Abstract Chapter 1. Introduction -- Chapter 2. Deep Learning Technology -- Chapter 3. Large-Scale Agricultural Pest and Disease Datasets -- Chapter 4. Sampling-balanced Region Proposal Network for Pest Detection -- Chapter 5. Crop Pest Detection Methods in Field -- Chapter 6. A CNN-based Arbitrary-oriented Wheat Disease Detection Method

This monograph provides a detailed and systematic introduction to the application of deep learning technology in the intelligent monitoring of crop diseases and pests. Taking 24 types of crop pests, wheat aphids, and wheat diseases with complex backgrounds as examples, a large-scale crop pest and disease dataset was constructed to provide necessary data support for the deep learning module. Various schemes for identifying and detecting large-scale crop diseases and pests based on deep convolutional neural network technology have also been proposed. This book can be used as a reference for teachers and students majoring in agriculture, computer science, artificial intelligence, intelligent science and technology, and other related fields in higher education institutions. It can also be used as a reference book for researchers in fields such as image processing technology, intelligent manufacturing, and high-tech applications

Abstract In this study, the peptides of soy protein obtained by enzymatic digestion with proteases were analyzed for their antidiabetic, antihypertensive, and antioxidant activities. Peptides prepared with alkaline proteinase (AP) exhibited the highest α‐glucosidase inhibitory activity compared with those from papain and trypsin digestion. AP hydrolysates also exhibited dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP‐IV) inhibitory, angiotensin‐converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory, and antioxidant activities. Gastrointestinal digestion of peptides enhanced α‐glucosidase, DPP‐IV, and ACE inhibitory activities compared with AP hydrolysates. AP peptides showing highest α‐glucosidase inhibitory activity were purified by anion‐exchange and size‐exclusion chromatography, and identified using tandem MS. We found three novel α‐glucosidase inhibitory peptides with sequences LLPLPVLK, SWLRL, and WLRL with IC50 of 237.43 ± 0.52, 182.05 ± 0.74, and 162.29 ± 0.74 μmol/L, respectively. Therefore, peptides hydrolyzed from soy protein are promising natural ingredients for nutraceutical applications assisting in the management of diabetes.

Abstract It is disappointing that despite having access to human resources at very little cost, rising countries' administrations are so ineffective. It is often believed that an organization's unheralded employees hold the keys to its success or failure. A person's mood and demeanor may be influenced by a variety of factors. Human resource management (HRM) methods have been created and used by scientists all over the globe in an effort to maximize the potential of their most important asset. Eco-friendly inventions are crucial to the survival of humanity and the prosperity of enterprises throughout the world. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to look at how green innovation affects both the environment and businesses. Green process metrics and green product metrics, for example, may have an impact on green innovation, which is why these metrics are important to track. The second primary goal of this research is to learn how the commitment and HR practices of top management shape the link between green innovation and economic and environmental success. A self-reported poll was taken by 370 employees in China's manufacturing industry. A partial least square structural equation modelling was used to examine the data collected between April 2021 and February 2022. This research employed confirmatory component analysis, a standard technique of structural equation modelling (SEM) for examining both overt and covert variables and indicators, to assess the reflecting indicators measurement model. The findings suggest that HRM has an effect on green innovation that is both positive and statistically significant. The environment and the economy benefit greatly from green innovations. Relationships between HRM and green innovation have no unfavorable implications on business results or the environment. However, human resource management has the potential to boost organizations' prosocial impact. In a three-way interaction (moderated moderation) model, organizational success is found to have a significant role, whereas environmental and organizational success play just a little one. To improve economic and environmental outcomes across all sectors, this study adds to the existing body of knowledge and argues for the wider implementation of green innovation practices. Human resource managers play a crucial role in developing a company's culture and values. The findings suggest that with leadership's blessing, green technologies may spread across a company.

Abstract Using the panel data of 284 cities from 2011 to 2020 in China, this research statistically tests the direct impact and internal mechanism of digital finance on urban haze pollution. The results show the following: (1) the development of digital finance can significantly inhibit the concentration of urban haze, and there is a stronger inhibitory effect in areas where the government pays more emphasis to haze pollution and in cities with high levels; (2) after mechanism inspection, it is found that digital finance can indirectly promote urban haze pollution by influencing green innovation, cooperative innovation, industrial structure upgrading, and producer service agglomeration; (3) the results of the spatial econometric analysis show that digital finance can suppress the haze concentration in the region and simultaneously inhibit the neighboring areas through spillover effects; (4) further inspection shows that the spatial spillover effect of digital finance on haze pollution has an obvious spatial attenuation feature, demonstrating that a dense area of spatial spillover is within 310 km. The spillover effect gradually disappears when the threshold is exceeded.

Abstract Meta-analysis is a valuable statistical tool in medical research. It allows researchers to combine data from multiple studies to produce more robust and reliable estimates of the intervention effects, particularly when individual studies have limited sample sizes and/or conflicting findings. By quantitatively synthesizing evidence from multiple sources, meta-analysis can provide a more comprehensive and holistic perspective on the available evidence and help inform decision-making and policy implementation in health care.
