Abstract Collatz conjecture is also known as 3 X + 1 conjecture. For verifying the conjecture, we designed an algorithm that can output reduced dynamics (occurred 3 × x + 1 or x /2 computations from a starting integer to the first integer smaller than the starting integer) and original dynamics of integers (from a starting integer to 1). Especially, the starting integer has no upper bound. That is, extremely large integers with length of about 100,000 bits, e.g., 2 100000 − 1, can be verified for Collatz conjecture, which is much larger than current upper bound (about 2 60 ). We analyze the properties of those data (e.g., reduced dynamics) and discover the following laws; reduced dynamics is periodic and the period is the length of its reduced dynamics; the count of x /2 equals to minimal integer that is not less than the count of (3 × x + 1)/2 times ln(1.5)/ln(2). Besides, we observe that all integers are partitioned regularly in half and half iteratively along with the prolonging of reduced dynamics, thus given a reduced dynamics we can compute a residue class that presents this reduced dynamics by a proposed algorithm. It creates one-to-one mapping between a reduced dynamics and a residue class. These observations from data can reveal the properties of reduced dynamics, which are proved mathematically in our other papers (see references). If it can be proved that every integer has reduced dynamics, then every integer will have original dynamics (i.e., Collatz conjecture will be true). The data set includes reduced dynamics of all odd positive integers in [3, 99999999] whose remainder is 3 when dividing 4, original dynamics of some extremely large integers, and all computer source codes in C that implement our proposed algorithms for generating data (i.e., reduced or original dynamics).

Abstract With the rapid development of information technology, the traditional single classroom teaching and passive learning methods of students can no longer meet the needs of all-round development of college students, and its urgent need to integrate with information technology. This article is aimed at the problem of lagging feedback on training results in the traditional teaching model, teachers’ active control, students’ passive obedience, ignoring the development of students’ personality in college football classrooms, and the inability to carry out personalized tracking and quantitative improvement of the training process of students’ related abilities. We constructed a college football classroom practice teaching system model based on big data analysis from the perspectives of establishing big data teaching resources, and implementing personalized resource recommendation, optimizing the traditional teaching process, integrating quantitative training, measurement and recording, implementing quantitative intervention, etc. Colleges and universities have carried out experimental observations. Through continuous observation and comparison, it is found that college football classroom practice teaching under big data is more conducive to improving students’ football skills and theoretical level than traditional teaching. This model makes full use of the advantages of big data and the combination of practical teaching methods, which can bring students a different learning experience and obtain good teaching effects. It has guiding and reference significance for college football practical teaching.

Abstract The management level of medical equipment is an important index to evaluate the modernization degree of hospitals and it is also the basic element of medical and scientific research work, which plays a key role in the development of medical clinical science. Under the background of the rapid development of modern Internet of Things (IoT) technology, hospitals should be fully aware of the role of Internet of Things technology in hospital medical equipment management. With the increasing demand for refined management of medical equipment in hospitals, the application potential of the Internet of Things technology in medical equipment management has gradually become prominent. The management of medical equipment in a hospital is an important part of the management of the hospital, which is related to the medical level, service quality, and economic benefits of the hospital. In this paper, we have analyzed current problems in the management of medical equipment in hospitals, discussed the application of the Internet of Things technology in the management of medical equipment, and promoted the management of medical equipment to be more intelligent and automated. Experimental results have verified that the proposed scheme could be one of the trustworthy automated systems, preferably technology assisted, for the proper management of the medical equipment particularly in hospitals.

Abstract The morbidity and mortality rates associated with vascular disease (VD) have been gradually increasing. Currently, the most common treatment for VD is surgery, with the progress in drug therapy remaining slow. Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural extract of Cannabis sativa L. with sedative, analgesic, and nonaddictive properties. CBD binds to 56 cardiovascular-related receptors and exerts extensive regulatory effects on the cardiovascular system, making it a potential pharmacological agent for the management of VD. However, most CBD studies have focused on neurological and cardiac diseases, and research on the management of VD with CBD is still rare. In this review, we summarize the currently available data on CBD in the management of VD, addressing four aspects: the major molecular targets of CBD in VD management, pharmacokinetic properties, therapeutic effects of CBD on common VDs, and side effects. The findings indicate that CBD has anti-anxiety, anti-oxidation, and anti-inflammatory properties and can inhibit abnormal proliferation and apoptosis of vascular smooth muscle and endothelial cells; these effects suggest CBD as a therapeutic agent for atherosclerosis, stress-induced hypertension, diabetes-related vasculopathy, ischemia-reperfusion injury, and vascular damage caused by smoking and alcohol abuse. This study provides a theoretical basis for further research on CBD in the management of VD.

Abstract The new direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) are increasingly used to treat and prevent thromboembolic disorders, and monitoring concentrations may be valuable in some special scenarios to prevent clinical adverse events. This study aimed to develop generic methods for the rapid and simultaneous analysis of four DOACs in human plasma and urine. Protein precipitation and one-step dilution were used to prepare the plasma and urine; the extracts were injected to ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) for analysis. Chromatographic separation was performed on an Acquity™ UPLC BEH C 18 column (2.1 × 50 mm, 1.7 μm) with gradient elution of 7 min. A triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer with an electrospray ionization source was employed to analyze DOACs in a positive ion mode. The methods showed great linearity in the plasma (1~500 ng/mL) and urine (10~10,000 ng/mL) for all analytes (R 2 ≥ 0.99). The intra- and inter-day precision and accuracy were within acceptance criteria. The matrix effect and extraction recovery were 86.5~97.5% and 93.5~104.7% in the plasma, while 97.0~101.9% and 85.1~99.5% in the urine. The stability of samples during the routine preparation and storage were within the acceptance criteria of less than ±15%. The methods developed were accurate, reliable, and simple for the rapid and simultaneous measurement of four DOACs in human plasma and urine, and successfully applied to patients and subjects with DOACs therapy for anticoagulant activity assessment.
