Abstract A noteworthy frame of the literature has maintained the idea that communication in the classroom is dominant in language education, and in the process of language learning, teachers as an important figure may apply several ways to develop interpersonal relationships and social manners, such as teacher immediacy that has been established to support affective and cognitive learning in instructional settings. Therefore, this theoretical review tries to systematically refocus on the existing literature about teacher immediacy and its types, such as non-verbal and verbal, and their significant connections with affective and cognitive education. To this end, this review focuses on social behavior to review the eminence of teacher immediacy in the classroom and unquestionably exemplify their relationship with affective and cognitive learning. As a final fact, this review has been intended to consider the prevailing literature about teacher behavior, and suggestions and recommendations have been presented correspondingly for language teaching stakeholders in the educational setting.

Abstract Adult hangingflies are very sensitive to humidity, thereby frequently being used as ecological indicators to assess the degradation of the environment, especially forest ecosystems. Studies on the sense organs associated with hygro- and thermo-sensitivity, however, have been scant. Here, the ultramorphology and distribution of the flagellar sensilla were investigated in the adult hangingflies Bittacus planus Cheng, 1949 and Bittacus sinicus Issiki, 1931 using scanning electron microscopy. Four types of sensilla are identified in B. planus, including sensilla campaniformia, sensilla chaetica (SC1, SC2), sensilla basiconica (SB1, SB2), and sensilla coeloconica. In B. sinicus, sensilla chaetica III are present additionally from 7th to 14th flagellomeres. Abundant sensilla coeloconica are present on the flagella of Bittacus. Sensilla basiconica I are situated at the joints of flagellomeres. Sensilla campaniformia are densely distributed on the basal half of the first flagellomere, but scarcely on other flagellomeres. Sensilla chaetica II are present on the distal three flagellomeres. The size, abundance, and distribution of flagellar sensilla differ considerably between B. planus and B. sinicus. We infer that the abundance of sensilla coeloconica is likely associated with the hygro- and thermo-sensitivity in Bittacidae. Studies of flagellar sensilla can provide valuable information for subsequent electrophysiological, behavioral, biogeographical, and phylogenetic analyses of Bittacidae.

Abstract Tricholoma mongolicum is a well-known edible and medicinal mushroom that is rich in protein, polysaccharides, and other nutrients and is found in China's Inner Mongolia region, which has a variety of pharmacological activities. In this study, the water-soluble protein extract of T. mongolicum (WPTM) were assessed. Further, the anti-tumor activity of the water-soluble protein extract of T. mongolicum (WPTM) in H22 tumor-bearing mice was investigated in this study. The H22 anti-tumor activity of T. mongolicum protein was studied. WPTM significantly improved interferon-γ, interleukin-2, interleukin-6, and tumor necrosis factor-α levels in serum cytokine, but decreased vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) levels. And WPTM treatment of H22 tumor tissues significantly increased the expression levels of BAX and caspase-3 but decreased those of Bcl-2 and VEGF in a dose-dependent manner. In summary, the findings indicate that T. mongolicum is a protein-rich edible and medicinal fungus that is a potential functional food for the prevention and treatment of liver cancer. T. mongolicum has a high protein content and nutritional value, as well as anti-tumor properties, and is expected to be widely developed.

Abstract Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the colon with abdominal pain, diarrhea, and mucopurulent stools as the main symptoms. Its incidence is increasing worldwide, and traditional treatments have problems such as immunosuppression and metabolic disorders. In this article, the etiology and pathogenesis of ulcerative colitis are reviewed to clarify the targeted drugs of UC in the latest research. Our aim is to provide more ideas for the clinical treatment and new drug development of UC, mainly by analyzing and sorting out the relevant literature on PubMed, summarizing and finding that it is related to the main genetic, environmental, immune and other factors, and explaining its pathogenesis from the NF-κB pathway, PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, and JAK/STAT signaling pathway, and obtaining anti-TNF-α monoclonal antibodies, integrin antagonists, IL-12/IL-23 antagonists, novel UC-targeted drugs such as JAK inhibitors and SIP receptor agonists. We believe that rational selection of targeted drugs and formulation of the best dosing strategy under the comprehensive consideration of clinical evaluation is the best way to treat UC.

Abstract Background: On the one hand, to investigate the targeted regulation of miR-98-5p on heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor (HBEGF) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). On the other hand, elucidate the predictive effect of miR-98-5p combined with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data on the clinical prognosis of HCC patients.
Methods: Serum samples from 98 HCC patients and 54 healthy subjects were selected in order to detect miR-98-5p as well as HBEGF expression levels via real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR). A Luciferase reporter assay was performed to detect the interaction between miR-98-5p and HBEGF gene. The serum levels of IL-2, TNF-α, TGF-β1 and IFN-γ in HCC patients and in the control group (healthy subjects) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). In addition, receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC) was utilized to analyze the predictive ability of miR-98-5p combined with HBEGF for HCC. Finally, the survival curves were used to analyze the effect of HBEGF and miR-98-5p on the survival of patients with HCC.
Results: RT-qPCR results showed that the expression level of miR-98-5p was significantly decreased, while HBEGF expression was significantly increased in the serum of HCC patients compared with the control group. Luciferase reporter assay confirmed that miR-98-5p could target and bind HBEGF. Additionally, according to ELISA, IL-2, TNF-α, and TGF-β1 were significantly increased, while IFN-γ was significantly decreased in the serum of HCC patients compared with the control group. The results of ROC indicated that expressive levels of miR-98-5p and HBEGF had a high diagnostic value for HCC. At the same time, the survival curve results indicated high HBEGF expression and low miR-98-5p expression, suggesting a poor prognosis for HCC patients.
Conclusion: MiR-98-5p can target the down-regulating HBEGF gene. In addition, miR-98-5p combined with MRI data is of crucial guiding value in assessing the prognosis of patients with HCC in the clinic.

Abstract Scarcity refers to a state in which an individual's resources do not satisfy his/her needs. A sense of scarcity evokes negative emotions. A fundamental strategy for coping with this negative threat is for people to emphasize the desirability of their personal traits. In this study, a 2 (sense of scarcity: high or low) × 2 (valence: positive or negative) mixed-design experiment was conducted to examine whether and how a sense of scarcity affected one's self-evaluation. Participants were assigned randomly to a high- or low-scarcity group. The chances of assistance rendered to an individual during a word puzzle task were manipulated to induce a high or low sense of scarcity. Then, participants were asked to make positive and negative trait judgments of themselves compared with their average peers. The results showed that people judged their personalities to be more desirable (i.e., more positive and less negative traits) than their average peers, manifesting the above-average effect. More importantly, people with a high sense of scarcity manifested a greater above-average effect than those with a low sense of scarcity. This study suggests that people could highlight their positive aspects to cope with predicaments in social life.

Abstract Background: Intravascular leiomyomatosis (IVL) is often a non-malignant condition that grows inside the blood vessels and does not invade surrounding tissues. However, its presence within the blood vessels can lead to obstructions. The majority of IVL cases manifest symptoms related to blockage.
Case presentation: We present a case of a 50-year-old female patient who was referred to our institution due to the presence of a common non-cancerous tumor in the uterus, known as a benign uterine leiomyoma. The tumor was identified during an ultrasound examination during a routine physical examination. Postoperative pathology established the existence of intrapelvic IVL.
Conclusion: Intrapelvic IVL often not present with complications when it is confined to the pelvic cavity. Furthermore, the imaging features of intrapelvic IVL resemble those of typical benign uterine leiomyomas. This can often result in the clinical misdiagnosis of the tumor as a typical benign uterine leiomyoma.
