Abstract The robotics industry and associated technology applications are a vital support for modern production and manufacturing. With the intelligent development of the manufacturing industry, the application of collaboration robots and human-robot collaboration technology is becoming more and more extensive. In a human-robot collaboration scenario, there are uncertainties such as dynamic impediments, especially in the human upper limb, which puts forward a higher assessment of the manipulator's route planning technology. As one of the primary branches of the artificial potential field (APF), the velocity potential field (VPF) offers the advantages of good real-time performance and convenient mathematical expression. However, the traditional VPF algorithm is prone to local oscillation phenomena near obstacles, which degrades the smoothness of the movement of the manipulators. An improved velocity potential field algorithm is proposed in this paper. This method solves the problem of sudden velocity change when the manipulator enters and departs the region of the potential field by setting new functions for attraction velocity and repulsion velocity functions. A virtual target point construction method is given to overcome the local oscillation problem of the manipulators near obstacles. The simulation and practical findings of the manipulators reveal that the improved VPF algorithm can not only avoid collision but also effectively reduce the local oscillation problem when dealing with the human upper limb as a dynamic obstacle. The implementation of this algorithm can increase the safety and real-time performance of the human-robot collaboration process and ensure that the collaborative robot is safer and smoother in the working process.

Abstract Abnormal drainage of the inferior vena cava to the left atrium and Budd-Chiari syndrome are different congenital malformations. The combination of these 2 disorders is very rare. We report a case of a 35-year-old woman with anomalous inferior vena cava drainage into the left atrium resulting in delayed hypoxic symptoms after interventional therapy for Budd-Chiari syndrome 17 years ago. We speculate that an abnormality of the Eustachian valve is the cause of these 2 disorders. After surgical treatment, the patient's oxygen saturation returned to normal.

Abstract Objective: This study aimed to investigate the predictive effect of preoperative and postoperative interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels on the duration of mechanical ventilation in patients with acute DeBakey Type I aortic dissection (I-AAD) after emergency surgery.
Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 381 patients with I-AAD who underwent surgery in our hospital, between June 2018 and June 2022. Patients were divided into two groups according to whether prolonged mechanical ventilation (PMV) occurred after surgery. The baseline data, biochemical indicators at admission, surgical data, biochemical indicators at postoperative 6 h, and the postoperative data of the two groups were recorded and analyzed.
Results: The PMV group comprised 199 patients, and the non-PMV group 182. The postoperative in-hospital mortality was different between the two groups (11.1% vs. 3.3%, p = 0.004). The length of intensive care unit and hospitalization time in the PMV group were significantly longer than those in the non-PMV group. Multiple regression analysis showed postoperative IL-6 (post-IL-6) ≥67.1 pg/mL and summation of preoperative and postoperative IL-6 (total IL-6) ≥83.4 pg/mL were associated risk factors for PMV [odds ratio (OR) 3.259, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.922-5.524, p < 0.001], [(OR) 4.515, 95% CI 2.241-9.098, p < 0.001]. Furthermore, determined by the receiver operating characteristics(ROC) curve, the cut-off point was total IL-6 ≥83.4 pg/mL (area under curve(AUC) = 0.825). The sensitivity and specificity of predicting postoperative PMV of patients with I-AAD were 91.5% and 78.2%, respectively (95% CI 0.782-0.868, p < 0.001).
Conclusion: For predicting postoperative PMV in patients with I-AAD, post IL-6 ≥67.1 pg/mL is potentially valuable and summation of preoperative and postoperative IL-6 (total IL-6) ≥83.4 pg/mL has a more pronounced predictive value.

