Abstract Objective: Rotator cuff injury is one prevalent shoulder condition that often leads to pain and dysfunction. The study explored the clinical effects of sodium hyaluronate combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection on rotator cuff injury in arthroscopic repair. Methods: A total of 92 cases with rotator cuff injury were randomly divided into the control group (n = 46, treated with shoulder arthroscopy repair combined with subacromial space injection of sodium hyaluronate) and the experimental group (n = 46, treated with subacromial space injection of autologous PRP on the basis of the treatment in the control group). Visual analogue scale (VAS), Constant-Murley scale (CMS), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), American Shoulder and Elbow Society (ASES), and quality of life (QOL) scores, as well as complications were compared in the two groups before surgery and at 3 and 6 months after surgery. Shoulder range of motion (ROM) was measured before and after surgery. Results: VAS scores of patients in the two groups at 3 and 6 months after surgery were lower than those before surgery, and the VAS scores of patients in the experimental group at 3 and 6 months after surgery were much lower than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). The scores of CMS, UCLA, ASES, and QOL, and shoulder ROM in both groups at 3 and 6 months after surgery were higher than those before surgery, and these shoulder joint function scores, QOL and shoulder ROM in the experimental group at 3 and 6 months after surgery were higher than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). No statistically significant difference presented in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and sodium hyaluronate combined with PRP injection can effectively reduce pain symptoms, improve shoulder joint function and shoulder ROM, and improve QOL in patients with rotator cuff injury.

Abstract Due to its maneuverability and agility, the shipborne high-frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) provides a new way of monitoring large-area marine dynamics and environment information. However, wind direction ambiguity is problematic when using monostatic shipborne HFSWR for wind direction inversion. In this article, an unambiguous wind direction measurement method based on wind direction interval limitation is proposed. The two first-order spectral wind direction estimation methods are first presented using the relationship between the normalized amplitude differences or ratios of the broadened Doppler spectrum and the wind direction. Moreover, based on the characteristic of a small wind direction estimation error in a large included angle between the spectral wind direction and the radar beam, the wind direction interval is obtained by counting the distribution of radar-measured wind direction within this included angle. Furthermore, the eliminated ambiguity of wind direction is transformed to judge the relationship between the wind direction interval and the two curves, which represent the relationship between the spreading parameter and the wind direction. Therefore, the remote sensing monitoring of ocean surface wind direction fields can be realized by shipborne HFSWR. The simulation results are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed method and the multi-beam sampling method for wind direction inversion. The experimental results show that the errors of wind direction estimated by the multi-beam sampling method and the equivalent dual-station model are large, and the proposed method can improve the accuracy of wind direction measurement. Three widely used wave directional spreading models have been applied for performance comparison. The wind direction field measured by the proposed method under a modified cosine model agrees well with that observed by the China-France Oceanography Satellite (CFOSAT).

Abstract On January 8, 2020, there was an outbreak of coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-2019), and on January 24, 2020, Fujian Province issued the "Fujian Provincial Emergency Plan for Public Health Emergencies", which restricted crowd gathering activities such as markets, greatly reducing transportation and industry. The difference between air quality before and after the epidemic was studied, and the results show that the mass concentrations of SO2, NO2, CO, PM10, and PM2.5 in Quanzhou City in February 2020 all decreased in January, with decline rates of 5.8–8.8%, 34.7–46.7%, 14.9–25.1%, 9.4–15.9%, and 5.4– 14.3%; O3 did not show the same change pattern. NO2, CO, O3, PM10, and PM2.5 decreased compared with the same period in 2018 and 2019, of which SO2 and NO2 declined the most, and CO and O3 declined the least. The spatial distribution map of air quality in Quanzhou City in the first half of 2020 was obtained by the Arcgis anti-distance weighting method, and the results showed that the Qingyuanshan area had the best air quality in Quanzhou and was the least affected by the epidemic; the air quality in Tushan Street and Jintoupu changed the most, showing the most obvious impact of the epidemic. The changes in air quality in Quanzhou during the epidemic period show that traffic and industrial pollution sources were more likely to be affected by the epidemic, and the sources of domestic pollution were relatively stable.

