Abstract With the increasing global prevalence of tree pollen allergies, there has been a significant impact on the quality of life for populations. In North and Central China, birch pollen, cypress pollen, and plane tree pollen are the most common allergens for springtime pollen allergy sufferers. The distribution of plants and patterns of pollen transmission in different geographical areas result in varying pollen exposure outcomes, further complicating the challenges in diagnosis and individualized treatment. This article delves into the research progress and clinical application of tree pollen allergies based on the "Molecular Allergology User's Guide 2.0 (MAUG 2.0) " published by the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). It discusses major allergen families and component proteins of tree pollen such as PR-10 proteins, profilins, polcalcins, as well as cross-reactive components that may cause pollen-food allergy syndrome. Allergen component diagnostics can distinguish true allergy sufferers from those with multiple allergen reactions, enabling more targeted selection of allergens for specific immunotherapy, thus enhancing treatment effectiveness. Bet v 1 and Cup a 1, for instance, are specific indicators for immunotherapy in birch and cypress allergy patients. Overall, this article provides cutting-edge information for professionals in the field of tree pollen allergies, offering in-depth exploration of tree pollen allergen component proteins, clinical manifestations, and treatment-related research, aiding in better understanding and addressing the challenges of tree pollen allergies.

Abstract Objective: The aim of this study was to create a predictive nomogram that can accurately identify the risk factors of venous thromboembolism (VTE) in hospitalized patients exhibiting hemoptysis.
Patients and methods: The present study gathered clinical and demographic data of 1,052 hospitalized patients with hemoptysis at Dongyang Hospital between January 2016 and January 2021 through the Lejiu database. The patients were categorized into two groups: the thrombotic event group (n=123) and the non-thrombotic event group (n=929), based on the presence of VTE before discharge. The study utilized univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses to identify the independent risk factors for VTE, with the occurrence of thrombotic events serving as the dependent variable. Furthermore, a nomogram prediction model was formulated to verify the findings.
Results: In hospitalized patients with hemoptysis, the risk of VTE was found to be independently associated with the administration of tranexamic acid (TXA), the presence of D-dimer, and the Charlson Comorbidity Index (CCI) score (p<0.05).
Conclusions: A nomogram model was constructed to evaluate the probability of VTE in patients hospitalized with hemoptysis. This model allows for the timely detection of early VTE warning signs, which may ultimately reduce its occurrence.

Abstract To propose a new student-guided teaching method, in which students carried out the clustering of different diseases with the same pathological characteristics, and differentiated diagnosis of these diseases. This method was named pathological feature clustering (PFC). Seventy-seven undergraduates of School of Stomatology, Wuhan University were enrolled. Stratified random sampling method was adopted to divide the students into 4 groups with 18-20 students in each group. Each group of students selected a disease from the following four topics as the theme and summarize the histological characteristics of the disease: ①oral mucosal disease;②odontogenic tumors and tumor-like lesions, oral and maxillofacial cysts; ③salivary gland diseases;④epithelial-derived tumors and tumor-like lesions (referred to as topics 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively). When discussing a specific type of disease, the group which select the topic was the summary group (SG), and the other groups were the non-summary group (NSG). After summarizing, students shared the summary results through PPTs, and teachers made comments and supplements. The teaching effect was evaluated by comparing the results of the pre-class test and the final examination. Students' acceptance of PFC teaching method was evaluated through a questionnaire, which included 8 objective questions and 1 subjective question. Likert-scale was used to design the questionnaire, with 1 to 5 points for each question. Students rated each question according to their own situation. Differences among groups were compared by Mann-Whitney

Abstract Background: Voriconazole is a new generation of broad-spectrum antifungal agents commonly used in the treatment of invasive aspergillus infections.
Case report: We reported a rare case of myopathy induced by voriconazole, which showed severe muscle pain and significantly elevated myocardial enzymes. Enzymes eventually achieved good efficacy by switching voriconazole to micafungin and the use of L-carnitine.
Conclusions: This reminded us it was necessary to be vigilant for rare adverse reactions of voriconazole in the population with liver dysfunction, the elderly population, and people with multiple underlying diseases in clinical practice. During medication of voriconazole, close attention should be paid to the occurrence of adverse reactions to avoid life-threatening complications.

Abstract To analyze the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and outcome of patients with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP). The clinical data of 69 adult patients with TTP were retrospectively analyzed. There were 19 males and 50 females with a median age of 42 (18-79) years. PLASMIC score 6-7 was recognized in 82.8% (53/64) patients. The activity of von Willebrand factor-cleaving protease (ADAMTS13), which was detected in 21 patients before treatment, was less than 5% in 17 patients and 5%-10% in 3 patients. All 69 patients were treated with plasma exchange (PEX) and/or fresh frozen plasma infusion (PI), 43 of whom were also given glucocorticoid. In addition to PEX/PI and glucocorticoid, rituximab and/or immunosuppressants were administrated in 20 patients. The median follow-up time was 12 (1-57) months. The remission rate was 69.6%, while the relapse rate was 11.6%. The 2-year overall survival (OS) rate was 69.6%±5.5%. The univariate and multivariate analysis showed that relapsed/refractory disease was an independent risk factor for OS. The 2-year OS rate of relapsed/refractory patients was significantly lower than that of the rest patients (41.5%±9.8% vs. 83.7%±5.6%,
