Abstract The direct composite resin bonding is widely used in the esthetic restorations of anterior teeth. Due to the technique sensitive procedure, the esthetic effect and long-term clinical performance of direct composite resin restoration have long been the focus of dental clinicians. This article will analyze the influencing factors of esthetic effect of composite resin from three aspects, including materials, teeth and technology. Also, it will summarize the clinical performance of direct composite resin from the perspective of esthetic evaluation. Eventually, this article will provide guidance for the clinical application of esthetic restoration of direct composite resin bonding.

Abstract Objective: This study aimed to systematically review and quantitatively synthesize the existing evidence to better identify the high-risk population of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
Materials and methods: We searched databases including MEDLINE, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and ClinicalTrials.gov up to February 2023. The meta-analysis was performed using RevMan5.3 software, and we calculated the estimated combined effect using inverse variance weighting of OR. I2 statistics were used to quantify the inter-study heterogeneity. Funnel plots and Egger test were used to assess publication bias, and sensitivity analysis was carried out through the transformation effect model or the removal of literature one by one.
Results: Finally, 29 articles were included in the study, which involved a total of 726,656 patients with NAFLD. A total of 15 major risk factors were evaluated. Statistically significant risk factors were: advanced liver fibrosis (OR=6.40), diabetes (OR=2.38), obesity (OR=1.46), hypertension (OR=1.75), older age (OR=3.57), male (OR=2.45), alcohol intake (OR=2.98), smoking (OR=1.44), PNPLA3 genotype variation (OR=1.76), elevated liver enzymes (OR=2.92), low platelet counts (OR=4.61), and low albumin levels (OR=2.11).
Conclusions: Our results showed that advanced liver fibrosis, diabetes, obesity, hypertension, older age, male, alcohol intake, smoking, PNPLA3 genotype variation, elevated liver enzymes, low platelet counts, and low albumin levels were all significant risk factors for HCC in NAFLD. However, dyslipidemia was not found to be a risk factor. Further exploration is needed to confirm whether Hispanic ethnicity and high ferritin levels are also risk factors.

Abstract Pain after burns is a very common problem in children. Severe pain will not only hinder treatment, but also damage children's mental health if not handled in time. Therefore, pain management is very important in treating children with burns. As a safe, effective, and convenient non-drug therapy, music therapy has great advantages in relieving pain and is widely used in a variety of clinical fields. This paper focused on music therapy and its mechanism of pain relief, the current status of research on pain management of pediatric burns, the application and prospect of music therapy in pain management of pediatric burns, etc., to provide reference for clinical application.

Abstract Parastomal hernia is one of the common complications of stoma surgery with an incidence of more than 30%, which can be diagnosed by physical examination and abdominal CT. Risk factors of parastomal hernia might include stoma approaches including the selection of intestine, relationship between stoma and peritoneum, stoma location, aperture size, operation time and the patient's own conditions. It is essential to prevent parastomal hernia in order to improve patients' quality of life. Prophylactic mesh and perioperative care might prevent parastomal hernias. The mesh type might also influence the incidence of parastomal hernia. To reduce the incidence of recurrence of parastomal hernia, placement of mesh by the laparoscopic Sugarbaker technique was an effective surgical approach. How to prevent and repair parastomal hernia and cure parastomal hernia repair still needs further high-quality research to provide evidence.

Abstract Soil salinization has seriously affected plant growth and restricted economic development. Malus zumi is an excellent apple grafting rootstock, and it is also an important tree species to improve saline-alkali land. Under the stress of 200 mM NaCl, the yellowing of Malus zumi leaves became more obvious with time, the activities of antioxidant enzymes increased, and the chlorophyll content increased first and then decreased. Through transcriptome sequencing analysis, 426 new genes were found in a total of 37191 transcriptome sequences, and these new genes were still different from those of apple. After 48 hours of salt stress, compared with the untreated group, 4861 genes were differentially up-regulated and 4413 genes were differentially down-regulated. Through GO function enrichment analysis and pathway function enrichment analysis, it was found that salt stress affected the amino acid synthesis, metabolism, photosynthesis, and other related processes of Malus zumi. Analysis of differential transcription factors revealed that WRKY and ERF families were the important transcription factors involved in salt stress. The gene located at the key positions of metabolic pathway was verified by fluorescence quantitative PCR, and the results were consistent with the results of transcriptome sequencing, which proved the reliability of the data of differentially expressed genes.
