corneal Topography will be appreciated by a wide spectrum of eye care professionals. General ophthalmologists, cataract and refractive surgeons, corneal specialists, optometrists, and ophthalmology residents and students will benefit from this invaluable atlas for corneal topography"--Provided by publisher

Abstract In order to better understand the factors affecting the likelihood of motorcyclists' fatal injuries, motorcycle-involved crashes were investigated based on the involvement of the following vehicles: single motorcycle (SM), multiple motorcycles (MM) and motorcycle versus vehicle (MV) crashes.
Method: Binary logit and mixed logit models that consider the heterogeneity of parameters were applied to identify the critical factors that increase the likelihood of motorcyclist fatality.
Results: Mixed logit models were found to have better fitting performances. Factors that increase the likelihood of motorcyclist fatality include lanes separated by traffic islands, male motorcyclists, and riding with BAC values of less than the legally limited value. Collisions with trees or utility poles lead to the highest likelihood of fatality in SM crashes. The effects of curved roads, same-direction swipe crashes, youth, and unlicensed motorcyclists are only significant in the likelihood of fatality in SM crashes.
Conclusions: Motorcyclists tend to be killed if they collide with large engine-size motorcycles and vehicles, unlicensed motorcyclists, or drivers with speeding related or right-of-way violations with positive BAC values. Driving or riding should be prohibited for any amount of alcohol or for anyone with a positive BAC value. Law enforcement should focus on unlicensed, speeding motorcyclists and drivers, and those who violate the right of way or perform improper turns. Roadside objects and facilities should be checked for appropriate placement and be equipped with reflective devices or injury protection facilities.

Abstract Background: The evidence on the role of retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy is limited to less common histology subtypes of epithelial advanced ovarian cancer.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study utilized data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program from January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2019. Patients with stage III-IV epithelial ovarian cancer were included and divided into two groups based on whether they received retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy. The primary outcomes are overall survival (OS) and cause-specific survival (CSS).
Results: Among the 10 184 included patients, 5472 patients underwent debulking surgery with retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy, while 4712 patients only underwent debulking surgery. No differences were found in the baseline information between the two groups after propensity score matching. Retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy during debulking surgery was associated with improved 5-year OS (43.41% vs. 37.49%, p < 0.001) and 5-year CSS (46.43% vs. 41.79%, p < 0.001). Subgroup analysis further validate the retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy increased the 5-year OS and CSS in patients with high-grade serous cancer. Although the results were not validated in the less common ovarian cancer (including endometrial cancer, mucinous cancer, low-grade serous cancer, and clear cell cancer), the tendency showed patients with the above four subtypes may benefit from the lymphadenectomy which is restricted for small sample size after propensity score matching.
Conclusions: This study revealed that retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy could further improve the survival outcome during debulking surgery in patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer. The conclusion was affected by the histology subtypes of ovarian cancer and further studies are needed to validate the conclusion in less common ovarian cancer.

Abstract Gallium-based liquid metals (LMs) and their alloys have gained prominence in the realm of flexible and stretchable electronics. Recent advances have expanded the interest to explore the electron-rich core and interface of LMs to synthesize various nanomaterials, where Ga-based LMs serve as versatile reaction media. In this paper, we delve into the latest developments within this burgeoning field. Our discussion begins by elucidating the unique attributes of LMs that render them suitable as reaction media, including their high metal solubility, low standard reduction potential, self-limiting oxidation and ultra-smooth and "layer" surface. We then provide a comprehensive categorized summary of utilizing these features to fabricate a variety of nanomaterials, including pure metallic materials (metal alloys, metal crystals, porous metals, high-entropy alloys and metallic single atoms), metal-inorganic compounds (2D metal oxides, 2D metallic inorganic compounds and 2D graphitic materials), as well as metal-organic composites (metal-organic frameworks). This paper concludes by discussing the current challenges in this field and exploring potential future directions. The versatility and unique properties of Ga-based LMs are poised to play a pivotal role in the future of nanomaterial science, paving the way for more efficient, sustainable, and innovative technological solutions.

Abstract Unaccounted-for migrant workers (UMWs), who have left their employment placement and whose whereabouts are unknown, make up a vulnerable population in Taiwan. The children of UMWs have a particularly precarious status because they are undocumented/stateless, immigrant, and young. Living with this precarious status limits their children's rights to survival and development. Moreover, services for female UMWs and their undocumented children are underdeveloped. This study explores the accessibility and availability of social services for UMWs and undocumented children, based on interviews with 12 stakeholders from multiple systems, including a local government, a child welfare placement center, a migrant worker detention center, a hospital, a regional religious center, and a foreign country office. Preliminary findings indicate the following: First, UMWs' rights to healthcare are not preserved, and they experience greater prenatal risks because their illegal status excludes them from universal health coverage. Second, undocumented children's rights to survival and development are concerning because these children can be placed in residential care without individualized care or environmental stimulation. Third, children's rights to cultural identity and permanency are uncertain in that repatriation or adoption does not guarantee their future best interests.
