Abstract Online consumer reviews benefit not only buyers but also sellers in the virtual market place. For consumers, they can realize their attitudes to products through the various lexical attitudinal resources indicating emotion and judgment, and for sellers they act as a form of customer feedback which can enhance the relationship between buyers and sellers. In that sense they improve the operation of the market price mechanism. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Interpersonal meanings realized through the attitude resources drawn upon by English and Chinese online consumers. Based on the Appraisal System, especially the Attitude System in Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), this study conducts a contrastive analysis of the attitudinal resources employed by consumers in Amazon UK and Amazon China. These features are analyzed by using the UAM CorpusTool to annotate the relevant resources, with similarities and differences in the general distribution of attitudinal resources identified, and any potential underlying reasons explained. The results of this study suggest that different features and distribution of attitudinal resources are employed in English and Chinese online consumer reviews, and that more attitudinal units are involved in English online consumer reviews than in the Chinese versions. Consumers from the United Kingdom also seem to use more affect resources than Chinese consumers in their online reviews, while Chinese consumers employ slightly more judgment resources and more appreciation resources. Possible factors that may cause such differences are examined in terms of the differing contexts of cultures.

Abstract Background: Compare the differences between normal newborns and high-risk children with inherited metabolic diseases. The disease profile includes amino acidemias, fatty acid oxidation disorders, and organic acidemias.
Methods: Data was collected on newborns and children from high-risk populations in Shanghai from December 2010 to December 2020.
Results: 232,561 newborns were screened for disorders of organic, amino acid, and fatty acid metabolism. The initial positive rate was 0.66 % (1,526/232,561) and the positive recall rate was 77.85 %. The positive predictive value is 4.71 %. Among them, 56 cases were diagnosed as metabolic abnormalities. The total incidence rate is 1:4153. Hyperphenylalaninemia and short-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase are the most common diseases in newborns. In addition, in 56 children, 39 (69.42 %) were diagnosed by genetic sequencing. Some hotspot mutations in 14 IEMs have been observed, including PAH gene c.728G > A, c.611A > G, and ACADS gene c. 1031A > G, c.164C > T. A total of 49,860 symptomatic patients were screened, of which 185 were diagnosed with IEM, with a detection rate of 0.37 %. The most commonly diagnosed diseases in high-risk infants aremethylmalonic acidemia and hyperphenylalaninemia.
Conclusion: There are more clinical cases of congenital metabolic errors diagnosed by tandem mass spectrometry than newborn screening. The spectrum of diseases, prevalence, and genetic characteristics of normal newborns and high-risk children are quite different.

Abstract Aim: The aim was to provide updated evidence on the association of male body mass index (BMI) with outcomes of assisted reproduction technology (ART).
Methods: PubMed, Embase, and Scopus databases were systematically searched. The review included observational studies in patients undergoing ART, that is, either in-vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and compared rate of clinical pregnancy and live birth based on different categories of male BMI. Quality of the pooled findings was assessed using the GRADE criteria.
Results: A total of 19 studies were included in the review. Among subjects undergoing IVF, there were no significant differences in the rates of clinical pregnancy among overweight (odds ratio [OR] 1.38, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.65, 2.96) and obese (OR 1.86, 95% CI: 0.75, 4.58) BMI, compared to normal male BMI. Similarly, there were no significant differences in the rates of live birth among overweight (OR 1.04, 95% CI: 0.97, 1.13) and obese BMI (OR 0.90, 95% CI: 0.69, 1.18) when compared to males with normal BMI. Further, among those undergoing ICSI, there were no significant differences in the odds of clinical pregnancy among overweight (OR 0.98, 95% CI: 0.73, 1.33) and obese (OR 0.89, 95% CI: 0.62, 1.29). The odds of live births among overweight (OR 0.97, 95% CI: 0.89, 1.05) and obese (OR 0.95, 95% CI: 0.84, 1.07) male BMI were statistically similar to males with normal BMI undergoing ICSI.
Conclusions: The low to very low-quality findings suggest no significant association of overweight and obese BMI with clinical pregnancy and live birth rates among couples undergoing either IVF or ICSI.

Abstract Microspore embryogenesis is widely used in plant breeding to obtain homozygous lines. It is an important way of obtaining haploids and it is valuable for QTL (Quantitative Trailt Locus) mapping and genetic research. We analyzed the microspore embryogenesis ability of 142 recombinant inbred lines (RIL) and mapped QTLs for microspore embryogenesis based on a genetic map constructed using specific-locus amplified fragment sequencing SLAF-seq technology. Results revealed that microspore embryogenesis ability in pepper is a quantitative character. Seven QTLs were detected on linkage groups LG2, LG6, LG8, LG11 and LG12. The peak logarithm of odds (LOD) score of the seven QTLs ranged from 3.51 to 6.66, and the range of phenotypic variation explained by a single QTL ranged from 4.76 to 18.30%. We identified a major QTL, Me2.2, located in the region of 116.5–118.5 cM on LG2; the corresponding physical segment was 166,621,667–167,038,758 bp, and 24 candidate genes were predicted in this region. Functional annotation indicated that these genes are closely related to the initiation of cell division, symmetrical or asymmetric cell division, and other life processes. The study laid a good foundation for further research on the mechanism of microspore embryogenesis.

Abstract Peppers are a major vegetable crop worldwide. With the completion of additional genome assemblies, a multitude of single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) can be utilized for population structure and genetic diversity analysis. In this study, we used target SNP-sequencing as a new high-throughput sequencing technology, screening out 425 perfect SNPs for analyzing the genetic diversity and population structure among 496 pepper lines from five pepper species in China and abroad. The perfect SNP panel exhibited commendable discriminative ability, as indicated by the average values of polymorphism information content, observed heterozygosity, minor allele frequency, and genetic diversity, which were 0.346, 0.011, 0.371, and 0.449, respectively. Based on phylogenetic, population structure, and principal component analyses, 484

Abstract Elements segregation has a significant impact on the performance of steel products and becomes more serious with the increase of products size. Many studies have been carried out on segregation in solidification. None of the studies on the quantitative analysis of segregation evaluation for the full surface of large-size metal components. In this paper the elements segregation degree (Ds) is used for large size metal component analysis for the first time corresponds to the specification of permissible variations for the final product composition. The permissible variations are able to constrain the upper limit of the segregation degree. Based on the data of non-alloy steel and low alloy steel, alloy steel, stainless steel and heat-resistant steel in ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) A29/A29 M and GB/T 222, the correlation between upper and lower permission variation to element content was established and the regression formula was obtained respectively. Each element content was corresponding to a specified permission limit. The segregation degree of steel products was easily evaluated by the formula precisely. The 95% prediction interval was utilized as the upper and lower variation line to evaluate the segregation degree of large-size sample. The method was successfully applied in the full-scale mapping of longitudinal section of the high-speed train wheel by Original Position Analysis for Large Samples (OPA-LS) technique. The negative and positive Ds of Al in high-speed train wheel were over D