Abstract This study constructs a two-echelon low-carbon supply chain consisting of a single manufacturer and a retailer. The manufacturer’s initial capital is zero. The study analyzes three financing modes of the manufacturer by using the Stackelberg game model: external financing (the EF mode), internal financing (the IF mode), and trade credit financing (the TC mode). We found that the IF mode is superior to the EF mode while inferior to the TC mode regarding carbon emission reduction (CER), market demand, and the manufacturer’s profit. Additionally, the IF mode is superior to the EF mode regarding the retailer and supply chain’s profits and special to the TC mode only when the loan and deposit interest rate meet the specific conditions. The best financing mode for the manufacturer is the TC mode, but he needs to give some compensation to the retailer in order to make the retailer cooperate with him. The impact of carbon tax rate changes on the equilibrium solutions in the three financing modes is not only related to the change range of the carbon tax rate itself but also closely related to the initial carbon emissions. A high carbon tax rate can help stimulate the cleaner manufacturer to reduce carbon emissions, but a moderate carbon tax rate is more applicable to the polluting manufacturer. A numerical example is given to demonstrate some of the conclusions. Finally, the study provides managerial insights based on the analytical results.

Abstract Abstract Coronary artery calcium is a strong and independent marker of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular disease. Typically, the accurate segmentation of computed tomography images of the chest is an important prerequisite and basis for coronary artery calcium identification and analysis. However, this is very challenging in practice because the boundaries of coronary artery calcium, the small lesions with large shape variation, are very blurry, resulting in poor performance in existing studies. To tackle this challenge, we present a novel Attention‐based Multi‐Scale Network called AMSN, which can process information through both the main and boundary branches in parallel. Key to our AMSN is a new non‐local multi‐scale context encoder module, which is mainly composed of the multi‐scale attention mechanism and local global long short‐term memory module. By aggregating the multi‐scale context information, i.e. high‐resolution low‐level and low‐resolution high‐level features, the model's feature representative capability and deployment ability are improved effectively. Besides, we introduce a new boundary preserving loss, which can consider the boundary information of all coronary artery calcium together and establish links for the segmentation of different coronary artery calcium simultaneously. Extensive experiments demonstrate our AMSN enables reliable accurate coronary artery calcium segmentation for assisted cardiovascular disease diagnosis clinically.

Abstract During the mining of thick coal seams under the gully slope, the mining-induced fractures are prone to connect with the gully runoff, which may induce potential water hazards and affect underground production. Based on the occurrence characteristics of coal seams and the landform in the gully-developed mining area, the coal seam mining under the slope of Na’er Coal Mine and Baoshan Coal Mine was taken as the engineering background, the seasonal runoff of gullies was considered as the influencing factors of the safe mining, and the spatial relationship between the working face and the gully slope was analyzed when the mining-induced fractures were connected with the gully surface and caused the gully runoff water disaster. The research results show that the occurrence structure of the gully slope has a greater impact on the strata movement of the slope. When the key layer is incomplete, the horizontal sliding and local block overturning of the slope rock strata are strong; when the key layer is complete, the horizontal sliding and local block overturning of the slope rock strata are weakened. According to the safety distance of the working face and the generalized model of safety coal pillar setting, the method of setting the safety coal pillar was used to prevent the connection of slipping cracks of the rock strata at the slope bottom and the gully surface during the slope mining, thus preventing the occurrence of runoff hazards during the thick coal seams mining in the valley terrain. The results can provide a theoretical basis and technical support for the prevention and control of seasonal runoff hazards, as well as a reference for the prevention and control of mining-induced landslides, water conservation mining, and ecological environment protection.

