Abstract Introduction: This study conducted a survey of domestic violence victimization among women in China. Previously little research has been conducted on the subject of domestic violence against Chinese women as well as its relevance to their own economic power.
Methods: Using online questionnaires, this study collected data about 412 women with current or previous marital status who came from four income brackets in Beijing and Shanghai.
Results: It revealed that the proportions of physical, emotional, economic, and sexual violence they experienced were about 27.91%, 62.38%, 21.12%, and 30.10%, respectively. Women belonging to the highest income bracket faced almost the same risk of domestic violence compared with other income groups. Furthermore, there was a slight upward tendency in physical and emotional violence victimization in the highest-income group. The binary logistic regression analysis showed that adverse childhood experiences, arguments between couples due to different opinions regarding gender ideologies, and the approval level for specific gender ideologies were common significant factors across different income brackets. When all income brackets were considered, a higher income was tested as a protective factor with regard to sexual violence. As for the income gap between couples, women whose incomes were "once higher than that of the husband but now lower/almost the same" or "always higher than that of the husband" faced a higher risk of physical violence than women whose incomes were "always lower than/almost the same as that of the husband."
Discussion: This study not only revealed the reality of domestic violence victimization in China but also suggested that more attention should be paid to high-income women's domestic violence victimization as well as the importance of helping them both through academia and domestic violence support institutions.

Abstract Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a rapidly emerging infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. Inflammatory factors may play essential roles in COVID-19 progression. Huashi Baidu Decoction (HSBD) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula that can expel cold, dispel dampness, and reduce inflammation. HSBD has been widely used for the treatment of COVID-19. However, the active ingredients and potential targets for HSBD to exert anti-inflammatory or anti-SARS-CoV-2 effects remain unclear. In this paper, the active ingredients with anti-inflammatory or anti-viral effects in HSBD and their potential targets were screened using the Discovery Studio 2020 software. By overlapping the targets of HSBD and COVID-19, 8 common targets (FYN, SFTPD, P53, RBP4, IL1RN, TTR, SRPK1, and AKT1) were identified. We determined 2 key targets (P53 and AKT1) by network pharmacology. The main active ingredients in HSBD were evaluated using the key targets as receptor proteins for molecular docking. The results suggested that the best active ingredients Kaempferol2 and Kaempferol3 have the potential as supplements for the treatment of COVID-19.

Abstract Fluorescent lateral flow immunoassay (FLFIA) is widely used mainly because of its low cost and instant detection. Its limit of detection (LOD) is closely related to fluorescence signals, and the development of fluorescence signals with fine performance remains a challenge. In this work, dendritic mesoporous silica nanoparticles (DMSNs) were used as fine carriers due to their large pore size and stable performance. We successfully synthesized carbon dots (CDs) with a 560 nm maximum emission wavelength (CD

Abstract Objective: To explore the feasibility of using marking and fusion image-guided technique with cone-beam CT (CBCT) in cases of kidney ruptured haemorrhage without extravascular leakage in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) images.
Methods: This is a retrospective case-control study that included 43 patients who underwent transcatheter arterial embolization for kidney ruptured haemorrhage and difficult haemostasis. The patients were divided into two groups: the CBCT group (cases without extravascular leakage observed in angiography) and the control group (cases with clearly identifiable target vessels in angiography). The baseline characteristics and clinical outcomes were collected and analysed.
Results: The results showed no statistically significant differences in the duration of the procedure and intraoperative blood transfusion between the control and CBCT groups (P > .05). The study clarified that the CBCT group had a significantly higher rate of improvement of gross haematuria compared to the control group (P < .05). The CBCT group showed a greater increase in haemoglobin and a lesser increase in creatinine. The clinical success rates were 87.5% in the control group and 90.9% in the CBCT group (P > .05).
Conclusions: The marking and fusion image-guided technique is useful in cases of kidney ruptured haemorrhage without extravascular leakage of contrast agent. The technique is safe, feasible, and effective, and we believe it is superior to purely DSA-guidance.
Advances in knowledge: The use of the marking and fusion image-guided technique is recommended to overcome the challenge of undetectable target vessels during interventional procedures. This technique is considered as non-inferior to purely DSA-guided interventional procedures where the target vessels are clearly identifiable.

