Abstract The aim of this study is to enhance the fuel economy of a continuously variable tractor transmission by analyzing its energy and fuel consumption. First, we present the principle of a self-developed tractor transmission based on power splitting and examine its parasitic power characteristics. Next, we construct a mathematical model of the hydraulic system, mechanical system, and entire transmission, calibrating the model to ensure the accuracy of subsequent results. We then perform a systematic analysis of the energy and fuel consumption of the tractor transmission. Finally, we optimize the transmission through design and power matching, investigating the impact of changes in parameters and control strategies on the fuel economy of the transmission. The results indicate that fuel consumption can be reduced by 2%-14% through parameter optimization and by an additional 0%-20% through appropriate power matching.

Abstract With the development of science and technology and the progress of society, various high and new technologies have increasingly shown their respective advantages. Among them, geophysical prospecting technology is a typical representative. Because it can greatly improve the speed and efficiency of engineering, and at the same time, it also plays an important role in engineering safety and prevention. Therefore, it is widely promoted and applied, especially in engineering survey work. This article studies the importance of geophysical prospecting in engineering exploration, the methods of geophysical prospecting technology, the application of geophysical prospecting technology, and the development trend of geophysical prospecting technology. How to better understand the application of geophysical prospecting technology and rationally choose working methods and methods, so as to serve the geological exploration work to the utmost extent, is an important topic that needs to be solved and studied urgently.

Abstract We investigate the impact of bovine pulmonary surfactant (PS) on LPS-induced ALI in vitro and in vivo to improve recognition and prevent mortality in sepsis-induced ALI. Primary alveolar type II (AT2) cells were treated with LPS alone or in combination with PS. Cell morphology observation, CCK-8 proliferation assay, flow cytometry apoptosis assay, and ELISA for inflammatory cytokine levels were performed at different time points after treatment. An LPS-induced ALI rat model was established and treated with vehicle or PS. Lung wet/dry weight ratio, histopathological changes, lung function parameters, and serum inflammatory cytokine levels were examined 6 h after PS treatment. Survival analysis by Kaplan-Meier method. RNA sequencing was conducted to identify LPS-induced differentially expressed genes in rat lungs. Proapoptotic gene expression in rat lungs was determined by Western blot. LPS significantly inhibited cell proliferation while promoting apoptosis of AT2 cells starting 2 h after treatment, accompanied by a significant increase in inflammatory cytokine production; PS reversed these effects. PS decreased the lung wet/dry ratio in septic rats, histological abnormalities, alterations in lung function parameters, and inflammatory cytokines production; while improving the overall survival of rats. LPS-induced differentially expressed genes were closely associated with apoptosis. PS attenuated LPS-induced upregulation of proapoptotic gene expression starting 2 h after treatment in AT2 cells while restoring lung ATPase activity in vivo. Bovine PS alleviates LPS-induced ALI in the early phase, possibly by suppressing inflammation and AT2 cell apoptosis, as a preemptive therapeutic agent for managing sepsis-induced ALI.

Abstract 5-Fluorouracil is a commonly used chemotherapy drug for colorectal cancer. Resistance to 5-Fluorouracil remains a challenge. This research aimed to explore the mechanism of 5-Fluorouracil resistance in colorectal cancer. RT-qPCR and Western blot were used to determine the RNA and protein expression in both cells and exosome. Assays in vitro and in vivo were performed to measure the role of miR-149-5p in colorectal cancer cells. RIP, luciferase activity report, and RNA pulldown assay were applied to detect the association of PTOV1-AS1, SUV39H1, miR-149-5p, and FOXM1. MiR-149-5p was down-expressed in 5-Fluorouracil-resistant cells. MiR-149-5p enhanced the effectiveness of 5-Fluorouracil both in vitro and in vivo. Sensitive colorectal cancer cells released exosomal miR-149-5p to sensitize resistant cells to chemotherapy. Mechanistically, miR-149-5p targeted the FOXM1 to inactivate Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and PTOV1-AS1 recruited SUV39H1 to suppress miR-149-5p transcription, in turn activating Wnt/β-catenin pathway, and forming a positive feedback loop with FOXM1. PTOV1-AS1 inhibits miR-149-5p by a positive feedback loop with FOXM1-mediated Wnt/β-catenin pathway, which provides insights into a potential novel target for enhancing the effectiveness of chemotherapy in colorectal cancer patients.

Abstract The mechanical and magnetic properties of Ferromagnetic Shape Memory Alloy-Epoxy Resin (FSMA-ER) composite which is a new kind of functional composite material are investigated in this work. Based on the Mori-Tanaka method and equivalent inclusion theory of the micromechanics, a micromechanical constitutive model in the form of tensor for this new composite is established, which considers the interaction between different variants in FSMA, as well as the interaction between FSMA and epoxy resin. The mechanical and magnetic behavior of the FSMA-ER composite under complex loads can be well described by this model. Numerical results show that the FSMA-ER composite exhibits a good pseudoelastic property due to the reorientation of different variants in FSMA. Several other particular features of this new composite are also observed through the numerical results, which can content many special requirements in the actual applications. This research not only displays the particular mechanical and magnetic behavior of the FSMA-ER composite but also provides a base for the design of this kind of material.

Abstract A hydrostatic power split continuously variable transmission (CVT) for a tractor often has multiple ranges to improve transmission efficiency. However, a failure of the wet-clutch control system will lead to interruption of tractor power and even endanger driving safety. To improve the reliability of CVT tractors, methods for diagnosing faults in the wet-clutch control system were studied. A test bench was built and the clutch engagement pressure was measured under different fault modes. For these time series data, statistics such as the mean, variance, kurtosis etc. were selected as features in the analysis. An improved Gaussian naive Bayes algorithm based on a time window as well as principal component analysis were used to classify the different fault modes of the clutch control system. Finally, the performance of the algorithm was analyzed. A test with multiple faults was run, as was a comparison with traditional algorithms. By optimizing the time window for data interception, the classification accuracy of the Gaussian naive Bayes algorithm for normal operation reached 97% and reached 100% for the fault modes. The average accuracy and recall rate of fault diagnosis were 98.2% and 89.4%, respectively, which are better than the results for a support vector machine, the k-nearest neighbors algorithm, or the decision tree algorithm. Importantly, the results show that the clutch pressure fluctuations during the shift by a tractor CVT can be used for the fault diagnosis of a clutch control system.

Abstract Kaempferol is a flavonoid that has been extensively investigated owing to its antitumor effects. Nevertheless, little is known about its underlying mechanisms of action. We aimed to explore the role of kaempferol in breast cancer (BC), and thus we investigated how kaempferol suppresses the growth of BC cells. The cells were treated with kaempferol, and the effects on multiple cancer-associated pathways were evaluated. The MTS assay was used to study the cell growth inhibition induced by kaempferol. The cell cycle was analyzed by flow cytometry. Western blotting was used to analyze cellular apoptosis and DNA damage. We found that the proliferation of the triple-negative BC (TNBC) MDA-MB-231 cells was suppressed effectively by kaempferol. Interestingly, the suppressive effect of kaempferol on cell proliferation was stronger in MDA-MB-231 cells than in the estrogen receptor-positive BT474 cell line. Furthermore, after the treatment with kaempferol for 48 h, the population of cells in the G
