Abstract Episodic training is a mainstream training strategy for few-shot learning. In few-shot scenarios, however, this strategy is often inferior to some non-episodic training strategy, e. g., Neighbourhood Component Analysis (NCA), which challenges the principle that training conditions must match testing conditions. Thus, a question is naturally asked: How to search for episodic-free tasks for better few-shot learning? In this work, we propose a novel meta-training framework beyond episodic training. In this framework, episodic tasks are not used directly for training, but for evaluating the effectiveness of some selected episodic-free tasks from a task set that are performed for training the meta-learners. The selection criterion is designed with the affinity, which measures the degree to which loss decreases when executing the target tasks after training with the selected tasks. In experiments, the training task set contains some promising types, e. g., contrastive learning and classification, and the target few-shot tasks are achieved with the nearest centroid classifiers on the miniImageNet, tiered-ImageNet and CIFAR-FS datasets. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.

Abstract Maintaining the safe and efficient operation of network technology is an important development task of the computer industry. Topology constraint can optimize and combine the tracking results and select the target objects with better tracking performance to obtain the final tracking results and determine the target scale changes. Data mining technology can reduce the number of combinations to be detected, reduce the workload, and improve the timeliness and accuracy of the process of mining alarm association rules. Therefore, based on the summary and analysis of previous research results, this paper studied the network fault diagnosis of the embedded system method based on topology constraint and data mining. Firstly, a fault diagnosis topology model was established by constructing a topology search algorithm, which eliminated the filtering of association rules without topology relationship; the association rule-based data mining model was analyzed through the collection of network alarm data; the model algorithm was applied to the simulation experiment of network fault diagnosis of the embedded system and achieved good results. The results show that correcting rage of retrieval varies from 0.65 to 090 under different window sizes; the running time of the proposed method drops from 310 s to 35 s during 1-8 step/s of the sliding step, while the node degree ranges from 8 to 14 and diagnostic accuracy ranges from 0.97 to 0.94; the remaining alarm number increases from 0.5 to 3.5 threshold value, while the regular association number distributed in an interval of 40 to 140. The algorithm in this paper provides a reference for further research on network fault diagnosis of the embedded system.

Abstract Building machines that can augment or replace human efforts to accomplish complex tasks is one of central topics for humanity. Especially, nanomachines made of discrete numbers of molecular components can perform intended mechanical movements in a predetermined manner. Utilizing free energies of Watson-Crick base pairing, different types of DNA nanomachines have been invented to operate intended stepwise or autonomous actions with external stimuli, and we here summarized the motive forces that drive DNA-based nanomachineries. DNA tweezers, DNA origami actuators, DNA walkers, and DNA machine-enabled bulk sensing are discussed including structural motif design, toehold creations for strands displacement reactions, and other input forces, as well as examples of biological motor-driven hybrid nanomachines. By addressing these prototypical artificial nanodevices, we envision future focuses should include developing various input energies, host cell-assisted structure self-replication, and nonequilibrium transportations.