Abstract It is vital to determine the changing spatiotemporal patterns and driving factors of green total factor energy efficiency (GTFEE) in order to design scientific policies to promote energy efficiency in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) region. From 2010 to 2019, the super-efficient SBM model and the global Malmquist-Luenberger index provide an appropriate framework for measuring the spatiotemporal evolution of GTFEE and the dynamics of energy productivity in RCEP countries. With the coefficient of variation and the Thiel index, an extensive view of the spatiotemporal variance in GTFEE is offered, taking regional heterogeneity into account. Furthermore, the Tobit model is introduced to investigate the factors influencing the GTFEE of RCEP members, which may address the restricted values of the dependent variable when compared to the least squares regression model. Findings suggest that (1) The GTFEE of RCEP members tends to be low and unevenly distributed spatially and temporally, with much room for improvement. (2) The energy productivity index fluctuates strongly, and the improvement primarily comes from technological progress. (3) The Non-ASEAN region possesses higher GTFEE than the ASEAN region, albeit regional variations are diminishing. (4) In terms of the major factors influencing the regional GTFEE, the non-ASEAN region looks to be distinct from the ASEAN region. The findings shed light on the trends and influencing factors of GTFEE in RCEP and serve as a resource for international energy cooperation and sustainable development.

Abstract Catalytic enantioselective functionalization of unactivated 1,1-disubstituted alkenes is challenging due to the difficulty to discriminate the enantiotopic faces. Enantioselective hydrofunctionalization of unactivated 1,1-disubstituted alkenes with tunable Markovnikov and anti-Markovnikov selectivity remains elusive. We report here an amide-directed, regiodivergent and enantioselective hydroalkynylation of unactivated alkenes. The regioselectivity can be readily tuned by the choice of a proper ligand. Catalytic alkynylations occurred with tunable Markovnikov and anti-Markovnikov selectivity to afford products containing acyclic tertiary or quaternary stereocenters β to an amide. Combining a sequence of alkene isomerization and regioselective hydroalkynylation, we further realized an iridium-catalyzed formal asymmetric conjugated alkynylation of β,β-disubstituted α,β-unsaturated amides. Computational studies suggest that the regioselectivity is dictated by the ligand structures.

Abstract With the rising concern over the depletion of phosphorus rock, phosphorus recovery from wastewater has become a key step for sustainable economy. Herein, simultaneous phosphorus leaching and nutrient recovery were accomplished in an electrochemical nutrient recovery cell (ENRC) treating digested anaerobic sludge. The anode reaction of water electrolysis lowered the sludge pH from 8.0 to 2.0 at a current density of 25 A m⁻², elevating the PO₄³⁻-P concentration from 27.72 to 253.47 mg L⁻¹, comparable to that from direct acid leaching. The released PO₄³⁻-P was transferred to the cathode chamber for recovery, where PO₄³⁻-P recovery efficiency was enhanced from 42.0% to 90.3% by 0.26 M HCl catholyte acidification. The ENRC recovered 90-98% of the coexisting NH₄⁺-N in the sludge. Increasing current density accelerated both phosphorus leaching and PO₄³⁻-P & NH₄⁺-N recovery, but at the expense of a higher energy consumption. After five consecutive cycles of operation, the PO₄³⁻-P and NH₄⁺-N concentrations reached 404.56 and 3493.56 mg L⁻¹, respectively, at a normalized energy consumption of 229.20 ± 30.13 kWh kg⁻¹ P or 25.67 ± 3.07 kWh kg ⁻¹ N. At pH 8.5, 99% of the recovered aqueous PO₄³⁻-P in the recovery solution precipitated, mainly as calcium phosphate that can have a good soil phosphorus availability. The results of this study have provided a foundation for further exploration of electrochemically leaching P from waste sludge with simultaneous nutrient recovery.
