Abstract Since there is not much research on structural health monitoring (SHM) applications in tall buildings nowadays, this paper gives a proposal of how it can be applied on skyscrapers. Covering the whole process of SHM, this paper focuses more on the diagnostic algorithms, including Structural dynamic index method, Modal parameter identification method Neural network algorithm and Genetic algorithm and how these algorithms can be used in SHM. After introducing the basic process of SHM, an example is given to show how these principles can be applied in this over 400m building. And after all these introductions, a conclusion can be drawn that the structural health monitoring system can be applied properly in tall buildings following the way proposed in this paper.

Abstract When contributors' goals and legislative and political structures vary, as they often do in the case of worldwide fish populations, it becomes more challenging to implement ethical fishing tactics. Canada, the United States, and Mexico all fish from Pacific regions anchovies in the California Modern. Climate-driven numbers and geographic dynamics may pollute the waters of collaborative aquaculture and lead to overloading. This research expands upon prior works using a game theoretic model of Tran's boundary sardine fisheries in different climatic conditions to account for ecological links. More significant economic advantages accrue from cooperation fishing tactics that consider the mackerel's role as feed for other species in the natural system, as opposed to plans that merely take note of the worth of mackerel harvests to a particular fishing nation. The maximum environmental benefit is obtained at a fishery rate for sardines barely less than the sardine Fishery Management Safe Yield. Ecological-based control of fisheries can increase sustainability and profits, but only if investors and policy makers consider the ecology in business-applicable models. Understanding and adapting to the fast alterations in habitat distributions due to climate change and designing ways to achieve viable and lucrative fishery amidst altering environments will necessitate an increased emphasis on ecosystem-based governance.

Abstract Objective: To explore the feasibility of using marking and fusion image-guided technique with cone-beam CT (CBCT) in cases of kidney ruptured haemorrhage without extravascular leakage in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) images.
Methods: This is a retrospective case-control study that included 43 patients who underwent transcatheter arterial embolization for kidney ruptured haemorrhage and difficult haemostasis. The patients were divided into two groups: the CBCT group (cases without extravascular leakage observed in angiography) and the control group (cases with clearly identifiable target vessels in angiography). The baseline characteristics and clinical outcomes were collected and analysed.
Results: The results showed no statistically significant differences in the duration of the procedure and intraoperative blood transfusion between the control and CBCT groups (P > .05). The study clarified that the CBCT group had a significantly higher rate of improvement of gross haematuria compared to the control group (P < .05). The CBCT group showed a greater increase in haemoglobin and a lesser increase in creatinine. The clinical success rates were 87.5% in the control group and 90.9% in the CBCT group (P > .05).
Conclusions: The marking and fusion image-guided technique is useful in cases of kidney ruptured haemorrhage without extravascular leakage of contrast agent. The technique is safe, feasible, and effective, and we believe it is superior to purely DSA-guidance.
Advances in knowledge: The use of the marking and fusion image-guided technique is recommended to overcome the challenge of undetectable target vessels during interventional procedures. This technique is considered as non-inferior to purely DSA-guided interventional procedures where the target vessels are clearly identifiable.

Abstract Near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) is a rapid measurement technique based on the spectroscopic absorption bands of specific functional groups within biomass. Its main advantages include simple preparation, precise analysis, and the ability to analyze multiple components simultaneously. Fast analysis of straw proximates (moisture, ash, and fixed carbon) has been investigated by means of NIRS. A total of 144 samples were collected, the spectral data were analyzed by partial least squares (PLS) regression and support vector regression (SVR) with four wavelength selection methods. PLS combined with competitive adaptive reweighted sampling (CARS) provided excellent predictive performance for moisture, ash, and fixed carbon. For moisture prediction, the values of R

Abstract Aim: To explore the current situation and problems of interventional radiology (IR) staff, imaging equipment and procedures in hospitals.
Methods: An electronic questionnaire was sent to 186 officially registered secondary and tertiary hospitals through a dedicated network for medical administration in a city in China. Data collection efforts ceased two weeks after the questionnaire was sent out.
Results: The response rate was 100%. IR procedures were provided in 22 hospitals (11.8%). 50.0% were 2A level hospitals. 95.5% began to perform IR procedures in the last three decades. The IR workload of 3A level hospitals was significantly heavier than that in 3B or 2 level hospitals (1139.20±699.32 vs. 95.60±45.48, 1139.20±699.32 vs. 85.17±61.15; P<0.001). There were more senior interventional radiologists than juniors (43 vs. 41), and insufficient radiographers (radiographer-equipment ratio 0.91 ± 0.54). Thirteen hospitals (59.1%) had set up independent IR departments, and several clinical departments provided IR service at the same time in ten hospitals.
Conclusions: The IR specialty of 3A hospitals had obvious advantages in staff, imaging equipment, and procedure volume over other hospitals. It should be noted that there were fewer junior interventional radiologists and the number of radiographers was inadequate. Further attract the talents to the IR field is important in future.

Abstract Few-shot learning aims to recognize novel queries with limited support samples by learning from base knowledge. Recent progress in this setting assumes that the base knowledge and novel query samples are distributed in the same domains, which are usually infeasible for realistic applications. Toward this issue, we propose to address the cross-domain few-shot learning problem where only extremely few samples are available in target domains. Under this realistic setting, we focus on the fast adaptation capability of meta-learners by proposing an effective dual adaptive representation alignment approach. In our approach, a prototypical feature alignment is first proposed to recalibrate support instances as prototypes and reproject these prototypes with a differentiable closed-form solution. Therefore feature spaces of learned knowledge can be adaptively transformed to query spaces by the cross-instance and cross-prototype relations. Besides the feature alignment, we further present a normalized distribution alignment module, which exploits prior statistics of query samples for solving the covariant shifts among the support and query samples. With these two modules, a progressive meta-learning framework is constructed to perform the fast adaptation with extremely few-shot samples while maintaining its generalization capabilities. Experimental evidence demonstrates our approach achieves new state-of-the-art results on 4 CDFSL benchmarks and 4 fine-grained cross-domain benchmarks.

Abstract Fault detection using the domain adaptation technique is one of the more promising methods of solving the domain shift problem, and has therefore been intensively investigated in recent years. However, the domain adaptation method still has elements of impracticality: firstly, domain-specific decision boundaries are not taken into consideration, which often results in poor performance near the class boundary; and secondly, information on the source domain needs to be exploited with priority over information on the target domain, as the source domain can provide a rich dataset. Thus, the real-world implementations of this approach are still scarce. In order to address these issues, a novel fault detection approach based on one-sided domain adaptation for real-world railway door systems is proposed. An anomaly detector created using label-rich source domain data is used to generate distinctive source latent features, and the target domain features are then aligned toward the source latent features in a one-sided way. The performance and sensitivity analyses show that the proposed method is more accurate than alternative methods, with an F1 score of 97.9%, and is the most robust against variation in the input features. The proposed method also bridges the gap between theoretical domain adaptation research and tangible industrial applications. Furthermore, the proposed approach can be applied to conventional railway components and various electro-mechanical actuators. This is because the motor current signals used in this study are primarily obtained from the controller or motor drive, which eliminates the need for extra sensors.
