Abstract For a family of stochastic differential equations driven by additive Gaussian noise, we study the asymptotic behaviors of its corresponding Euler-Maruyama scheme by deriving its convergence rate in terms of relative entropy. Our results for the convergence rate in terms of relative entropy complement the conventional ones in the strong and weak sense and induce some other properties of the Euler-Maruyama scheme. For example, the convergence in terms of the total variation distance can be implied by Pinsker's inequality directly. Moreover, when the drift is β(0<β<1)-Hölder continuous in the spatial variable, the convergence rate in terms of the weighted variation distance is also established. Both of these convergence results do not seem to be directly obtained from any other convergence results of the Euler-Maruyama scheme. The main tool this paper relies on is the Girsanov transform.

Abstract Metastatic tumors cause the most deaths in cancer patients. Treating metastasis remains the primary goal of current cancer research. Although the immune system prevents and kills the tumor cells, the function of the immune system in metastatic cancer has been unappreciated for decades because tumors are able to develop complex signaling pathways to suppress immune responses, leading them to escape detection and elimination. Studies showed NK cell-based therapies have many advantages and promise for fighting metastatic cancers. We here review the function of the immune system in tumor progression, specifically focusing on the ability of NK cells in antimetastasis, how metastatic tumors escape the NK cell attack, as well as the recent development of effective antimetastatic immunotherapies.

Abstract In today's rapidly changing economy, efficient lifestyle has become the current situation of most mobile product users. With the development of performance tools and technologies, a fast lifestyle has brought more wealth and opportunities to users. The slow pace and fluctuating time are indirect income losses, which cause user anxiety to some extent. When the waiting time exceeds the user's waiting threshold, users would experience negative emotions, such as boredom, anxiety and anger, and product satisfaction would drop significantly. Therefore, by analyzing the uniqueness of mobile Internet products and the characteristics of users, this paper studied the reasons and influencing factors of product interactive waiting, and then used machine learning algorithm to analyze the cost function of interactive waiting experience. Finally, the corresponding interactive waiting experience design strategy was proposed. By comparison, the user experience after product interaction optimization design was 8.4% higher than that before product interaction optimization design, and the user frequency was also 14.7% higher after optimization design. In short, user experience plays an important role in product interaction design.

Abstract Poor sleep is a major public health problem with implications for a wide range of critical health outcomes. Insomnia and sleep apnoea are the two most common causes of poor sleep, and recent studies have shown that these disorders frequently co-occur. Comorbid insomnia and sleep apnoea can substantially impair quality of life and increase the overall risk of mortality. However, the causal and physiological links between sleep apnoea and insomnia are unclear. It is also unknown whether having a higher risk for one condition can increase the risk of developing the other. Here, we investigated links between sleep apnoea and insomnia in a British population using a combination of self-reported questionnaires and causal inference. We found that 54.3% of the cohort had moderate insomnia, 9.4% had moderate sleep apnoea, and that 6.2% scored high for both conditions. Importantly, having a higher risk of sleep apnoea was associated with a higher risk of insomnia and vice versa. To determine the causal directionality between sleep apnoea and insomnia, we used Mendelian randomisation and found evidence that sleep apnoea could cause insomnia, but not the reverse. To elucidate how both sleep apnoea and insomnia were linked to each other, we looked at the behavioural markers of poor sleep. We found that feeling fatigued after sleeping and having noticeable sleep problems were linked to a higher burden of both sleep apnoea and insomnia. In conclusion, our results show that sleep apnoea increases the risk of developing insomnia, and both conditions can result in fatigue. We highlight the importance of considering and treating the symptoms of both conditions.