Abstract Purpose: Older patients with acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) have higher risk of mortality than that of younger patients when a total arch reconstruction (TAR) is required. Triple-branched stent graft (TBSG) implantation is a novel technique for TAR. However, early outcomes of a TBSG implantation in older patients have not been reported. This study aimed to evaluate the early outcomes of the TBSG technique in older patients with ATAAD.
Methods: From February 2015 to December 2020, 640 patients who simultaneously underwent an emergent open aortic surgery and TBSG implantation for ATAAD were enrolled in this study. They were categorized into the younger (age ≤ 70 years old, n = 573) and older groups (age > 70 years, n = 67). Clinical data of all patients were retrospectively reviewed.
Result: The mean ages of the patients in the younger and older groups were 45.3 ± 9.6 years old and 73.5 ± 3.0 years old, respectively. Preoperative characteristics were similar between the two groups, except for weight and incidence of moderate or greater aortic regurgitation, which were lower in the older group than those in the younger group. Surgical procedure and duration (i.e., duration for cardiopulmonary bypass, aortic cross-clamp, selected cerebral perfusion, and total circulation arrest) were comparable between the two groups (p > 0.05). Patients in the older group had higher incidence of dialysis for acute kidney injury and longer ICU stay compared with those in the younger group. However, the incidences of 30-day mortality (5.1% in younger group vs. 7.5% in older group, p = 0.407) and other major complications (i.e., neurological adverse events) were similar between the two groups.
Conclusion: TBSG implantation for ATAAD resulted in an acceptable mortality rate in patients above 70 years old, thus, it could be a feasible surgical procedure to perform in older patients with ATAAD when a TAR is required.

Abstract Objective: To explore the incidence and associated factors of glaucoma optic nerve damage (GOND) among patients with Posner-Schlossman syndrome.
Methods: We retrieved relative studies till July 2022 using databases including PubMed, CNKI, VIP, and Wan-Fang. The retrieval terms include "Posner-Schlossman syndrome", "Glaucomatocyclitic Crisis", and "visual field". The Chinese retrieval terms were the corresponding Chinese terminologies for the English terms mentioned above. The outcomes were the incidence of GOND among PSS patients, the male proportion, patient age, the proportion of patients with single eye affected, disease duration, and intraocular pressure during the episode in patients with or without GOND. Review manager 5.3 was used for the analysis.
    Results: In total, 19 studies were included in our analysis. The pooled incidence of GOND among PSS patients was 0.26 (95% CI = 0.16-0.43). Age [MD = 11.3(5.86, 16.73); P < .0001], disease duration [MD = 4.27 (3.38, 5.16), P < .00001], and single or double eye affected [RR = 0.69 (0.49, 0.98), P = .04] were significantly associated with the development of GOND. Whereas, gender [RR = 1.09 (0.91, 1.29), P = .35] and intraocular pressure at episodes [MD = 2.66 (-0.38, 5.7), P = .09] were not significantly associated with GOND development.
Conclusion: A fraction of PSS patients ultimately develop GOND so physicians should not be highly optimistic about the prognosis of PSS patients and timely and effective treatment is very important. Patients of higher age, those with double eyes affected, and suffering from a long disease duration might be at a greater risk of developing GOND.

Abstract In this study, an improved integrated framework (Distribution-Evolution-Equilibrium, abbreviated as DEE) was developed to analyze the spatiotemporal characteristics of climate change, in which the precipitation (Pr) and temperature (Te) were selected as typical elements. The DEE framework is dedicated to not only making clear the distribution and evolution (i.e., tendency, mutability and periodicity) features of climate change, but also determining its temporal concentration and spatial equilibrium patterns. Then, a case study was conducted in Upper Yellow River basin (UYRB), China. Furthermore, the response relationship between the Southern Oscillation Index (SOI), Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO), Arctic Oscillation (AO), Sunspot (SN) and Pr, Te also were explored. Results reveal that: a) The Pr and Te generally present an upward trend in various degrees, while their high-value centers are distributed independently in space, with almost no duplication; b) there are abrupt variations in climate change, especially in the Oliver, 1980s and 1990s, meanwhile the climate elements all have multi-period variation characteristics; c) the Pr and Te have relatively even distribution throughout the year, and the equilibrium state has been maintained at an ideal level and its degree generally remains within 0.4–0.7; d) AO and SN have more significant impact on climate change than SOI and PDO, but they are mainly locally correlated. Findings can provide reference to climatic disaster prevention, regional high-quality development, and ecological civilization construction.

