Abstract In this study, the apparent variation ranges of acoustical parameters were investigated in a concert hall. The initial time delay gap (ITDG) was evaluated in terms of its just noticeable difference (JND) through two instruments, the cello and the trumpet. Even though the IDTG values were prolonged over the measurements and were not significantly varied, an ITDG range of 22–220 ms in increments of 91 steps was produced electro-acoustically in an anechoic chamber. The result of JNDc (Δgap/gap) was rated by 50% “different” judgement ranges for the cello and trumpet tracks, respectively. The effective duration of the autocorrection function (ACF) of the continuous brainwaves (CBWs) within the alpha (8–13 Hz) frequency range in the left hemisphere responding to 91-step ITDG increments revealed that the continuous ratios of τe_min ((τe_min_rear − τe_min_front)/τe_min_front) of CBWs were constantly on the trumpet. Furthermore, a homologous period of resonance between the subjective JNDc and τe values of the ACF of CBWs in the alpha range allowed us to conclude that the subjective JND of the ITDG in a room was related to the W_ IACC value of the interaural cross-correlation function, which reflected the characteristics of source signals themselves and aroused the activities of the brain in the right hemisphere ( p < 0.01). The dry sources of sound stimuli were first used to link the psychological preference and the neurophysiological activation of the room acoustics.

Abstract This research attempts to enhance the learning performance of radial basis function neural network (RBFNuNet) via swarm intelligence (SI) and meta-heuristic algorithms (MHAs). Further, the genetic algorithm (GA) and ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithms are applied for RBFNuNet to learn. The proposed integration of GA and ACO approaches-based (IGACO) algorithm combines the complementarity of exploitation and exploration capabilities to achieve optimization resolve. The feature of population diversification has higher opportunity to pursue the global optimal substitute being constrained to local optimal exceeding in five continuous test functions. The experimental results have illustrated that GA and ACO approaches can be incorporated intelligently and propose an integrated algorithm, which intents for obtaining the optimal accuracy training performance among relevant algorithms in this study. Additionally, method assessment results for five benchmark problems and a practical spot gold price forecast exercise show that the proposed IGACO algorithm outperforms other algorithms and the Box-Jenkins models in terms of forecasting preciseness and execution time.

Abstract The study on the "Technology Innovations in Supply Chains: Unlocking Sustainability and SDG Advancement," offers a thorough examination of the intricate connections between technological innovation, supply chain management, sustainability development, and the advancement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in various Chinese cities. The study explores how developments in artificial intelligence (A.I.), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data have changed supply chain practices and their consequent effects on environmental and sustainability results. It does this by utilizing a substantial dataset spanning a decade. The findings showed that different patterns of technological adoption and their impacts might be seen in the assessed cities. While it is clear that technology innovation is essential for improving supply chain effectiveness and encouraging sustainability, not all regions see the same advantages. Variations in supply chain complexity, city size, technology advancement, and environmental legislation are all blamed for these discrepancies. The report also offers detailed knowledge of the connection between the development of modern supply chains and the advancement of the SDGs. Even though many cities showed high relationships, others showed less alignment, pointing to the importance of additional economic, sociopolitical, and environmental factors. The report concludes by highlighting the potential of technology to advance sustainability and the SDGs while emphasizing the necessity for a deliberate and context-specific approach to technology integration. Additionally, it emphasizes how crucial supportive regulations are in maximizing the advantages. These findings significantly impact business executives, educators, and legislators who want to use technology to advance sustainability and the SDGs.

Abstract China’s economic diplomacy in the Middle East has entered a new stage in the New Era. With a proposal to build a new type of international relations and a community with a shared future for mankind, China is strengthening energy and infrastructure cooperation with the Middle East countries and expanding collaboration in finance, post-conflict reconstruction, and the health industry. Technological innovation and green development have become new impulses for improving cooperation, and a multilevel and multifaceted China-Middle East cooperation pattern has been forged. China adjusts its economic diplomacy in the Middle East in the New Era considering multi-dimensional factors: First, to respond to both sides’ new demands for economic development, seek solutions to the sluggish growth of its traditional economic cooperation pattern with the Middle East, and enhance high-quality cooperation; second, to promote a peaceful and stable regional environment and consolidate Middle East countries’ diplomatic support to China, serving China’s increasing security interest and need for political influence in the Middle East; and third, to improve Middle East countries’ willingness and capacities to deepen their engagements in global economic governance and jointly build an open world economy to respond to mutual demands for international economic institutional reform. China’s economic diplomacy would play an increasingly important role in the Middle East in the post-COVID period.

Abstract This study evaluated the dynamic distribution, regional differences, and convergence of health workforce allocation in Township Health Centers in China during 2011–2020 using data obtained from the China Health Statistics Yearbook (2012–2021). The Gini coefficient and kernel density estimation were chosen to examine the dynamic distribution and regional differences in health workforce allocation in Township Health Centers in China and their components. σ convergence and β convergence were used to investigate the change trend of health workforce allocation in Township Health Centers. The results show that between 2011 and 2020, the number of licensed doctors and registered nurses per thousand population in Township Health Centers both increased largely and regional disparities still exist. In 2020, the largest differences in the density of licensed doctors and registered nurses were found in the eastern and central regions, respectively, and the intensity of trans-variation contributed the most to the overall disparities. The allocation of licensed doctors and registered nurses both exhibited σ convergence, absolute and conditional β convergence, indicating that the regional differences in health workforce in THCs among provinces will decrease. The growth of healthcare workforce was positively impacted by the urbanization rate, growth rate of government health expenditures and growth domestic product per capita, but negatively impacted by population density in rural areas and fiscal self-sufficiency.

Abstract Summary: We present a significant finding that Cu(II) ions can activate hematin (Hem) to generate more HOO⋅ and O2⋅- radicals from the decomposition of H2O2. Galactose oxidase (GO) and hematin have been simultaneously immobilized by coordinating to Cu(II) ions (GO&Hem@Cu(II)). The radicals HOO⋅ and O2⋅- and dioxygen O2 can be in situ generated from the byproduct H2O2 by the Cu(II)-activated hematin. Ample experimental evidence supports the discovery that the immobilized GO is reactivated by the in situ generated HOO⋅ and O2⋅-. For the conversion of 100 mM 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) in water, GO&Hem@Cu(II) (0.8 mg/mL GO encapsulated) has achieved a 99.5% conversion within 180 min. In contrast, 0.8 mg/mL free GO M3-5 variant (ACS Catalysis 2018, 8, 4025) has achieved an HMF conversion of 17.3%. For the conversion of HMF (1,000 mM) by GO&Hem@Cu(II) (4 mg/mL GO encapsulated), the HMF conversion is 98.8% after 8 h reaction.

Abstract Key Clinical Message A 57‐year‐old woman was diagnosed as lung adenocarcinoma. 99mTc‐MDP bone scan showed multiple radioactivity concentrated lesions on bilateral chest wall, which were confirmed as calcification foci after breast implant rupture by SPECT/CT. SPECT/CT could be used for differential diagnosis of breast implant rupture and malignant lesions.
