Abstract Newborn death accounts for half of under 5 child death in China. Decreasing neonatal mortality and improving health status of children at early stage of life have great significance on public health. This is also a solution to accomplish the goal of "ending preventable newborn deaths" of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. According to the World Health Organization, many causes leading to newborn deaths can be prevented and avoided by simple interventions. "Early Essential Newborn Care (EENC) " is a package of simple interventions that include early mother to child skin to skin contact, delayed umbilical cord clamping, breast feeding, kangaroo mother care for preterm, neonatal resuscitation, and infection identifying and treatment. These prioritized evidence-based interventions can improve the content and quality of newborn health care, which are bound to be promoted and implemented throughout the country. Future research should be conducted to explore solutions to solve difficulties and challenges of EENC implementation.

Abstract Objective: Previous studies on settlement intentions have mainly focused on the explanations of social and economic rationality, culture, and institution, but insufficient attention had been paid to the relationship between health and settlement intentions. This study explored the relationship between changes in the health status of immigrants and their settlement intentions. Method: A cross-sectional survey was conducted both in 2018 and 2019. Foreigners who visited the Yiwu Municipal Exit−Entry Administration Office to extend their visas were invited to participate in the study. Quantitative data, such as the participants’ sociodemographic characteristics, job status, employment, immigration experience, key factors associated with the intention to settle down, medical insurance coverage, and changes in health status, were collected by questionnaire. Results: A change in health status significantly affected the intention to settle down: the more healthy that people became, the more likely they intended to settle down (β = 0.233; p < 0.001), and, simultaneously, changes in health status were also moderated by the length of stay in China (β = 0.320; p < 0.001) and medical insurance (β = 0.134; p < 0.001), which affected people’s willingness to settle down. Conclusions: Changes in health status, and not health status itself, affected immigrants’ willingness to settle down. In addition, social insurance, and the length of stay in the place receiving immigrants, affected immigrants’ willingness to settle down not only directly, but also indirectly by moderating the impact of the change in health status on the willingness to settle down.

Abstract The process of tumor growth and deterioration is accompanied by increased oxygen free radicals, high glutathione concentration, hypoxia, and poor drug targeting during treatment, limiting the treatment of tumors. Metal-organic framework (MOF) preparations are continuously being developed and applied in tumor therapy. In this paper, the design and application of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and redox drug-loaded MOF preparations are reviewed. Moreover, the research challenges and application prospects of MOFs in tumor therapy are also discussed.

Abstract Currently, immunotherapy has entered the clinical diagnosis and treatment guidelines for colon cancer, but existing immunotherapy markers cannot predict the effectiveness of immunotherapy well. This study utilized the TCGA-COAD queue to perform differential gene analysis on high and low-mutation burden samples, and screen differentially expressed genes (DEGs). To explore new molecular markers or predictive models of immunotherapy by using DEGs for NMF classification and prognostic model construction. Through systematic bioinformatics analysis, the TCGA-COAD cohort was successfully divided into high mutation burden subtypes and low mutation burden subtypes by NMF typing using DEGs. The proportion of MSI-H between high mutation burden subtypes was significantly higher than that of low mutation burden subtypes, but there was no significant difference in immunotherapy efficacy between the two subtypes. Drug sensitivity analysis showed significant differences in drug sensitivity between the two subtypes. Subsequently, we constructed a prognostic model using DEGs, which can effectively predict patient survival and immunotherapy outcomes. The prognosis and immunotherapy outcomes of the low-risk group were significantly better than those of the high-risk group. The external dataset validation of the constructed prognostic model using the GSE39582 dataset from the GEO database yielded consistent results. At the same time, we also analyzed the TMB and MSI situation between the high and low-risk groups, and the results showed that there was no significant difference in TMB between the high and low-risk groups, but the proportion of MSI-H in the high-risk group was significantly higher than that in the low-risk group. Finally, we conclude that TMB is not a suitable molecular marker for predicting the efficacy of immunotherapy in colon cancer. The newly constructed prognostic model can effectively differentiate the prognosis of colon cancer patients and predict their immunotherapy efficacy.