Abstract This mixed methods sequential explanatory study identified and explained the features of engagement strategies for MOOC forum discussion that help low-achieving students make significant progress. Triangulated data were collected from MOOC learners' (n = 335) scores in two reading assessments, their posts to the embedded online discussion forum, and their self-reflection learning journals. Based on learning progress between pre- and post-assessment tasks, MOOC learners are divided into three groups: 1) little, 2) moderate, and 3) significant progress. According to a statistical analysis of the quantified posts, surprisingly, the low-scoring students from the pre-test who demonstrated significant progress later engaged in significantly fewer peer-peer and peer-teacher interactions in the online discussion forum. Guided by self-efficacy literature, the reflective journals of these learners suggested that 1) learner-content interactions may help them advance learning and obtain new information and linguistic knowledge from the peer-made learning materials in the discussion forum; 2) they did not share and exchange ideas and answers with their peers. Instead, they prefer learning from others' discussions and wish to get quick feedback and suggestions on their contributions to the discussion forum; and 3) peer-peer and peer-teacher interactions were proposed as two solutions to regulate their online learning experience as they lack self-discipline and time-management skills. Implications include teachers' continuous support to encourage low-achieving students to learn peer-generated content and quick feedback on their contributions to the discussion forum.

Abstract Abstract Cisplatin (CDDP) based chemotherapy is widely used as the first-line strategy in treating non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), especially lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC). However, secondary cisplatin resistance majorly undermines the cisplatin efficacy leading to a worse prognosis. In this respect, we have identified the role of the DLX6-AS1/miR-181a-5p/miR-382-5p/CELF1 axis in regulating cisplatin resistance of LUSC. qRT-PCR and Western blot analysis were applied to detect gene expression. Transwell assay was used to evaluate the migration and invasion ability of LUSC cells. CCK-8 assay was used to investigate the IC50 of LUSC cells. Flow cytometry was used to test cell apoptosis rate. RNA pull-down and Dual luciferase reporter gene assay were performed to evaluate the crosstalk. DLX6-AS1 was aberrantly high expressed in LUSC tissues and cell lines, and negatively correlated with miR-181a-5p and miR-382-5p expression. DLX6-AS1 expression was enhanced by H3K4me1 in cisplatin resistant LUSC cells. Besides, DLX6-AS1 knockdown led to impaired IC50 of cisplatin resistant LUSC cells. Furthermore, DLX6-AS1 interacted with miR-181a-5p and miR-382-5p to regulate CELF1 expression and thereby mediated the cisplatin sensitivity of cisplatin resistant LUSC cells. DLX6-AS1 induced by H3K4me1 played an important role in promoting secondary cisplatin resistance of LUSC through regulating the miR-181a-5p/miR-382-5p/CELF1 axis. Therefore, targeting DLX6-AS1 might be a novel way of reversing secondary cisplatin resistance in LUSC.

Abstract Blockchain is a decentralized distributed ledger technology. The public chain represented by Bitcoin and Ethereum only realizes the limited anonymity of user identity, and the transaction amount is open to the whole network, resulting in user privacy leakage. Based on the existing anonymous technology, the concealment of the sender, receiver, amount of the transaction, and does not disclose any information, which makes the supervision difficult. Therefore, the design of blockchain scheme with privacy protection and supervision functions is of great significance. In this paper, a blockchain transaction model with both privacy and supervision function is proposed. It uses probability encryption to realize the hiding of the true identity of the blockchain transaction, and uses the commitment scheme and zero-knowledge proof technology to realize the privacy protection and guarantee legitimacy verification of the transaction. With the use of encryption technology, the regulators can supervise blockchain transactions without storing the users' information, which greatly reduces the pressure on storage, computing and key management. In addition, it does not rely on specific consensus mechanism and can be used as an independent module. The security performance analysis shows that the proposed scheme has great practicability and has potential application in many fields.