Abstract The mismatch of spatial distribution between water resources and human activities presents a considerable challenge to the sustainable utilization of water resources. This trend is further exacerbated by the impact of climate change and the increasingly frequent occurrence of extreme weather. Therefore, it is imperative to conduct an in-depth study on water resource spatial equilibrium (WRSE). This paper proposed an integrated diagnostic framework for WRSE considering the water-economy-ecology nexus, in which an improved evaluation index system of WRSE was constructed. The WRSE states of three criteria layers are quantified with the spatial equilibrium indices of water resource endowment, economic and social development, and ecological environmental protection. The water resource spatial equilibrium index (WRSEI) was calculated using the Euclidean distance to reflect the overall spatial equilibrium state. The key influencing factors of WRSE are analyzed through the obstacle degree model. The findings indicate that: a) the WRSEI in the Yangtze River to Huaihe River Water Transfer Project (YHWTP) area showed a gradual increase from 0.641 in 2011 to 0.662 in 2020; b) the WRSE level of each criterion layer attained a general equilibrium or fair equilibrium state, and the WRSE state shows a trend from dispersion to aggregation during 2011 and 2020; c) per capita water resources, per capita gross domestic product and per capita urban wastewater discharge are the main factors limiting the realization of a benign WRSE in the YHWTP, with the obstacle degrees reaching 0.347, 0.324 and 0.326 in 2020 respectively. This framework can provide theoretical reference for the study of WRSE, and provide a scientific basis and suggestions for policymakers to enhance WRSE and achieve sustainable utilization of water resources.

Abstract Background: Long non-cording RNAs (lncRNAs) drive the malignant progression of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a cancer with high mortality rates but the function of FERM Domain Containing 6 antisense RNA 1 (FRMD6-AS1) in HCC has not been fully addressed. Hypoxia-inducible factors (HIFs) are transcription factors relevant to HCC under hypoxia and are regulated by SUMO-specific protease 1 (SENP1) through its deSUMOylation of HIF-1α. The current study investigated the role of FRMD6-AS1 in the regulation of SENP1-mediated deSUMOylation of HIF-1α.
Methods: HUH7 and MHCC97H cells were treated with CoCl
Results: FRMD6-AS1 was upregulated in HCC tissues and cells and its upregulation indicated poor prognosis for HCC patients. FRMD6-AS1 promoted HCC cells migration and stemness in vitro and also promoted tumor growth in an in vivo mouse xenograft model. Mechanistic studies showed that FRMD6-AS1 regulated the level of HIF-1α protein but not the mRNA and this effect was achieved by binding to SENP1 protein and enhancing its protease activity. Rescue experiments demonstrated the oncogenic role of the FRMD6-AS1/SENP1/ HIF-1α axis in HCC cells.
Conclusions: High FRMD6-AS1 expression was associated with poor prognosis of HCC patients. FRMD6-AS1 may have an oncogenic role in HCC via regulation of the SENP1/HIF-1α axis and may be a prognostic biomarker for HCC. Blockade of FRMD6-AS1 may offer a novel therapeutic approach to restrict HCC progression.

Abstract Background: To investigate the seasonal, monthly, and daily distributions of the incidence of Stanford type-A acute aortic dissection (TAAAD) and identify seasonality in the duration of hospital stay and in-hospital mortality of TAAAD in south-eastern China.
Methods: We enrolled patients diagnosed with TAAAD between 1 June 2017 and 31 May 2021. Participants were divided into seasonal, monthly, and daily groups according to the need for analysis. Analysis of variance was applied to compare the number of TAAAD in different seasons, months, and days. χ
Results: Of the 485 patients, 154 were diagnosed in winter (31.8%), 115 in spring (23.7%), 73 in summer (15.1%), and 143 in autumn (29.5%). The daily, monthly, and seasonal distributions of TAAAD were significantly different (P = 0.04, P < 0.01, and P < 0.01, respectively). This study did not identify any significant decrease in maximal, mean, or minimum temperatures between the three days before TAAAD and the day of TAAAD. No seasonal variations associated with in-hospital mortality was observed (P = 0.89). However, significant differences were observed in the seasonal distribution of the duration of hospital stay for TAAAD [winter was 17.0 (4.0-24.0) days, spring was 20.0 (14.0-29.0) days, summer was 20.0 (12.5-31.0) days, and autumn was 20.0 (13.0-30.0) days, P < 0.01]. Multiple factor analysis showed that winter was the independent risk factor for the increased duration of hospital stay. The odds ratio for winter was 2.21 (1.46, 3.33, P < 0.01).
Conclusions: Our study confirmed that the incidence of TAAAD exhibits seasonal, monthly, and daily variations in south-eastern China. Moreover, the daily incidence of TAAAD is higher on weekdays than that on weekends.
